This is a football show, but we're not going to talk about the Patriots being cheaters. Plus, they're done, so good for them. US. We know their shooters. You know they're cheaters. Hashtag facts and they they got off much easier than the Astros. Yes, the right. So let's let's get into it. Astros, sign steely. Are we done? Are we going to see more people taking hits. Yeah, I think so. I'm surprised no players have gotten anything yet. That's all coming out now. If you yeah, I think give a time in that will so altov. He's the one that everybody keeps pointing to. That you know. You see that, that celebration after he...

...hit the Dinger in game six, right, and leave this finger. Yep, all know. I'm holding it. And then did you see the interview afterwards? And he runs, he runs up the tunnel. Uh Huh. Yeah, then it comes back to interview. If there was a little sketchy to yeah, yeah, Ken Rosenthals. And how do you take your shirt off? Right, that's one of the your he's done that a few times. Yes, yeah, my wife whone like it. Yeah, she told me last time. Did you see the still shot? I think of I think it was Josh Reddick and he's holding his kid in his right arm. Yeah, it has. Yeah, I see. You can see the wire. That's confetus. Yet he that's what they said has. He has his uniform shirt off and he's just got his tank, tank top one and you see the wire of the eight Tis to his chest. There's a piece of take. And then they got something like a great arsne like this, and then this, and then there's something right there, little a little bulge right there, and it's wire, a one side wire on the other seat, the piece that looks like tape. They're saying it's confetti from celebrations, but is what the so what is the this the snaky thing, look at looking like on his chest here. I'm gonna Bring some movie into it. Do you remember casino? Uh Huh? Yeah, when they brought the guy in and they had two things happen on his leg, and that's what that could be. Yeah, now it is. You know what I mean? I think fably believe it is, and that's what they say it was. It was the it was a buzzer. Yeah, and they would buzz on their chest, you know, whatever pitch was common. First they were banging the trash can, yes, and that must have turn some people on. The went, why the hell he keep packing trash cans? Yeah, and so then they get the buzzers, apparently. But the MLB, they did their investigation. They see no sign of anybody using any type of devices. I guess the signal still shot today. Have Their Eyes Open? Yeah, really, they got off so easy. To. They should. I I think they should get the championship. Well, they were talking about that on the radio this week and they said the team hands out the ring. The League it doesn't hand out the ring. So that's not going to do anything. Take away the right, I mean the you can take away the trophy, the that's why I'm saying leak should have took the trophy away from yeah, they said the two thousand and seventeen should not be Houston Asher's world series chape, and you make up take the pennant down from the stadium and then you got to give it to the dodgers and then he's a thinkings right, they beat the Yankees to you give it or you just vacated. I'll think you vacate it. Isn't that. It's happened before. Right, never, never, had I thought about the likes. The white sox. Weren't that White Sox? And now they didn't give it. Know, because the white sox ended up losing that series. Yeah, they don't. They were paid to loose where they were favorite? Yeah, they were. They were heavy, heavily favored in that series. But even like shoeless Joe Jackson, who got bounced he's still bad at almost from a hundred right. He had to hear. He had a great series. He had no errors in the field, zero errors in the field, and batted like three hundred and ninety. So I mean the problem with him was he was damn, they are illiterate and it just tall sock. Put One, put your mark on this piece of paper. He dead. He made up paint. Put Your name. You hear, you'll get paid. Yeah, he made up for it in the field of dreams. You had a good performance. And I feel not to get off track when I feel so bad for shureless Joe Jackson, because I still don't think he's in the in the hall of fame. Do not. He shouldn't been, and that's the thing. Now, Pete Rose is a lifetime then and now you look at this stuff. That that what's not about. That is the commissioner who banned him for a life has been dead for like twenty years, least death more, and he's he's not in the heat. I think he should be in the hall fing he's a total dirt ball of a human being. Putting I think for what he did on the field, he should be the whole fame he has trouble, he gets right to the edge, yeah, where it sounds like they're getting ready to mend the fans, they're going to bring him in, and then he makes a statement and say come on, you just gotta keep your mouth you at another bump and you might have got in. You might have got it. They finally man must be ten twelve years ago, they finally let him start attending red ball events all start. He was the Allstar gaming came back at the to let him on the field right and since and night. For the longest time he wasn't allowed to do that. And I mean the dude sets up shop every weekend for a whole of fame induction ceremony, sets up shot like two blocks down with a table and makes people pay for us and the line is long to get his autograph. He's all a famer. I was in there or not right? He absolutely is. Mey Miilo went through to see him last year. He was at the Doylstown Book Club. He taught us for like five minutes with my loow son Max. He was cool, super cool. taught like fought literally five minutes talk to us and there was probably a hundred and fifty people behind us. Well, and like as we watched, he did not talk to he talked everybody. Hey, how you don't with your hand? Yeah, if they wanted to pick, he you know, he let him take the pick. You thought you're going a pick on a game or something. He might have lock into my fandel who you got today.

