Good, I do not attempt to Adgust yourreadyo there's nothing wrong. We have tiken control as to bring you. Thisspecious show Mayiha your Ihave, your attention. Pleasebut, Ijust got Ta know. One thing: Are you ready? I saiwhat's up what's up park? Wouldous theorganization welcome to the second annual feef and beer raisonmoney for our veterans before we get started? I just want to give a quickshat out the J Shenski for putting all this together once again. Second Year in a road atJayis. Really kick some serious as putting this thing together also wantto give a shout all the the members of park. Would Youth Organization forhelping this thing run smoothly, putting us all together, helping Jayrun it it's a wonderful vent if you're listening live get down here werethirty thruee, O one mechanicsall road and the beautiful North EastPhiladelphia. I'm your host John Craton host of two on five live every Mondaynight, seven and nine on wildfire radiocom to my left, a parkwood staple. You all know him and love him. Mister Dek, Martin from the Santabou firstpodcast Whit's up Tek, eithor and they're John, that Abe into hey, listen, you know, some people don't need an intro. You know you have like certainboxers certain wrestlers or walk into the ring, and you don't need to givethem an intro you're right up there with those guys wow. You know you justshow up and people know who it is. Actually I think the music stopped whenyou walked in early. You know I mean because you're so up there in park with turn it up. So Real, quick, we're here, like I said, raising some money for veterans. We get the Army Navy game today. We'll talk alittle bit about that later. I do want to get started. Obviously we know Eagles play o Dallas, it's EaglesDallas Week right. We know that this game probably has bigger magnitude than it has in thelast couple years, because I think we're in agreement that if they losethis game this week, seasons pretty much over at that point right, it isYeph, so it feels good to finally have anEagles Dallas game. That actually means something if they win the Marr they'retied for first place and obviously with their own destiny intheir hands. So, let's, let's dive in a little bit about what this game isgoing to mean Deacon and what you think maybe get some of your opinions on onhow you think they can win this game. I know from looking, you know, throw all yourpondents and you can. You can take them for what they're worth but hey if HAVDALLAS, when half had the eagles pulling it off. I think well, cracks me up, and this iswhere we'll get started is Dalas beat the saints right and theyand their defense play probably the best game, any dals defenses played inyears. But am I wrong to think that maybewe're going a little too above and beyond the tales cawbays team, theythey did only score. Thirteen points correct. They did okay and in thesecond half they were pretty much shut down for the whole second half m. Sohow many times and you can you can look at a hundred different times- tha drewbreezes had the ball in his hands to win games out of those hundred times.Ninety of them, he probably wins the game: correct, YEP, okay! So it's notlike we're talking about a forty five to ten route where datpress got lookelike Joe Montana, they scored thirteen points they and they were all on thefirst half they weren't they weren't barn burners into second Haff. So it'snot like. We can't go down there tomorrow as an organization that needsthis win and pull this game off. Am I right, Yeah Yeah? I my one of my thoughts in that DallasNew Orleans Games game was when was the last time New Orleans heldsomebody to thirteen points and lost in the DREWBRI Shonpetin Erra? But that'swhat I mean it had to be a long time ago, early in their careers or earlier in their time together. ButI mean New Orleans just doesn't lose games hthirheen an ten no and theyprobably haven't lost a game like that in eons. Well, that's what you'r made agood point too? It's dead! It's definitely one hundred percent. Notsince those two been together yeah bit,...

I mean that they were. They had thatpat of a game, and I think after the game, they talked to Sean Payton andthe rest of the team, and they all pretty much agreed that as a team as a whole, there wasn't oneguy that had a good game. It like everybody, struggled O and it was likethe perfect storm for Dallas and and actually the New Orleans defense didhave a decent game because they limited Dallas to ten points. Ight and DackPrescott was not. I mean he wasn't very effective inthat game. The one touchdown PAS to be through was a short pass. It was it. Ithink it was inside the twenty, if not inside the T, twenty five, definitelyinside the twenty five he threw short Pash to the flat and the and thereceiver took care of the rest yeah into the Endgol. So it's not like hewas throwing the ball. Forty fifty yards down fields right into the endzone and put it on a dine, and he still only ended up with what about twohundred and thirty, our yeah yeah and, and he put the ball on the ground atleast three times rightn. It wasn't like he was crisp. We all know him, asyou know, Dinkin Dack, because that's all he really does right. Yeah and youknow, Omari Cooper opens up the game for them. Yes, fut. I was listen to astat. I believe it was like Greece that said yesterday, but they only had theyonly have about twenty pleas all year of twenty yards ar more and only aboutfour of them since COOPEARH's been there. So it's not like this is thishigh powered St Louis Rams offense, you know from o one that they're just goingto go up and down the field on you as bad as as bad as the saints played. They only gave up thirteen points and jer breeze. Had the Bowe in his handsat least four times in the clutch that he could have won that Gav a won thegame right. He ended up geing it Oll, N and Tho, throw that he makes that getsintercepted, there's a throw that you haven't seen ym to breeze making twentyyears now right. So O it was like this perfect storm and not to mention theywere what on like a ten game winning streak. At that point. Yes, I mean yeah. They were probably the hottest team out there, but it fotherd in Houston, yeahHouston. You know the rams everybody, but if you listen to the pundents andtalking heads, they act, and I know it's Dallas. So of course, Hey're goingto act like this, but they act like Dallas is the like. I said the o onerams or the you know the eighty five bears or the defense ther it's. Theybeat a team who was coming off of a high the way they and just cald them atthe right time right if they playe that game ten more times new noos frobablywins, I gaine ten times. Oh sure, Aain they spank them. Ten Times to a hundredpercent. Dallas has a solid defense. Again, like you said, they're, not theeighty five bears and not twoousand ravens defense, but there are soliddefense. They've got playmakers at the linebacker position, defensiveanposition. Those are the types of players that you need when they're making. Please you don'thave to worry about your back en so much right, because they're gettinganter the quarterback they're, shutting down the run game they're covering theshort passes so you're, not so concerned about your defensivebackfield when the front seven are making please and that's what they havetheir defenseiends is making plays their their linebackers are makingplays, so they know they make up for a lot ofwhat the offense doesn't bring to the table. So let me ask you question Dod,obviously, they're going to have to you know score right to beat Dallas they they'regoing to have to the offense isn't going to be. You know they can'tstruggle the way they did against the giants in the first Haf, and you knowthe way they did the week before. They've played a complete six, theirlay os six quarters. They have to play a complete game, but let's not act likewe're, worried about ballas coming out and scoring fifty point now. Okay! No,so you know that if you' re, if you're able to drive the ball and then and you can- and you can score that youshould be able to beat- you should be able to keep pace at least long enoughto be able to beat this ofference. What do you think they're going to have todo if Dallas's defense comes out and plays it the way they do? What's? Thefirst thing that dug and Carson- and them guys are going to have to gameplan for to beat this defense if they're playing the way that they didwith saints well, first of Formus, first and foremost, the way you stopDallas is you got to keep Zick off the field, so termsbecausever yeaheverything runs through zekon offense. He opens up so much for them and heprotects dack right because when Dack duls'n have to throw the ball, he's notthack right, you know, he's a game manager, a maintenance guy and that'swhat that's what Dallas wants? That's! What they thrive on that time ofpossession chewing up the clock chewing up the ardage wearing down thatdefenseive front on the other side, that's how they make their living. Ifyou can keep Jack off the field and limit the big play to cooper you're ingood shape, yeah, the problem is: How do you do that right and you don't wantto bring an extra guy up in the box, because when you do that it opens upthe back into guys like Cooper Copeesley, who, I still don'tunderstand. Hows has a job in the NFL,...

...because he's Tasin, Ofwa atualhe makesenough place os make enough playe, but he's not nothing special. I don't knowif I would want them on the eagles an you know, that's how lowly I think ofHem, but he does make that occasional play weere like dame at this guy. Howdoes he do it? So? What? And so only the receiver on the other other side, galaway o go, is he's a burner. So what he going on your going on your point, then right you have to stop sequ. WHAT DID NEW ORLEANS DO? Who doesn't have aneighty five bears defense? What did they do to keep Zek? Not You know he'sgoing to get his, but what did they do to keep him and check to keepthemselves in that game for as long as they were, but he didn't go down thereand beat them up Nou. It was a matter of Dalsas defense getting off the fieldand liveting the damage that drew breezing company could do yeah, and inthat you know in my eyes, TAT's the way they were able to overcome and Dallas was hiped for that game. Oh Yeah, they had a lot of emotion going into that game. I', Not Wer, walking a lotof trash to before to day ware. They were which leads me to think that theywere. They were on emotional high going into that game. They knew that their season was going to come down to that game. If theydidn't win that game, there was a good chance. Their season was not going togo anywhere and there you know Dallas is a desperate team. I still thinkthey're a desperate team, because nothing is locked up right now on theNFC east. It may not be for most of the regt other two weeks. Every weeks asteand I think New Orleans- I don't know if they went in there, cocky thinkingthey just had to show up and throw their shirt out on the field, and theywere going to win, but they might have been. You know, feeling themselvesfeeling themselves reading their press clippings having that street that theywere on and they beav been blowing guys, ouon and every point. But when you, when you play like that, and even if it's, even if you're not doing onpurpose right when you come in and you drop forty eight on Eagles when youdrop fifty one the week before, you know when you're margin of victories oryou know in the ES. As far as like how you'r beating teams when you just justby you know, just by read like not even you dontevenhave to go out of your way to read the press. Clobis Ou don't have to go outou, like just by the fact that you can show up and beat teams that way in theNFL, because no like nobody Ho plays an easy win right. This nfl we week theweek you can lose so just by looking at the fact that the way they're runningover teams you're already feeling yourself just but just lik accidentright or and then you look at a Dallas team that you know by all tens ofpurposes. Aren't that great? You know dack press gots not like, I said he's,not Joe Montana. So if you look at that matchup you go, we should probably goin there and blow these guys oit and then, when it was in the first half andyou're loogoing at like all right. That's not the case here thinks start to like Kona snowballthere for you that yeah, you Wen all of a sudden you're, not up twenty. Youknow what I mean her. No. I think that, and I think you hit it right on thenail that they were emotionally charged for thatgame. They know that they're still batle for the number one se with therams. You know you got other teams that are starting to creep upnail that arenow now. It's not the rams in the saint so far out in front. There's otherteams starting to creep up, and maybe they had a little pressure on them toto show up and listen trew breezes, a first battlehole famer. He played oneof the worst games. I've ever seen in play. Yeah. Do you know what I mean? SoI can't envision that they're going to have another one of those games towhore you're GOINGNA, look at and go I this team's legit Dallas. I mean h.This team is legit and they're a threat. I can't I can't imagine thatyou can't go down there and win this game. Thiss is a Winnabol game. This isabsolutely a Wonnerbul game and one one more thing about New Orleans dols JohnMadde. When he was a broadcaster he used to say when you let bad teams hangaround bad things tend to happen, and that's exactly, I think, that's another smary that played out in that DallasNew Orleans game igreat New Orleans. Let them hang around not that DALS is abad team, but they're, certainly not I the same tier as New Orleans when theylet them hang around bad things started to happen and, like you said, it tookon a snowball effect, and it just it got to the point where New Orleans wasnot able to overcome what they got themselves into and, like I said thisteam plays the saints, probably play their worst game and, like you said, probably in the in the Paton breeze error, if not right up there, and theywere still only three points down. You got to be looking a D and I know on thebroadcast. They showed a lot of the saints players like sitting thereshaking their head. They cot believe that this came is as close as it is,and I think it just wait on them, and even after all that even after Dallas'sdefense was playing one of their best games ever and the offense was doingjust enough to keep breeze off the off the field. They were still in that gameso, like I said it wasn't, like Dallas put their phote on the saints throatand just blew them, theire bluwe their...

...doors off. You know this is a team thatthey were. I mean Shom Payton was still calling wildcat plays in the fourthquarter, because the game was still within rewiabl. It was only three pointGane, so the Eagles go down there tomorrow, right and, like I said forall in tens of purposes. This is this is their season. You know they're, notmathematically eliminated if they lose tomorrow, but morally and emotionallythey're probably eliminated if they lose tomorrow. So you got to look at itlike allright, we gotto go down there and we got to have the best offensivegame that we've had all year and we need a defense to do just enough. Likeyou said, because there's really only one threat on that offense yeahriht. Soin your opinion, what's the offensive game plan in Dallas tomorrow from Duggy,PN and Andy other coaches, I think the offensive gameplane going intotomorrow's game is going to be along the lines of getting Josh Adamssomewhere around twenty rushes and mixing in a couple chlory Cory, ClementRoshes they've got to chew up that clock. They got to keep the cowboyysoffense off the field. The one proving time proven effective way to do that isto establish t the runt game early, establish that one game early, keepdows off. Balance Opens up your Passiong game for lateron, and there are, you know, a slew of weapons at Carsonwinte's disposal with Outsean Jeffrey with golden teat with Darren prolls, the the other running backs. We have, we have, you know, probably top threetight in in the league and Zack Gerks dals got it when they use. Him hasproven to be an effective tight end, and I think his capacity tomorrow iscontributions tomorrow. We need a little bit more out of him and I thinkhe's capable of doing that. But if we can, we don't have to really throw theball damnfield that much, I think, dinking dack down the field, Pana Russian game down. You know, keepmoving that ball downfield, that's the way to combat that that dals offensewear down that Dallas Defense and just control the game, and I this is awinnable game. I don't want to make my prediction yet as far as score, but Ido think we go in there and we can and well win this game Al Right, so they godown there. They win the game, they're tied for first place. Now theyhave Houston, they have Washington and they have the rams left. I believeDallas has Indianapolis Ba giants and all oe still yeah and yeah and all homegames. In that scenario, you're tied for first, the Rams obviously are going to be oneof the Games because at that point, they're probably still going to beplaying for the first seed, so they're going to want to win that game andyou're playing them there. There right and they want revenge and Dallas- hastwo cake walks out of their last three games. Now indie's going to be stillplaying for something because they're still in playol position, yeah and evenjust straight up, Indhese, better than Dalas on paper right. So despite whathappened that with the KUSEC LAS yeah exactly so you look at the you, look atdestiny being in the eagles hands if they tie for first after tomorrow, after a win, do they have enough? Do they get two out of the last three? Dothey be Houston at home they and they obviously they're, going to walk Alover Washington at the end that that Houston game provided the Eagles winttomorrow, the Houston game is to key to the season. They have to steal thatgame yeah, because you can lose the t rams and still win a division. Yes yeah, because you're going to have Washington at the end, they should be Washington.I don't know what the if there is a tie. I don't know what the division recordswould Beta egles would be one game better one game better than dalesision.Okay, caus think jol O be four and two eagles will be five and one okay. Atthat point, then the eagles would win the division based on t e. The firsthighbreaker ball second typebreaker, but I think Houston is the key game forthe season. If provided we get the win tomorrow, because I do believe going out to La is going to be a toughtough hole. It's going to be it's going to be really difficult toget that win out. There La is going to be looking they're going to haverevenge yeah going into that week. After what we did not only what we didon the field, but what we did in the Stande yeah, the Eagles fans traveledout there and just took the game. O gotta always be a Tadio. That's alwaysgoing to be the case there, because theyr fans are frauds true they're outthere for more entertainment than anything. Yes, when you, when you live five miles fromthe beach six foot, bonds growing trees out, if you had the choice betweengoing to latch a football game or going to the Beach Youre probaby, going to gothe beach right in that stadium, yeah exactly that E in that stadium. Sohere's the thing, though right the huge I do agree tha, obviously the seasonisgoing to hange on that Houston game.