Red's playing to night. But yeah, he but he was. He was super cool to us. I mean, you know, I couldn't say he was. He was. He was awesome. He's probably the best ball player whatever sport that I've ever met and talk to. was probably the nicest. You know. Yeah, well, Berkeley was brought Berkeley was the best, but that was because we were drinking. So I'll tell you that's not of these. I met him a few times. I can say I work. It was never pretty. Now it was awesome. I could tell you that story, but we'll go off without it. was. It was never pretty on my end because I was hitting that stuff. I'll tell you to some sure Barkley wasn't. Now he doesn't drink at all. Yeah, I always like so. I like to say I was almost the first persony through a window. I don't know, I can't. I came that close. I wish Nice. We'll have to do the show maybe on the encounters with sports. Yeah, yeah, Rand told his Payton Manning one before. That was pretty good, and we'll get the we'll get the Berkeley stories in here. Say we got nothing but GM's and managers that lost their job so far. Right. So the GM and the manager for the Houston they both were suspended for the year and then the owner just said Hell, a dish gone. Yeah, as core, then I've the course step down or Boston should sally part of to. I thought that's what they said, but Beltran, that means that they got fired. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's that's there. Say we're going to fire yeah, yeah, while you're to give you ten minutes to think about it and then go to a press conference to say better for the team. It's kind of it's kind of like getting caught stealing at work and you have an a pension and saying ye, have two choices. Yeah, we can fire you, were take your pen like the pension. Yeah, that's kind of what happened here. I feel like it's all linked back to Beltron to he started in Houston, right. Yeah, him and Cora. Yeah, and it's although those are the guys that started to yeah, yeah, and Houston, and that's all Ik that to them. The Red Sox are they're actually going to get banged to for fines and stuff that just hasn't been done yet, because they were doing an eighteen in Boston, hundred percent, because cors just brought what they were doing from in Houston to Boston. Yeah, so they're going to get cry. Here's the thing. The five million dollar fine for them is chump change. Yeah, that's that's like finally fifty bucks, okay to them. What's going to kill him is the for draft picks, because that's twenty. That's your first round, second round, twenty, one, first and second. That's for draft picks. Out of those four, you you got to say two of them are going to make your major league team. Out of those four, pat the way those teams draft, right, they're pretty good, you know what I mean, getting prospects. Two of them are going to be major leaguers, no doubt. So there's two players on your team that you're going to have paying him little money, which is, you know, yeah, the Grand Scheme of sports today. That's what it's all about. You know what I mean even your own young quarterbacks. You want to win in them first five years when you're not paying your quarterback anything, right, because now you know you got we're paying whence prevailing wage, DAC and getting the cowboys and wants his prevailing age here. What was judge getting half a million leaguers like that? You know it's you take them the arbitration and yeah, you got one more year of paying him below market. Yeah, and then, yeah, I mean look a, look a movie. Mookie beats twenty seven million. Yeah, that's what he got for Arb Atration, or one, one year. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's good to be a pro athlete. Yeah, it is. HMM. And my whole got feeling on this is it was because it was so sophisticated of a system. It's organizational. Yeah, it did. Had I don't know if it goes off to the your I thought it goes up to the owner. Definitely knew about it. He may have known about it, but it's definitely front off as people are involved, not just manager and players. I'm not sure about that owner. So I feel like baseball owners aren't is involved as like football, right, basketball, right, maybe not even baseball. I feel like the sports like baseball. It's a long season. That owner really in there every day and see what you're going you hear? I we need some more monitors. Why you asking me? But it go to the GM man's Kim, go to go to the front office. People don't come to me about that. You know, if it's if it's over x amount of dollars, I'll sign off on it. Otherwise, spend it. You need to make my team better. I'm going to go do whatever I do, make it my real money. And most of them guys all have businesses. Yeah, that's what the team that they own is more of a you know, they're fun, a hobby. Yeah, I mean, you know, billion dollar hobby, most of them. But you know, I mean it's it's Rangers. It is what it is. I'm going to go off do my wheel stuff right and pay attention to that. And you need some money, let me know. If it's more than ten million dollars, hit me out. Let me know. Anything under ten million dollars, go ahead, carp blonch. You guys can do whatever you need. But that's the part that's going to hurt the astros. Yeah, yeah, because, yeah, springer, he just hit...

...he's arbitration now. They signed with him, but you know, Alto of a you know they're going to have they're gonna have to start figuring out their money situation. So and and one of my questions is, so they're the only ones that lost their GM, right, yeah, and we're still in free agency for baseball. Absolutely. So how is that going to affect these teams in this offseason? Or if he got to bring in a new GM who doesn't really know the owner, doesn't know the way the team and how you want it to be run, I'm sure you can go get some retread somewhere that has done this before and you bring them in. And is he going to be an interim guy or are you doing a full due diligence for a GM for here on out, because you're not bringing the other guy back next year? You know, bring engeback next year. And don't forget they fired their assistant general manager after the world series. About that whole thing with the that's right, with the OTASUNA. Yeah, yeah, Na to the the girls. Yeah, it's right. Right. So they fired your assistant GM. Yes, you have an October or November whatever, and now those two are gone. So it's kind of like, you know, and they have and they have probably them and the Yankees have the best analytical situation. You know, there were basically the starter of the analytical and that the game. So you know where you at with that. I mean, because if that's how your whole organizations run from top to bottom, from single a and you know, blow single a to the majors, you need somebody who can just keep that ball rolling. But he had do one of those guys get promoted? Whoever was the head of their analytics team, they could promote it the GM. We got it. Now you gotta have it. Well, I mean because you then you look at a CRINTAC right, he was right. You're bringing it a guy like Crintacler, even the kid that's the red sox GM. He's young. Theo. No, no, he'd he's from the rays, something bad, bend shot something h I forget how you say his name. He's a young kid that. But so I feel like now you got to question these guys talents. Well, I still think like out too, like all the guys that were involved, like Alto, a Redick, brightman. I feel like these correa, I think, was involved to I think they're all still really talented. Yeah, but you question now, how much was it the cheating and how much is it just that they're just good at baseball player to I write. Did I see that? Like they got two bays, like slugging percentage? Yeah, all them there who had hello is like is insane. It's really good. On the road it's like under five hundred. Yeah, yeah, it's ridiculous. Yeah, but you can put that in the sixers's yeah, there. You know, we're nineteen. Was What are we come twenty, twenty one into at home and like seven and fourteen on the road. And Right, we cheating on the road. Are we not cheating on the road? I don't know. This team, this teep, not cheat. We're going to talk about this team, but I do it this TV chat. They try, they try. Last night, six guys on the court. Yeah, we quirky got us today, taking away problem without here's the thing. Cheating's been going on in baseball from day one. Okay, cheating being you're stealing signs. Stealing signs, as you know, DG, we've coached together baseball. You know that's the whole thing. You're trying to steal the sign okay, but the problem is using technology to do it. That's the issue here. Yeah, and a story I had to debate with this dude on facebook with it. I just I just stopped because it's like it don't tell me. Technologies here to stay and that's it. It's that's not what is the game is supposed to be. You're supposed to be able to look at the guy on third base and determine what the steel sign is or what to take sign is or, you know, hit and run, whatever it is. You're supposed to look at that and try to figure it out, not have a camera pointed at the catcher. So when he's putting down the number one, you know, the fastball is common. Yeah, that's that's different. It's I remember growing up playing baseball, when I remember playing for you guys and other teams, we'd always tell our catcher. We'd be like go, when the coach, you know, swipes his chester, song usually a kids going. So, yeah, just look. I mean it's been going on forever. Anybody says differently, just lyne to themselves and they probably did it when they play to if they really be oh yeah, and everyone's done it. It's part of the game. Like you said, it's the gamesmanship. If you can figure out my signals, yeah, more power to you. Yeah, I got to be smarter and start switching them up more. Exactly. Once you bring in cameras, Yep, and