The good thing is, it seems that the Egles are at thepoint now in the season where guys are starting to get healthy, you're goingto start getting guys back, which a lot of teams are losing guys now or guysare starting to get kind of run down. Now the eagles are going to startgetting guys healthy and keep positions. WRIGT secondary positions, Jordan,Hicks guys that you need on the fiel are going to start getting healthy atthe right time. So, if you go out and you beat Dallas Tomorrow, I think youput yourself in the best position possible to even possibly run the table.I know like I said with that La game. It could be tough, but la has beenbeatable for the last couple weeks. Yeah like tr they're, not all of asudden blowing people out it regt they've been beautibule for the defensethat they have they've given up some points that yeah, that's what I mean.So it's not wet. You know do I feel good about going to La and beating thatteam with the with a depleted secondary and all this sot of stuff. No, butwe've seen over the last couple weeks and even thes season in general, thatteams are beatable. Look like I said, look what Dallas Di de the saints youknow Detroit was in the game, was beating Laup until the fourth quorter a couple weeks ago and Detroit stinks. So every team is beatable yeah, I'm notthrowing away that that the buccaneers can't go into Dallas and beat them. Youknow what I mean with the way they've been playing so depends on which FitzPatch ye Wol depens, O waterbacks, going to be there. They kno it'squarterback change e quarterback every week, but before we had te break, whatI'm going to just the fact is tomorrow. Obviously the season hinges on tomorrow, you wint to morrow the rest of the season, the destiny es in your hands. If they're able to steal this division back and win thiss division, gettingeverybody healthy. What we've been talking about Carson seems to finallybe maybe hitting astride's he's starting back healthy, starting to moveout of the pocket he's making. Please that we were so used to from maanseroutside the pocket. Do you see- and I know Thi playoffs are different. Saintsand Rams are going to be tough to beat. Is this a team if they get people backhealthy and they start clicking right at the right time? This is a team thatcould be dangerous complay off time if they do in fact make it they based on what they did last yearin the playoffs, if they Hav a different position nowthey're coming fom fori that well yeah, but we alredy undher dog and everygamelish right, a playoff right at home right so based on what they did lastyear in the playoffs if they are able to start clicking, especially on the offense aside, I think the eagles become the team thatnobody wants to play. I agree you know I giris. If they get on that. If theyget on that role, I think they become that team that nobody wants to play. I think the problem that we will faceis where do we play if we play at home, I think we're going to get one homegame we're going to get one. If we win the division we get. One gright dependson what it how it plays out for the other teams that play where wego from there right, and I think if we go on the road you want to avoid thesaints you w. You want to avoid this onspossible. You want to avoid the ramsexactly as long as possible, but you know in the way to do that. IsYou can't finish five or six? You got to finish four or three E. I agree. Iagree because the wild card stols within reach but R for me I'd rather gotake that division away from Dallas and then letthem have to if they make the whild car. Let them have to go out the La Yep. Youknow and face down, because you know the we'll see just just how well they are aright real, quick once again we're coming new live from parkwood youth, Oranization, thirty, three o one mechanics fill robe beef and beer benefit ind. Every penny that e we put out today's goingto go to our veterans are wonderful. Host Jashenski's got acouple different places, wher oing to be donate n money to so we want tothank J for putting this together last year was a great event this yearwere anticipating the same thing. So if you're listening live come on out here,it's thirty three O one mechanicstall road in a great northeast and a lovelyParkwood, I'm a park with alum. I got...

...like I said in the opener e: got a park:Wood staple here: mser deak, Martin he's a South West Guy, but he's aparkwood staple nowe you're southwest Guy Right, so it I is Soutwus southweytOmti car, so we opened up talking about theeagles and cowboys. Obviously it's cowboys weak. I want to shift gears alittle bit deek if you don't mind all our sixers. It's been. It's been apretty interesting season. So far we you know we started off the season byclearly saying that we were going to need a a third gun, so to speak, a guyto go to in the clutch, a guy that you know if joe L ANB was going to be onthe bench or, if God forbid, like last night, was getting arrest. Ay, you weregoing to need a guy to you, know, go to you know and past seasons when Joelwould would go to the bench er he ould he would get one of his restes. Youwere struggling score. You had to depend on you know Robert Covington orDarty Sargs, to have a big game, but not no more. No, not no more oeverybody who's been filling. The team knows that over the last twelve gameswe were, we made an acquisition and we got the the wonderful Edgy Jimmy Butleron the squad. He's been a godsend to this team. Ithink I believe they are ten and two or eleven and three now since he's beenhere, and we were talking the tailor beforeto show that just his presence has already changedthe face of this team they've already. The team has a little bit more edge, now bens being more aggressive MOU sinceJimmy's been here, which we've been talking about for months. That F, ifBen, would just show a a fraction of aggressiveness he's virtuallyunguardable in this week and that's starting t to kind of show its headnailthat they're starting to to play aggressive. So last night they wentinto Detroit Jol and bead got a very much needed rest. I know it was. It was much bally hoodbecause there was three days between Games, H, n when they lost the othernight. We all saw the lies to Toronto right, but you know joeell looked like he wasguessed against Toronto, so they gave Hem much needed day off and it was alittle worrisome because Detroit, even with Joe on the game, is usually apretty back and forth kind of game. You knowthey battle. You need a guy like Joo on those games, but sixers came out. Theyplayed aggressive, they played really good team ball. They moved the ballaround and and Jimmy Butler went off not only in the score to score sheet, but he went off on the court too. He for those either watch the game noticethat he was getting in Blake Giffin's face most of the game, which I love, because it's it's been documented a thousand times that I hate Blake, giffin. First of all, number one. Just just personally, I think he's a dirtbag he's top fivetes players in a Leagu. Hegets away with murder on the court as far as elbows. As far as pushing people to the ground chargees,he gets away with with murder, but the fact that you have a guy like JimmyButler deck that won't back down that'll, get in his face. That'll runhis mouth and can compete as well. I think, is a hugegame. Changer for the six ifteen agreed, and that's a great word that you use todescribe what he brings to the tables edgy, because until he arrives there wasn't one edgyplayer on the team. Jeell included, Jell Gell. I don't want to Sey. Hetries to be AG. He has a slight bit of an edge Tohem, but nothing like JimmyButler wel for Jouell. It depends on who e's going up against and that'strue too. Yes, the B, the big ETI, Ori Whiteside, or if it's Drummang, youknow, he's Goin, no bring his a gang alesser center eantually right and I like everything that Jimmy Butlerbrings to to the table. I don't know what the issues were at is two previousstops in the NBA Oll Minnesota alone is because those guys are soft out there, but I think he's a perfect fit for the city of Philadelphia he's everything weprofess ourselves to be. I think I think he fits our mold and ourmentality to a TA and I've enjoyed watching him. I've enjoyed his edginess that hebrings to the to the team you'R right. It brings it a bit of an edge to theeverybody else. Ben Is stepping up with that bit of anedge also, the other thing that that not that I have an issue, but Iquestion is why tdoes a twenty two year old need aday of rest? I don't get that because he hasn't played a full season, yet he should be okay, but that was how many years agothat was two years ago right. It's he's played all last year. Eighty two gamesis lot of games. I sall S, Tis...

...bicesarily rarly Fr was it an issue you know for for how many years, howlong was ye out for thet players are taking game? EA He missed two fouryears but yeah. That's that's a lot! That's a lot of not playing WI S!Thirty, two! Thirty, three! Thirty, four! Okay I'll give them a game here, and then you got imagitos twenty two years. It two years is a long time notto ban PLIKE DMENSION you're talking about a guy who didn't pick up abasketball, for you know the first sixteen years of his life, so he mayben really rest no, no you're in but you're right. But what I'm going to saywas you got to imagine? We talked about it with one of our players from ourteam right. The fact that you gain that much in muscle you put on that muchweight. You grow as fast as he did and then to not be able to do, and he evensaid it. The worst part about him being injured in out was that he couldn'tcondition himself yeah. So he you know he felt like when he first startedplaying. He had no gass, so not now he's well known in the League, so he'sgoing to get every team's best, every game right that so fu that guys hangingon you, we talked about it with Mel Right he's, got kids hanging on Hem.He's he's got to put in the extra effort because he's the guy when hewalks on the court right. So if he hasn't sat yet and he's playingforty minutes a game, I mean listen, it's a different game. Now it adds upit. Is it does it ar percentats? I get all that, but he's twenty two. So that's my only my only thing is thathe's a younger guy and I don't think he I don't think he's at the point yet inhis career, where he needs to start taking a game or two off every once ina while. I don't mind giving them a game, especially in a Toronto game, because for most of that game that was a battle Toronto. TORONTO ENDED UP. Toronto ended up winning that game, butthat was a battle and they battled. They had a lot of young guys on thatteam. That were that had Joe El kind of running all over the place, Valitunusis super athletic. Okay, he had joel running in and out of the post, Gardinthem on the perimeter when they had the two young kids come in, they wererunning around, they had joe, they were pulling him away from the basket andI'm not I'm not making excuses for me, but in a in an eighty two game season. If you look at a game against you know Detroit in December, if you knew that you could give himthat game off and it's going to help him in these next three, then you do it,because that game in Detroit in December isn't going to mean anything.Come you know, February, March and early April, when you need him to be ata hundred percent full tank castink. So you give him a game off and there's aNi man roster rik, we're not pating that many bodies out there right right, there's a a thing in baseball where they say every game you win early is one lessgame. You got to win later right. Ni Got Toaly, gree, Mi diit. I totallyagree: Every game we win early is one let's game. We got ta win later on inthe season yeah, but don't you think, that's only a Monter in baseball, because it's a hundred a d sixty is a hundred. Sixty two go and- and if youlook at it, baseball players get rest right. NOWER used to get rest all thetime which right we a anyway, but because you don't get that either andwith baseball. It's weird. I've always said if you're playing a hundred andsixty Hu game season, so you automatically think that you haveplenty of time, but the funny thing is with baseball like it seems like whenyou get down in Ha division by four or five games, your battle in the wholeseason to get back o the sea I mean like and you're looking at, like. Oh,we still got a hundred and sixty games go whatever you're battling the entireseason to just make up those games in basketball. It's like all right. I geta game or two Dan. You know I give a guy arrest. I can take a loss inDetroit. The first game- and is you know the first of a backto back orwhatever you know you look at times where, like I think, coming up, theyhave like one game, they'll play like Bostonand then the next game. I think they have like Phoenix. Well, you sit joe onthat fannas game because the back to back right, you play Bossin, you throwhim out there. He exerts everything he has in Boston, I mean listen. I don'thave a problem with him sitting, especially because now- and I think nowit even lends itself to that. Because now you have Jimmy right before youwere like of to sits, were in trouble yeah. Now you got Jimmy. So it's likeall right. We can get Joeall rrest every once in a while. I don't have aproblem with her yeah. It's not that I have a problemwith it. I just wish so you'd rather have him out there struggling. I don'twant tem Maut there struggling, but if you want to give them less minutes,it's okay to give them less minutes, but just to take a whole game off. It seemed like a good idea: Lastnig allright yeah. I just like I said it it's different than an years past, because you've got guys now that can thay can hold down to fort and even since ever since he started, andeven now that he's in his you know his...