you bring in Divi Paces, like like the Patriots. Yeah, exactly. Once you start doing that, then you're and you're crossing the line. There's baseball is a sport of a bunch of unwritten rules, which I don't necessarily like all those unwritten roles of them, but it's baseball. Get with it. No, steal him when you're up by ten. Why not? I not even know they're base you're getting plunked the night. Yeah, you know, polices. It's the risk you take. It polices itself. But yeah, the sign stealings gone on since the beginning of time with baseball. Yeah, that that's why the third basement is flashing fifteen signs. Only one or two things mean something, but he's got a disguise it, he's got a Camo it, because eventually the other teams going to...

...catch on as to what what it means and they might change signs from maybe not any to any. But, like you know, the fourth thinging. Okay, this is the steel sign now it's no longer whatever it was. And you know, if you watch the Catcher, His giving signs to the picture when there's a man on second is completely different from when there's nobody on base. Yep, and and I I always find that entertaining when a zero win on a catcher's face while he's given sign or before he actually, before he starts giving signs, he's looking up at the bat and say to save the batters looking down. Yeah, because that's what baseball does. You steal signs. I remember your son Anthony telling me when they when he was playing at Ryan. He said they're steel system was each part of their body. May they did it by points. So if the points added up to a five, then you steal. So you know in arm was worth two points. We touch arm, it's worth two points. Touch your nose, it's worth one. So if it added up to a certain amount, whatever the point was for stealing, then you went. I see math weather on basic se that Jim US Ryan guys were practicing outside of the class from you have to track that, that point system in your mind as he's flashing the sign, which is too much yeah, right, that a little to my is it is? I don't know, is it? You gotta pay take. Well, from what I remember, Ryan, baseball was not very kid when I was thinking, maybe able in a much well, left arm, like you keep it visitting. Yeah, it's said your body point touch this. You think that is what it is. Is You can give the same sign over and over, but it might mean something completely down from pitch to pitch, because are not adding I remember when I played, when I played a park, when we had Jerry. He came over and he was our catcher and he implemented that system on our team. Like we had like the point, like the and you know what was his name? Yayk oh act. Okay, I'm thinking of the other guy, coach front freshman, Bawl Ryan, not, not Whitch, Oh my God, Bonda Bando. Yeah, yeah, Joe Bonda Bonda is good. Yeah, but yeah, he, he, we had that tune. I mean you get practice with it, yeah, get the hang of it, but it it just I could understand why it's a little do you want to see? You want to see or hear a perfect steel sign? If I touch skin, so I can do anything. Yeah, hat cross the chest, down the leg, anything, but if I don't touch skin. That was our steel sign room for a Liberty Bell. Would Hoffman. We you know, sometimes we would just do skin. So be you know, I could do anything, and I was a third base coach, so I could do anything. All right, down my legs, both legs, cross my chest, down my arm, if I didn't touch skin, it I mean nothing. So that was our thing. So you know. And then sometimes we'd flip it and be like, you know, okay, if I don't touch skin, so I'll be me. Go up my nose, my ear, you know, my chin, Palm, you know what I mean. Anything. So it is what it is. I mean, you know, you're old. We would literally have someone staring at the third base coach from jump first batter. We'd have somebody staring to figure out what the sign was. Yeah, everything. That's again part of the game. If you're not doing that, then yeah, you're not trying. Trying. Yeah, and how do you feel about how he came out? But that pear? Now, well, how could that's what I didn't hear count. Did it come out some about a burner, like some somebody suppose a burner count. Now they're now they're contemplating is it was that an ex player? I thought it was burner. I can't thought those. WELLWAYS fears, who? Yeah, well, that's where it really snowballed. Okay, that's where it really snowball but it really started with like but they now consider it being a burn count and now beltron's Nice, right, beltrner out, tuove's someone's knees. Think it was Beltran, beltrons, because you got fired. So they were pissed off about it. came out and said more about the players, like the buzzing and all. Yeah, they're a meet. tweeted about it. I didn't see. Ye, go look at that. That's up there too. So is add another unwritten rule. If I go from Houston, I wanted a championship with Houston in two thousand and seventeen stealing signs. Now I'm I don't even know what team fears is with now. That's weak. I'm two teams away. It's what you have a problem with? That him? Yeah, now blowing the whistle. Yeah, you should shut your mouth. Keep the closed. You should shut your mouth. That's what. If the sillies were in that world series, though, and that happened like the Eagles with the Patriots videotape and practice absolutely during a super bowl week. Let's pull I mean yet to this day, I mean we're all sit here, will tell you bull shit. Where if yeah, still pissed about yeah, maybe we should have had that. But I'm saying, you know what, if it phillies are in that world series and they got cheated on, like, I gonna feel any different that I would do now if it was the phillies in seventeen and you know, and Oh...

...for with the eagles with the traits, I feel it. I feel like I got, you know, jam J probbed. But but the thing is the player should never have said anything. That's yeah, it's not. That's that's an unwritten rule rule. Maybe he dead in the last your tire. So how would it come out? Who who comes out asn't come out. Well, and then now that's you're here about. Mcdal. Member, Jack mcdal. Yes, I did hear that. Yeah, he now he's running his mouth saying that Tony Larussa put in a system when Larussa was the Chicago White sox manager back in the late s now here's the thing. The Guy Jack mcdal was Larussa wasn't there when Jack mcdal pitch for them. It was like a year or two afterwards. But he's saying that the system was in place from Larussa and it was a pretty interesting thing that they had set up. Yeah, well, what was their system? Same thing with a camera gate the gator rate. They he said they had a gatorade signed out right center. That's a and there was a switch in the manager's office, h something like that, a taggle switch in the manager's office, and they would flip the switch and it and it. Something happened with the gatorade. Sorry. And that's how they got there. The battle way to get their signal. They would they would not. He was a fastball. Yeah, Huh, that's crazy. Yeah, I mean, I'm going to say something. You guys might look at me like I'm absolutely out of my skull. This is just like steroids. I was just going to ask you what's worse. Okay, it's just like it. Because here's the thing with bonds. Bonds the hall of Famer. Okay, let's get that out of the way. This whole thing just because and and McGuire, just because they're hopped up on Royd's doesn't mean they're only hitting the ball farther. That's it. It's they still had hittball. Steroids does not help. You look at a ball, see it and hit it and that's as easy as well. It doesn't help that. I thought you get these help vision. No, that's adderall taking at all in your focus. Not, that's well, and that's why choot. Yeah, and it was. It was legal as on as you had a prescription for correct. You don't have a prescription for it that you want to allow to use it. Yeah, the problem, which doesn't make sense, the problem with that decause they can go get at all right. Now, I wanted sure there was. There was, like the general public takes. I think it's under ten percent of at all. Right, general public in baseball. At one time there was like thirty five percent of baseball players on at all. So is that the Greenies, that the Phillies, that Schmidi and bout take it back in the S, right, and that's well documented. That's well doc yes, it is. Yes, that big bowls a yeah, a locker. Yeah, that's like the occupiers with suit to fit. Yeah, players a pop suit of fed. Just clear of them out Yep, and get them some little little hyped up rise up. Yeah, and it, and it, and they can breathe, but breathe knowing salts to which is huge. I mean that's you know, breathing's huge. Im I'm at least my take on steroids is different, because I think it's excuse the numbers for the players that are using it against the players that choose not to use it. And I historical numbers are also Scoo Dude, because do we? Do we think Barry Bonds is going to hit seven hundred plus home runs if he doesn't start juice it up? Maybe not seven hundred. No, I'm not sure. If Fam I'm not sure. That I don't argue with because he was a hall of Famer before he started doing it. Yet he had seven really good seasons, great seasons in