...third year or second full year he gets gets and he gets gassed andwhilehe's got a work on that cardio I mean he does and here's my thing, and Iknow this from personal experiences, this team at least Joeel and I've seenBen out and when Robert was here, he was out these guys. It's not like theygo from the Games and go home and put their feet up right. These guys arekids they're out I've seen Hem I've been there watching them all get out oftrucks and go in the clubs o yeah two in the morning. So it's a newgeneration and I know t the older generation did the same thing, butthese guys, like they're, just different man, they'rejust different, and if you got to give them a day off, like I said in a gamein December against against Detroit, I'm all right with it, you know. Wouldit have been different if they lost, I don't know, maybe some people have adifferent opinion, but listen you got a guy. You got ta killer on your team. Now that you can kind of say all right man, you got to run the show until weget jo all back on the court. I don't really have a problem with it. I thinkit was needed. I thought they were going to lose last night, only puttingeight guys out there like ate thetroy a you put out, isn't you know W beaterseither and Detroit still playoff team like they're, no push shower, but stilleight guys Ha. ' It's a lot of Bot a weight to put on eight guys were a goodteam you're playing against. It certainly helps having Jimmy Butler inthe mix. OIT was because you know- and you notice it too, like even evenrookies like Langer, Shannon right or even like Mike Muscala who for allntensAF purposes, a lot of people say he's sort of on the soft side, and you knowyou got gritty guys like Tj, and you know Mer Johnson's going to throw hisbody around, but it just it here's the thing you mentioned earlier about you, don't know what happened in Jimmy's. Previous two stops. If youlook at Chicago and if you look at Minnesota, there's not a lot of guys that you will look at and go that's a pretty bad assto like that's a pretty tough. Do we're going to have a werein at to battlewith that Giet all game yeah right, especially Minnesota, right actuall.Yes, guys! I cat, aren't getting on the ground and fighting for balls AndrewWiggans. Doesn't you know he don't give you the grittiness like a Tj mcconal oryou know an aggressiveness like a Dario when he was here or something like that?Jimmy knows, like he's already put his mark on every player on this team Ye,like Oh there's, no doubt who's, one of the biggest dirty put like jade redicis a dick on Ta Court. We talk about on our show a a time like he's a totalDick on the court that, like he, has edge yeah Joeell when he wants to hasedge ban when he wants to has edge. Jimmy is given that to the other members of this team andnow you're, seeing guys like book, a Mer Johnson doesn't need to be on thefloor. Wrestont for balls guy's been in leage for twelve years right he's on aone year. CONTRACT HEU don't need to be showing anything but he's getting downfighting for balls, rookies like Langy Shammins, getting down running throughpicks and fightng for balls, getting posted up by Blake Yeah Wat loks liketerrify fight right and he's fighting it off he's not just giving it up. Youknow Mike mascal was broken nose with the mask and he's fighting foroffensive rebounds, that's all because of Jimmy Butler, like that's what hewanted Minnesota to do when he went there and he he expresses that freely through the press, I'm sure hesexpresses it freely in the locker room. This is what I expect of you guys andthat that's what I'm talking about when I'm talking about. He fits right intothe filly mentality. That's what I'm talking about he's out there bustinghis ass doing what he needs to maintain his status and even trying to getbetter if HEU get at twenty nine years old. I don't know how much better youcan get, but those are the things he's trying to do. He obviously expects everyone else atthe team to do the same thing and he's not afraid to say it and e and Phillyfans loved that about him and about their players. In general, I mean he'literally worked his ass off to get to this point in the league like he wasstressing, Ria yeah drift te Laya drafted, lad. Ten start then startedwith the Dros team. You know he was essentially homeless s when he was inhigh school. So, like he's literally comng from nothing and he's, I guess hejust has a mentality like I worked all the way up to here and now I'm asuperstar t. You should be able to do half of this SINC Youare at this point, especially with Minnesota to because they had two guys that on in AndrewWiggans, that was highly touted as the ASENSUS number one pick that year andCanada, Michael Joldan, yeah exactly and cat who foralintens of purposes wasconsensus number one in his draft too, and two guys that I think and me anddeek talk about this about basketball. The time is when you start when you start readingthe press clippings when you start smelling yourself when you starthearing the things that people are saying about you and you start readingthose. You know those draft boards before the drafts, and you start seeingall the you know. Adrian wos going a askes and all those guys coming outsaying it's Angew wiggins he's an Om on...

...pick like Taylor said Te next, MichaelJordan, the next Lebron James. Well, then, you start believing that and youstart believing that as soon as you step on the court, regardless of whatYoursey you're wearing you're going to dominate, because you hear all thatnoise right, unfair expectations correct, but they also play into it byallowing themselves to not work as hard because of that right right. So when aguy like Jimmy Butler who, like Talor said almost undrafted had came fromnothing transferred colleges got adopted, he's got he's, you know, he'sgot foster parents and all this other stuff, and he goes on the court and heeven hed ven mentioned it in Ha press conference the other day HEU said:Listen, I'm not a bad teammate alls! I expect. Is that guys work as hard as Ido yeah! That's all! I is there's nothing wrong with that and if you comein with this superstar attitude that I don't need to work hard whet we'regoing to have a problem right, he comes in here. I knew right away. He wasn'tgoing to be a problem because guys like joe well guys like Ben Having Jj here, they're, not the kind of guys that are going to look at Jimmy Butler and goyeah. Dude like let's relax here. You know with the aggretilike Theyr guysthat are going to work like Chris brushard had a comment the other dayand I had tailor even'n got chance to alk you about this, but he made acomment on cowar show about how Joe El an bead and Ben Simons don't work hardand how they hate the practice and Joeo anbls practice early and Nall this, andI wanted to laugh because if anybody seeing in him fi like have head likelook at the improvement that Joe an beat his had in the last two years ha,we just got thun saying he missed ha full two years and he's the mostdominant big man in the leag right he's in the MVP race. You don't get that wayby not working hard right right. So, there's no way that I knew there's noway to Jimmy Butler wis, going to be able come a problem on a team that isfilled, Theh, guys who work hard right right, because we can assume thateveryone who plays in the NBA is a talented basketball player and there'sonly three hundred and fifty spots right, right and theyre and theyre andfor most part, they're, really tolnted, basketball players. So what separates tthe great ones from the from the good ones or the average ones is work. Yougot to put the work in and Jowell. He only played one year in college and was injured at the end of that year.He was what you say: Sixteen he started es Fiteena, so he only had two years inhigh school one year in college, that was cut shurt by injury and then hisprofessional career was cut short by to s, injuries and other injuries. So whathim? What has gotten him to? The point to where he's at now is got to be thehard work he just passed. A hundred games in his career think about thatNan. He just got so hundres third year fourth year here fourth year on fourthyear ear, you know yeah so Makin announcement for the Raffles. Ifyou're listening alive get up here. Thirty three of one mechanics, all ROAget some raffles put some tickets in. Let Ja make his announcement here at so like, like I said when when hecame here, I knew from watching him like I've, always loved Jimmy Butler'sgame. You know when he comes Intho, welths farger center and drops fiftyand an overtime game you know to guy can pall. You know he gets buckets, soyou know he was exactly what this team needed. I think I think going forward.I think that the loss of Toronto- actually I was talking it- was funny. Iwas talking to anthing o Argana. We retectin back an forththe other dayafter the Toronto game, and I said to thim. I was like it's almost like yeah. You lost that game and building up to that game, everybodysaid. Ah, this is going to be a litmus test and it's going to be a you know, abarometer for how good we are- and I said it was almost not a bad thing thatthey lost that game, because I think what that did was a cul open, woul thatopen out an brand's eyes to the fact that this team isn't good enough herit's not set right because they were winning they d. They came off for twotwenty plus blowouts right before that game, so if they go in and they beatToronto, Elon Bran probably looks at this team and goes all right. I mayneed to tweek this a little bit, but we're good enough nail. The fact thatthey went in had their anses handed to him in at Toronto Game I think, opensout and brands eyes and goes all right. We need like a piece like I don't needjust a bench tweek. I need one more piece, so it's almost not and Anthonand Gargano agreed. It's almost not a bad thing that they lost that game, because now they can't be complacent. It showed him what he has and wha whathe needs to get done de make them a legit three seet in the east. I agreeif, after the first game against Boston- and we got blown out o posted Olfacebook, that until the sixers can beat Toronto and Boston it'll be fun to watch this team withBen Injeel, but I know they're not going anywhere after the first round ofa playoffs yeah and the season.

I hate to use the term that it was justgoing to be a waste of time, but I knew how the story was going tofinish before I even wrate the book gree. So then we went ahead and did thebutkler trade, and I was- I was really excited about that. I was happy aboutthat glad they did that thought. Okay, ELP Brando knows what's going on. Heknows what he has to do he's working his way to make in this a complete team, and then we played against Toronto Yeah and the same thing an you went allright, yeah. I know what I need right, but I'm I'm not as dower on the team,as I was after that first game against Boston, but I'm still thinking. Okay, you got one more shot on Christmas to convince me that you can compete withBoston and Toronto. Yeah obviously got them back to back right beforeChristmas, yeah, Alson, Toron, oously Toronto still a step above everybodyelse in the Yes until they go out and lose the NENET yesterday and you'relike come on Buk I mean so yeah they're there. But if you, if you get yourselfanother piece and a legitimate piece, whether it's a starter or a first guylike the last couple games, thei first three substitutions are Muscala Shanitt,Shanmon and McConnell yeah. We need to pick up somebod not going to win you're,not going to win the east with those three being your first and you're, notgoing to win with Tj mcconnal playine. Twenty three minutes again I's notgoing to Hav. I think they need to add somebody like just anybody now, just sothey have death for the season, so joeell can' get rest. Not One of thesedeleue players yeah and some and the other g other stars can actually getsome minutes cut down. So when the playoffs come, and you only play a manrotation right, that's when you're said you're not putting all these ectianmiles on these guys when they actually need to play in the playoffs okay, theyneed to pick up a quality piece, not necessarilyquantity, yeah. They need to get that forth player. You don't need o. Youdon't need a fifteenth guy. Filler right. You know you don't like God it'sgoing to play. You know a mere Johnson minutes. You know five minute, a game guy and you knowwhether it's blowing out either way or whatever or somebody to give someone aspell. You need a legit six men, they're nit, a JMAL CRAWFORD, tyghtthey're, not playing the other guy that they got from Minnesota either. Yeah Imean even when he comes back because is injur sitting out the rest of the year.I mean they said, he's rehabbing. They expect them to come back before the endof the year guy, but he's not he's not an impact player. No, because you'regoing to have a mere Johnson you're going to have Mike Mosscala and evenJonah bolden you O, I mean you got three guys. If Joe need a spell there, they have guys that do it, you need a legitimate six man, so im ont to come off the bench andfill it up. For you know, that's what you thought falt wis going to be. Hewas going to be a guy coming off the bench. You need a guy that can come offand fill it up. Like balln toners came off the Benche, they play twentyminutes score. Eighteen points, yeah, hats, ten rebounds, he doesn't startAnye and that's a C, that's kind of gut. You need teahthat's right, that's kindof guy! You need so when, when Brett, and does these rotations that aseverybody scratching her head, you go all right least I have this guy on thecourt that can fill it up and BIE some time to our stars. Get back. Yes, allright, real, quick! Meetings are set to start in Monday, which is wheremost of your big deals are going to go down. W WE BEEN LISTENING TO MYSELF AND DEEKfrom two hunded Ad Five Live ind, a Sanda boot first podcast Wur. Webrought a very special guest, and I know myself and DEK have coach baseballfor years. But when you want to talk baseball deak, you go to a baseballfishing, an ATO. You go to a guide that eat sleeps and breathe baseball andwhen you're in Parkwood there's only one guy to go to, and that's Mr ScottAnderson, Scott, how are you a senior good guys? Ust Got Anderson Seniorbecause Jun, Scott Anderson Junior, don't know what he's talking about Nah...

Heknowsno o Mor than I doall right. Soso philly's made a little bit of a SPLAH couple weeks ago. They went andmade a deal got rid of JP Crawford and somehow or another managed to havesomebody actually take Carlo Santana off their Ha, which I never thought emillion heare e going to have to fuck it out because they took some of themoney correct, so contract, wise and skillwise. I thought there was no waywe were getting rid of him, but they did fe. We've got some Sivilent sibilance, sothey traded them out to Seattle. They got pall, stare short, stop, Jen, Sugor, twenty seven years old, I think best. Twenty seven years old looks like he'sprobably forautens purposes. Probably year lead of Fitter Right Surte forprojected lineup seems, like he's probably going to be e leadoff fitter.Probably I probably put him in a toholt. I don't know about. Leadoff has reto dobelitoff. If he's still here, I don't know about. I Dob. We don'tthink adules going to be here by the season anyway by the time to start so, but sigarare you looking at wo nred andninety three hundred hitter for the last three years. Great Short: StopPickup Te God, the guy just natural shorts, tug Im, an every Dansison yeahevery game going to be there. The big thing is now they got to get Harper teygot TA sign, harbor. Well, that's where so. That's where I was going to Eng togo with the Winter Meetings Harpers in Vegas, that's his hometown. There is rumors out there to Harpersaid he's not signing till after the winter meetings. So I hoping t oPhillis can talk to them before that and have everything locked up butcigaris a great pickup. It's just a great its ISA. Great Good, JP Crawfordneeds to move on his time's done here in Philly yeah. He was cu on the fieldas the number one guy for the last ten years. Eight years in Philly he was atird e main guy, so he needs to move on because he was getting stale here, a sohere's the thing right, sod winter meeting start Monday and, like Scotdsaid and deek you can. You can jump in here as well. They're saying thatharbor's got obviously som things going on with thevideo game that he he's on the front cover with no uniform because he wantsto make this he's got like this elaborate announcement that he's goingto make and, like Scott said he's in Vegasalready, so he wants to do like this whole production and guess what attwenty six years old, when you're set to make like four hundred million toplay to play baseball you're well within your right to announce. However, the Hell you want at this point, yeah so may ask you guys an Deco I'll startwith you. We've heard all the rumors we've heard the harbors we've heard theMechados they missed out on Corabin, but for six years for a pitcher. I'mfine with that. If you had T, if you had to put your GMhat on and you had to choose, you come out of the winter meetings and even ifit's just slightly after the meetings who do you think they're going to comeaway with and is it and who do you want them to comeaway with? I think they're going to come away withHarper if they come away with either one of them, because my my my read on this is, I don't know ifthey're going to come away with either one of them. I tend to think the longer this dragson the less likely that either one of them is going to end up with Philly theree, despite even despite what happened with hopper last year todawn year, Iwould rather have him, I think, he's a grittier player, a moreedgy player which fits the mold of Philly Andand. I think he would be a morevaluable player here. Machado myself, like everyone else, did notlike what he said about not running out the grandpal. That's just not who weare yeah. I don't think his antics would play well in the city ofPhiladelphia, but wait. Didn't we go through twelve years. It rounds a dayon nat we did. There was a lot of times, ro Rolands Didnin Hospital. That istrue, so the and the fans still Aknowledge ronds is one of the bestshort stops ever play the game welehe's in in the Phill. Yours, yes, that'sPhill for stop over bow up on the BOA correst, so wee already gone down thatroad, so ITOA and Boet or Ralins did deliver yeah ring Heyes D Buchato. I don't think he I mean. I know thedodgers made the world series, but I'm trying to think I don't think his statswere that good to wirm out a playit, his playof tad his play, like he's, notthe reason, a it the world here: No, not okay! So here's what I'm worriedabout Wimichado e see if you guys agree, he's twenty six. He made those commentsin in a not only made the comments, but he made them during a world series:Okay Right, which is already not good right. If you listen to the bus, teronies and the canrose and folls Ond, all those guys, they said, there's alot of teams around the league that are taking that into consideration yeyou're staying away from here's. What I'm worried about you give a guy thisalready admitting that he's not Johnny Hussle, three hundred million dollarsor more that or more he's an e T. Forty three fif! Even more of a reason forhim not to have to hustle, but here's...