Pittsburgh where he came up as a skinny center fielder, and Bobby Bow and I looked at this. I looked at his numbers. His seven seasons with with with Pittsburgh, he never hit more than I think it was thirty four home runs. His first year in San Francisco he hit forty six. That's later are out there. Yaha, Nice. It's not park. Yeah, now that I by the same versus up down the line in San Francisco is like three hundred and nine. So that that I'll give you a splash. Yeah, but I mean Barry Bonds, I don't think hits I'm not sure if he hits six hundred, let alone seven hundred. He might not even hit five hundred if he stays the way he was when he came up with Pittsburgh. Didn't he win an MVP? He won three of them Pittsburgh. No, I don't think he won one in Pittsbury. On seven, brother seven, he wants seven, seven mvps. Where were you at? I didn't know. Is that many? Yeah, I know he's right. I forgot it was that man. But I don't think he's hold to walk that many home runs if he's not juiced up. And that's where I don't agree with it, because because the the Sammy Sosa and mark McGuire hit that many home runs if they're not. You stopped. Now, Sammy. So not only was he just up, yeah, Corky, so he was. He was double dipping in the in the cheating way. But that's where I and and I'm not even getting into the health factors with steroids. But I think that's where steroids shouldn't...

...be allowed. And if you're going to allow them, or if you're going to turn a blind eye to them, I think you should. You need to keep separate stats for guys that are doing a verse. How many guys? We go, we go and assarty. Yeah, how many? How many? All separate book. How many guys took steroids throwing are error? Right, and it didn't sible. Did it terminal? I mean no, in there's it didn't. He probably twenty five home runs and one year he hit fifty plus, but that his body. But was got on it all the year. I played fantasy baseball in the days. That's right. Adam forty. Yeah, I so what you're saying. When does that start? One thousand nine hundred and ninety ish. Ninety three ISH is is the post a? Yeah, dike, strong known steroid are yeah, probably probably the early S. look at Diaster's year, ninety three. I mean like the calm is true saying like very bonds was good before the steroids. Mark McGuire from minor singing, he was good before you. Yes, he was a back Sammy here, Sam he was rocking, but he wants to go sixty plus homes. And how many guys that were just, you know, average players then got on the steroids like radiator and didn't even do anything like like liebre thought or did like like I'm Mike Leeverthall. Come on, what's that? Who's the got it? Got Off on a technicality, but everybody knew he was doing steroids. But he got off on a technical David Bell, I'm in the noos so used to call. Don't know, I don't know. Did he play for a Milwaukee at the time? Ryan Braun? Yes, Ryan Braun. Yeah, like it wasn't like during the steroid ever, all these guys were just hitting for five and fifty home rons. Yes, there were still fairy per sayers. Thirty percent the League was on the steroid. Yeah, only maybe five of them are actually you could tell. Yeah, so bonds McGuire. So saying those are the guy. Lot of guys took these steroids but didn't play well with them. Is what I'm trying to get at. You know, and if you take it back even now, bringing it back to the eagles and lane, like some of these guys do it, when you first come into the League to get to that competitive point, to get that where you don't I need to be here to stay in this league. Once they make their name or once they get caught, there's like all art shit. I gotta do what I need to do better stay at that level. Sixty percent of all professional athletes. Maybe, maybe not six percent. That's hi. Yeah, maybe like forty. Yeah, I bet they've all taken a steroid at some point in their career. Didn't? Mike smy Admit he would take them if he, if he, if they were around in his day. Yeah, he did. Hey, you have. I feel like you had have to. We said you want to perform at that level, that high of a level, for a good amount of time. So I feel like you got it to stay up with their sea. There's there's a guy right there, Mike Schmidt. He had. He freely admits he would have taken them if they were available. And as day probably yes, said, he still ended up the greatest third basement of all time. Yep, five hundred, forty eight. Yeah, I don't know. I mean I feel like they've all taken Servoye from some point, whether it's started in high school or they started out in the pros. I feel like you have to if you want to keep up with