...the here's, the ten years, threehundred million, he could just go, I'm not going to run a ball out in July,he's not going to get Tomesume, I'm just saying like in Thatyea, but here'sthe thing too is you got to look at the phillies brass, the top guys alldrafted him in Boltom Wer. They all worked, so they know yeah. So I think Idon't think he went th. I don't think he really want to go to La after thatall star game. It made me he made it little comment wet camp. They hadlittle fun Ed Second Base here, but they all do ti, but yeah they all knowwheve got it yeah. I don't think he really want to go to La, but he knew hemaybe have a chance on winn world series this year, but he wants to comeback to the east coast, he's a Miami Guy and he's Baltimore Yeah. So I couldsee him going here or somewhere e Yankees, because you gotta, rememberGagorious is out he's got thomy John for thy Yankees, so yeah, I think theAgis going to put the phillies can top any offer. So I won hardfor. I think Iharperfitts more here because you're looking at Fort Forty, two, maybeposbing forty home runs. Oh He ins, nice oarwhat. He hits on the Roa e Fo d,Orty five oparend Siien Bank part yeah and when you sign Hart, Bri Give Harperthree hundred and eighty over ten years or two I give me years, oers that wereton right now think Bou. What they got. Tos said that I give him three eight. Igive thim three hundred a D eightteen yeah. You know why doring to make thatup in season ticket, Holse, pus, Jersey, so yeah, it's! No! It's not going to beBS. It's going to be back in Theoa, O no nines, Wen e, always selled outevery single game. Absolutely! And it's not it's not our money coming out ofour pocket! Oh Yeah! I don't know we're to Workin man yea we're going to putout for because we're GOINGNA go on to watch them yeah. Well, here's the thingso ou plug him in Rightfield, you got Roman Quinn, e xan every got NickWilliams, an left, yeah got Roman Quinn leading off then I would go with. Iwould probably go with kingory back N. Second, Oh, my God, you got Harper, you got hot,you got a hoskins and Sigara and then sigor CN Sagore actually bat. Second,I'm sorry kin re back on the eight yeah. You drop them down. That's incredible!Lineup! Right Now! Now, how do you do you got to Pish the Hoskins? You GotBarber behind them. Yeah quit I'm GOINNA walk ofscor up before him,Harvar behind hem yeah score his all fields right Hoa, the hundred HieHoskins Ackora left a right and then hoskins goes back to first BAC wherehe's Colerin. Where he's supposed to be, and they got left the right. You can'tmake the switchol cant and he's not as like. We talkd about Jo NB he's not asgas NAL midseason because he's not running around and left field. AL Await, FO GOTBOUT! If you do, if you happen to sign Ma Chaldo to if you gotboth of them, you got mychildowit. Third, but O. Okay, just say you don'tdo Machado! You do the Harper! You Got Frango yeah me Fi e, don't TamMachato, Frankors, Torao, stayes yeah! So now you got youv got cigar. You'vegot grumand Quinn, Sagor, you got Hoskins, you got Harper and behind himyou got frank ope. Then then you go in to Nick Williamson Kinger Yeah, becausenow Franko's got you know when when you have harper before you, Franco playsthe Jason worthrol because now, which would be perfect, which is yeah, whichis perfect, because because now you're not putting Franko in forth and hopingthat he knows your resure right. So now, I'lli'e! Listen, I'M NOT GOING TO PITCHTHE HARPER! I'm going to take my chances. WIF, Franco now, frank, wo'sgoing t start getting. Pitches Yeato see right because now he's Atoeah Soou, you don't need to come away with both of those guys o. You know money wise. You can yeah right, but you don't need to because harber plugged in, likeScott just says, makes a difference all the way for nine al the way down. Ithelps your whole lot yeah. I agree. Hus Now kangary goes back to that eighthole and goes the second PACG werhe belong Wuere, he beows and to me yousid, Romus, Wilsen Romo o bring him back yeah. I heard Yousn I like a farand if f our ever gets going. The way he's projected to be he's a nice seven.Eight Ho. I heard him saying today that they're they're in the mix fremoto there's a hour they're asking a ton forhim, but that could also be Hashtrin, but you have that correct. If you comeall right, so let me ask you question Righ, you come away, you start yourspring training and you came away with J, Hav, brace, Harper, Jen, Sakora andJT. RIA MOLTA. Are you happy? Yes? Are you knoware you competing and out withthat that team? Oh yeah, absolutely because the always in real naturalsavrage or three top picture yeah, I agree with you- are Oler Jei got a get.I would not have gave Corman te six here, I'm glad to filly STA te Dhop upToda, look at the damage you do to the nationals lineup when you take harperout of it. Oh Yeah. They can't hit with this story theyre aling yeah, but theyonly have three pictures now so, but nobody else right, right, right andwith Harper here the Phillylo Mrphy last year, yeah EA. Nobody really ranaway with the division and the two fuck owners that were supposed to be there:foldit yeah, the mets and and the national they weren't there at the endnow canos a good player, but that's the only thing Tho Mat sa o as not matterbras, are young yeah they're going to be around for a while tere you going tohave to deal with that. I think they were ahead of scectoalsansup there too Donaldson's older. I don't think doyea want to have the years he'shad in the American league, but there's Gotr, Donaldson Ha Great Years inToronto. What do you who D he had behind them? Ther is lineupyes. Yes,they're put their line up ou for the...

...rest of teur lineup. I is a younger N,an a Junor WNAC harper and you added JT, Riomodo or, if God forbid, you ad manyMachado- that Atlanta brece offense can't hang with you right. They wererunning games Wan here two to one TU, three, two, that's not a higtrohourdoffense! That's going to be able to hang with no they're, not Puttin, Oskin fo, aror Bu childvery model, whatever that's also when surgerpitched and you knowwan. You know right, and I think that the ace and the whole for thephillies and everybody knows it is the amount of money they have to play withyeah there's no other team. That has the amount of money. I think I've seenit a couple times. I think they're only on the hook this year and like the nexttwo or three years for probably until they sign people for their their on theHoope, for only ten million or less. I think you're right yeah ti an I thinkfor one or two of those years. It's five for less five million dollars orless in professional sports. You know Haloto deal, that's INSAE, guys, arokoright right! You now I mean the FA unercontol for what Ar sitting prettyright now, yeah in that position, and they have more money to God to throwaround if they throw it around a little bit.Foolishly, I don't mind, but they can't be totally foolish with the money theyyou know they got to keep some sanity to it because you got to think down theroad. You know you got to think five years down theroad a little bit with the money. You don't want to grow. It all way likeback in the AGEA, Lance parise right right, because in my mind down the roadbeans might trap. We wantto try and get my Chi ifwe aand if we can lean one or both of parper orMachato. If we can layin one of those to or both of them. If you, then you see what you have asfar as if you want to try and get your outhere earlier, you see what you coan trade for him. If you want to wait tillhe's a free agent, then you got to save that money for when he's a free agentto try and get him. Let's lay this sout. I know he wants the pluy her, it sojust say: Usay after the winter meanings you come away with. Michadaparper go somewhere else N. do you then call it Los Angeles and say we'll giveyou sixtoe their number one picture in t a farm system and anybody else youwant for trout right now. Yes, if you can't get home yo trying to make themovie yeah, Prospe or prope word all major league. Well, you you can giveHem Franko. You can give him Seo Frante by, but six THOS got to be your numberone. Guy He's got to be that Tradeby Por Trayeah, because I don't think theangel will take anybody else, but that number one picture that you have fortrout did: That's o you don't Land Harper found the Phillies Yeu got allthat money here clear out our farem system, because you know why we want towin now hen. You know what it is to like think about going a pie guys like the phillies hold their has held theirprospects in higher regard than most of the leage. Oh, yes, that's most teamsdo Thaug, correct it, but and and how many have been really paying down? NotMen we're not talking ofwee we're still talking about Kyle drabecks and Donbrowns in the world. Wal Rih, I said: Look at looking JP GOLFORD put the waythey're looking at sixtone nail as right now, the whole league is tryingto get sixto from this team Ye. All those and Ne Rao give them up. Look atall the players. We got rid of for Royhal Day and Lif Luk Litlek, how manyof them panned out note of them, not not ofmicodieller tyle drae AD, not ofe notevel down Brown, had a good two months of his career, like none of themyeah right. So, while I agree with Scott, yes, you got to look at him likeall right. Tlisten we got whatever their rank is in the minor leaguesystem. Imagine Dawmn just just say you come away with Harper the scenari youjust made in two years when trouts available Harper is only on be twenty. Eight it'sone year well here in like s his contract, Aner Iney, two thousand andtwenty he becomes a freeage o Twen Yoar osorry Sowe only got ta sit tight forone Er Harvast, twenty eight ontwenty, eight Poskins S, Wan Twenty Five. Youknow dubls twenty five, if he's still here, nick woyams is frontofeverybody's in that Peak Kangarys, twenty three you're going to bringtrout in it. Twenty seven trouts trout at that time I think, will be twentynine. Okay, if you are, do you not want to time Arot my persoutely tras Gonta be good tos, no I'll justsay he's going to be twenty nine. If anything, you got a young, Roman Qlinn,so trout's a little bit older, you move in the left. Listen there keep RomandQuindin center fed. Teaches me t now you may have to give up Roman Quinnonat theold for Travelu, that's fack because track and place Sener field. That's a Harperand hoskins yeah have aded when, if isgets er, O touchableyeah honestly other Thaniman no, I me him and Ol already on Touc Abole onthis on this team, ges they're, the only two on he face of your franchiseor Tho, guys you're building your team around I'd like to keep Nick Williamsput if they ais for Nicolams for troup, yeah, you're, probably gonna have yeahothey ask for Nick Williams. Then you just move out terror out the left. YeahI mean which out there has troubl staying on the field, hurt everyposition there ther physician right now,...

...a didn't they! So if we, if we have togive off that number one piccer you're just going to have to beat teams eightto six yea the bath and a- and I think, with the Harper in the lineup ind atrat, an the lineup, and if we get my Chocola tute bashing hole, bones is notgoing to be as issue for like Teo, I was Gona Bargano earlier. The firstthing, Organi said is like listen. You got no under contract right. You can.If you set up this team to go and bash other teams and, like you said, wineight to six, whatever you can have annola and then sign your Jake Ariettas, who are thrty tre. Thirty, three, your J haps, who are thrt seven thirtyeigh. You can bring those guys yeah, because the game and Scottle you guys all testof this. The game isn't starting pitching anymore. The Games BOT PATBULL PAN TA, the every doal Seyoher last couple yearsyea picked up to guysfor the Bull Pan exactly so. If you have to. If you have to go and say allright, I need a Jaryead at thirty five. To get me through five inutes and thenI'm going to throw it to my bullpen right, but you have the offense thatcan batsh right if you' Gon to win like that, then Wen. Like that sure I meanthe phillies when they were in their run, tatshed a lot of TES Yeah Bu. Theydidn't have the greatest pitching staff in the world. Yes, tha, Jamye, Moorethrown fifty yeah, I mean like it's Joe Blan is not like Thertersna team atWinsth, the World Serie, but you could get it by like theforty four, whateverHe Hada guy like that that, if you that, if you put them in the right positionand you have an offense, he can come out and not feel like. I got to beperfect today because if you look at the offense nail, a guy like nola comesout and he goes, I'm probably goingnt have to be perfect today, we're damnnear it because we're going to score two or three on Righ rigt. If I saylisten, we're going to it's a lot to throw up at least six runs againe just gro, so scottas O go SA. I pictureGAM, go FITC your game for Sinand, we'll bring the bullpen in fograss, andthat's why Mo were was so successful. Bret Myers, Wasnin, the greatest picterJoe Point wasn't the greatest pitch: They Ha Amels, an r plain just sitshome runs in he world series Ae and he was a. He was a type of guy that justgives up. Eight rock is o. You get a God. It could just hit his spots yeahand I'm like. Listen. You hite your spots. You do your thing: We're goingto Scuore Sixon on the game who, as one of the best festures AF, we watchedwith the land of Raves madics Madex alls, he did was Picke Cono, Arry, IDN,oerpower him an spalts Yep all smalls had power, but madox was just corner, corner cornerand say: Adaoffense Tivn, you couldn't touch it anado great. There were someonpires whou gave them three inches out or four no lisson Bo when you're apicturn hes accurate. When he's that accurate, I would give thim that StrifoPo himself to Olis I empty my bull. I empty my parm system right now fortrout, Lik. If I don't well, if I don't get Harper and after Tho, you havewinter meetings, I grab heavy at their troup yeah, but you got Ta sign, Harperor Merchado, because the president of your team already cameout and said we are spending money, we're going to spend it Fullshi yeah, not too plulshy, but wers sit. So if you walk away with the winner meanings, not with them to it's bad, bad, all season all right, so here we go beforebreak. I want to go to EAC. Twenty is who do we come aut at the end ofDecember? What who's the key piece we came out ofthis winter with I think we have tes. We have the better chance of gettingBrice Harper the lesser chance of getting Machato, and I think that's the way it's goingto play out the chances of is getting both. I would have to put onter twentypercent. What do you think? I'm thinking harpers parpers going to be afhilly Yay? I think e Tel O. Shame thing. Yeah definitely hardfer Ihave aquick question if they only got mychado, which I don't think 's going to happen,do you think that would be enough to fill up that stadium, yeah yeah yeah, because you know why ecause then they're going to use the money you goafter a pithure Oay, you got cluber from Cleveland out there. You GotPLIKOFOR Houston still out there. So if you going to get Machato and not Harper, then you go auter. Your short and Fitch, an go! Aut, ther cluber or you go afterPike, Okay and break them. They're, going to still got Miller out thereas areliever from the Indians and bring Millerin is your seven, eight guy, ah Youre God they're going to fill upthe stadium to go boomanchado when he doesn't run out the that is whe eashygot. He nly way he's going to fill up that now you put a hopper in there yeahthey're, going to get Oh meep down head Harper's, it's Carbur aroud and thenyeah a the most reckond yeah, but same like you get trout. You got a fullhouse every night. No, I was just saying in general, like trout, Harperlike casual baseball fan besides, like whatever team they root for, don'tthink they can name another player yeah. I don't think Machado gets the casualfans to go down. THAT'S THE ELTHER! Who will that's what I was the other twowill, but I don't think Machado will okay and he's not going to play? Wellhe her if he keeps that mentality yeah. Obviously you want to win more, butthat same was empty Majoryo yeah yeah, like you, would like to see atlease theannounced that Tenis was around Twentyhsano every night, but there'sAllyo lucky if you Havtki. Well, that's sales, that's not ye, but you know whatthey even hung in the race for how long...

Exactl, up until these they were gliethat was Ra. They were in first or second placeexactly and hey still couldn't sel out into it tol in August they were firstor Secondeah, but they had no Marqui guys nope and I don't think they. Idon't think anyone believed in that team or bought what they were selling.I really don't. They were just waiting for to house O cars to collapse. I askdthat tnately. It did because I don't think there was a name for people tograb onto possible. That's it yeah, but I mean yeah. You had the slump in thebeginning, er at so I guess. Peoe are left field, yeah, worried about moreplaying left field and wor bout. Is I fake that really affecic the biggestthing with the phillies last year? There was no reason to go out and getGarlo SA Antaty. You didn't need a first base, no, but they just Sol thebat they figure. He was going to hit thirty five here sure yeah, but you'regetting an Amarce League guy coming in National League. It happens every year. You see it all the time and free agent, an American League Ball player does notsit well in the National League for some reason he need that year to adjustCarlos is going to you. Watch he's GOIN NA have a fatter year with Seattle, because he's back in the America Lee. If they keep they're already showit ereshopinbut, they can put him into DH rollers contable. Ho Don't need to playfor h. He really wasn't a good first baseon Clevelan ar here hol be a Yankee. How munt you want to back because they're looking for a first basement ifthey yeathey bve somebody atten trade deadline to make that Ongo be aPressureeton in a winner, meaning Sec. o Eve won how many games les year te aErn Ai Yeah and they still lost the division by Double Digets Yeah Yeah, OBoston. On a hundred and some they were. I you know SA E re. They wereoverwhelming like the entire set ye. Yes, but I have feln we're going towalk away with Harper, because I think Machato is going to go to the Yankeesbecause they really need a short stop and then wern, good dd. Gorius comesback, don't move him! The third yeah Machada Iti ar broken spoken into theintetie Thursday Serin allright. We're going to take our last break. We'regoing to let us cok get back to bar tending thank you. Guy, we're going towe're going to track down. Jasans can get him to come up here and an give usa little information on the event before we ran back on them like for alittle while riht listen to two hunand. Five Live Santa Boo first from wildfire,RADIOCOM welcome back to the second annual beefand beer to benefit ar veterans coming. You live from the Parkwood YouthOrganization were wrapping up our last segment here before we finish up, I gotthe the man behind all this. The man to putall this together as it has this all run in the way it is Mr j Shensky j.How are you om? Well, Oi, you good. So this is your second year doing this plast year was a really good event. Ibelieve you, you hit the mark that you were hoping to hit last year what let'sjust start real, quick by saying. Why is it that you put this event together? Why this is the second time you're doing it? Oh first, I got to put outthe the credit to two others: Jamie Miznick and Doll Moser. I kind of dothis by myself. You know both of them. We kind of all pour on weigt with this, and I think the reasoning for me doing this.I've been in military for twenty thre years. I've seen the good size and I seen thebad size of what happens with you going to empoyment. I see the less fortunate guys cominghome, where, whether the struggle with PTSD or physical injuries and or toguys that become homeless, and they ha, they have nothing to fall back. Orn, sometimes V doesn't work. The wayopposed to so right now is local. I would love tobranch out and be a lot bigger. You know and help more people. Last year we waisesix grand for the guys up on Southhampton road, and this year wepickd two different locations. One's Betroor besttey take some guys inoff the street, give en place to live, resume, build, put them up, and youknow line them up with jars and they put them in apartments and then kind ofpush them back into society. You know and geting the encouragement where they can. They can make this work. The other playecs is open arms to AF, Nice townon Kensinson. A I actually storved the warrnt there. I work for the PoliceDepartment and they had better and stuff paying over to place, and I seenthe conditions, Doun ther and it's bad. I mean Brown mattresses and that's badcondition, so I taught the guy down there. He told me was a hundred percentthat it's not, but there are some guys that down there that are vets and we'rejust trying to improve the conditions. Whether we can how mattresses, blankets, pillows cops anything that we can do to help them out. They gave up there. You know their time and sacrifice. You know tohelp us, as at least I can do, is put a couple bucks together and you know getthem what they need Nice. So you are you looking to, and I know you justmentioned it, but are you looking to maybe? As y you know, this is still init's empaty stages. This is only the second year you're doing it, but you'relooking to maybe combine up with maybe some other peoplethat are doing the same thing and a make this more of a grand scale. Kindof thing. Sure we're trying to grow. You know we hade the Guy Jake frombechrer Beth he's going to come and...

...meet with bill. Moser and Jamie music shoot some ideas at each other, maybemake this into where we have our own tax ID number. We come our ownorganization. We want this to be a hundred percentwhere the money goes to the people that needit we coan use some experience of otherpeople to help. You know that already have it Wordan achis going mission, barbecue manager, she kelped us out, says heyall these different plans. I got all kinds of people I coul put in touchwith, so you know we definitely want to branch out become bigger, help morepeople, but it's babysteps. You knowwe're, just re got to Parkwood yeah.Mostly we wanted to get guys that vets that we know to come up and Roa justhang out and drink and make a little money for the guys at the local rightand it just it's Gett little bigger than we expect it, which is good. Imean it's good, for you know the people theres money going to go towards soyeah, I agread and then and last year we were here. We were fortunate enoughto come out and do the do the broadcast last hear we had a couple more peoplehere. We did a couple different shows and it's nice to see. Like you know, sometimes you have a hard time. You see it just like everybody else. When youtry to put these events together, you know I talke to Ja before the show youjust you're kind of hoping, because when you first put this out, you hearfrom ten fifteen people, Yeah Yeah, I love the common and you get nervousbecause everybody says that when it comes to events like that so to see youknow like last year, at every table was filled. You know they had the honorguards here and the young lady to come to Shings I national Antom, it's areally great time and- and I think from being a preoud member to plicedepartment as well. I go in and added these these shelters and you know thethe soup kitchens and all these other things that they have, and it really isdeplorable conditions. Heyyo really are I mean they got. These guys stack twoand three high on top of each other, because there's just nowhere else toput them. You know and like Jay said, unfortunately, they're suffering for somany different things. That's all they know is those conditionso to be able to throw, even just like you mentioned three guys in Parkwod, but Threo guys from Park we getting together and throwing an event likethis. It's just it's needed. You know e N, it's greatlyneeded, so we're hoping that yeah it does take off, and hopefully we can beinvolved and trying to get this thing. You know bigger and better every year.I think I think what you're doing is is a great thing J. I really do, and youknow that's why we enjoy coming out here and Voluntarig ar time, becauseit's needed. I think it's great. What you're doing because you're helping putthe word out, you know, tell him ever wech thousands or you know how manypeople listen, O your podcast million Nillion, the hundred o millions. Youknow y Yo Listn, we do rock man, I'm I end up a small the ar right now. WEL AJOS say like two point: five million lissons this year, so there's elypeople listener. So anybody to helse put the word out. You know I shared nofacebook. I can only REAC OT W only alows you reach five hundred people andthenother people share wans a Pettn Loik, a thousand people. No, and it doesn't matter. Two hundredpeople show up that S, that's fantastic! You know, but mission barbecue. Theywant to be on board Bu by spreading the word te Bitalian commander from themilitary. He found out what I was doing. He Wante to put the word out to all theother units. So little by little. I think you know each year maybe ther's tos ot in Mak.You know. Maybe you know, I don't maybe become an organizationwhere we we have a house where we could take people in hoth the street o Tiswey.I don't know we have a lot of ideas that we throw at each other, some of itsoly someof is great. You Knou, but, like I said well just redoc fromParkwood, that's Al. We ar just tree do someparks, er we're not and any different from anybody else, sitting out hereright now and we're just trying so we'll see. Wheregoes? It's a certainly a commendable thing that youdo here. There's no doubt- and I enjoy doing this and it's for a great call and for a greatbenefit, but it would be great if, because it inmy mind, there are certain professions that should never have to worry aboutthings and military is one of them top. I list yeah if you're willing to put your life, you know, along with being acop, in jeopardy, your physical, well being in jeopardy and willing to give the ultimate sacrifice for thecountry. The country in return should be willing to make that same sacrificein return. Fr To you and take care of you when you come back from adeployment it's, but you know, especially whenyou're coming back with these different physical aiments mental ailments, whatever the case may be, a veteran should not have to worry about where'smy next meal. Coming from how am I going to get help for this? This thingthat I came back with it. I can't explain I I can't understand whathappened to me overtha. I think the funny thing is we. I don't want to sayit's funny, but lot of Hese veterans. They have such pride. They don't wantto hand out they don't want Tho help an I I could do somnso survive on knowthey had the Subibl tactis already built into them and where I can make iton the street and do better than have to worry about the VA, and you know:Hey here's a Hanffulo pills, because you know we don't like you know the WaiYon Talk D and- and I certainly get that I get- that- that...

...mental aspect of the O Kn W, not that I was ever inthe military, but I get. I understand I've certainly talk to enough peoplethat are in the military. Read Things Watch things that t e. They have thatmentality about them. I get that. I understand that, but you hope at somepoint if somebody recognizes that they'resuffering from something that they are able to get through to them or theyrecognize it on their own and are able to right, say I need help. You knowagree and- and it's great what we're doing here, what you're doing here withJaand, if doing here and it's Itd be nice. If the government wouldn'twould make these kinds of things unnecessary, Tran just take care ofpeople. Sure I think, probably now the population agrees with you, where itshould be a lot easier for these guys o be Tankin care. Unfortunately, it's notit's not the reality. I agree: Yeah Youre the Jump Tho hoops that Yo youknow see e Yeah beureaucracy is Appaitin theas. I got hurt in Irack anno seven o eight and my back still jacked up and I haven'theard from the Va. I want to say at least two years wow at least two years. They used to send letters here, and here you know- maybe I want to sayevery six months, but it's been two years now: Luk, so Somthis, brop yeah, you know- and I know trunk came and he said he's going to fix things because Iwas broken before him and I know they fired a lot of people, but firingpeople also has a Dounfal too BCAUSD. Now you got one person time to do threepeople chap sure sure so til they get people in the in the places there, andI do yo start doing the right things by these guys. I guess it's the same OleSima, l right. So listen we're going to wrapup here. I do. I do want to say Jay. I appreciate your you know putting ustogether you and bill and Jamie. I do want to tell you, even though we arecoworkers. I do appreciate your service to the city of Philadelphia. Iappreciate your service to this country you're. One of the reasons why this oneof these things is necessary. We appreciate you have an IC out hereand do I appreciate you guys being don't hesitate now going forward? Ifthis thing does turn out wildfire will be there okay to get the word out. HOWRyeuneed us to get the word out we're here for it.