the game. I'm looking for something I had. I saw something on facebook and it had about bonds. That's why I'm that's why I'm furiously passed this because I'm trying to find it. I think to me, the steroids and the sign stealing are you still need to be and this was kind of the point you're making Frat, that if you know a hundred mile power facebooks coming, all right, you have a bit of an advantage, but you still need to hit it. Do you still need to get your bat around? You still need to eye that ball coming in. But what's worse? What's scandals worse? That's why I was going to go. So I don't which one harms the game more. I would think he's seating, though. I think the sign stealing is where. Yeah, cheating's bad, it's way worse. Yeah, they how they say were, but when you got exempting, we're accepting cheating up to a certain point. That's what I'm saying. When you got to use technology, that's bags. When you cross with Lonnie going into the technology angle, yeah, that's unacceptable. But cheating the way they were doing it back in the s. We can all live with that. Yeah, so you say cheating is worse, but you have to all want to far right. Yeah, what we're saying is to say you would have the act on that to saying the actually really tags is certain level. What he ashures did in that world series is and alcs last year. Yeah, is worse than what happened in the steroid. Yeah. Well, I think, I think when you I don't know, I think when you throw into health, that the damage your health takes. That might be because that's a perfect kind personal way the card one player. That the exactly right. That's how you orgization going to everybody. Cardinals. When the world says the phillies did it back in the set, how many? How many? How many? How many world series is the cardinals win with that, with McGuire? Just the one one,...

...right. Yeah, how many world series is the giants or pirates when went barry bonds during the exactly it didn't affect the whole team. The cheating effects the whole team. Yea. How come of us? So depends. It depends on how many players are involved in the cheek, because they all didn't have the Buzzer on there? No, but they are almost our whole infield. Did only the best players then? Yeah, that's the shittiest. Well, exactly, who probably could use at the man? Yeah, true, let's see, that's a day. But the difference is that the your best players are the are not ninety percent of the time. They're the ones are going to make a difference in the game. Yeah, yeah, they're. You know. I mean you know, and sport you can probably if you the ones are going to make the most bang for your buck, whether it's Ben Simmons or Joel Right, you know, Carson, you know, or Fletcher Cocks. You know what I mean. If Fletcher knows, they're going to run the ball. Get what I mean? Yeah, I'm not going to waste my time giving a reseuled Douglass a signal that you need to blitz now because we're still you're not fast enough to get there. It's not going to make it. Then ride you're going to give it to the guy on the inside. That's the biggest guy on my team and have him. Have you seen the video of ltuve with the supposedly with the Buzzer, with the or all the Shatman pitch. I mean that do we all know? I did not see. We all know that dude throws a hundred plus Yem and he when he when he got that slider to hit the walk off, he was like waiting on it like it was batting practice. I mean that's a little sketchy to it. Go, go watch the video of that and you can see, I'll toovey's like waiting on it like he's setting up for you. Knows it's common and and he throws fire exactly. Yeah, he's waiting for any an hour slide. Yeah, you can't wait on his pitch. Exactly. You Got Watch watches. Watch the video swinging before he three people. Rewatch that walk golf video and you can tell he's like he knew, he was just waiting for God, I saw some some breakdown on a ninety five plus mile an hour pitch. where it is. It is scientifically impossible for batter to hit that pitch if he's not swinging for the pitches thrown. He has to because he has think a third of a second from the time it leaves to pictures. Hand recognized before and you have to recognize the pitch before after it leaves his hand. You have a third of a second to swing the bat and physically, a batter cannot swing the bat fast enough to come around and make contact with the ball before it's in the catchers mit. So they literally on a ninety five plus mile an hour fastball, they have to start swinging before the balls pitched. And that's guesswork. Yeah, that's that's an educated guest on the batter's part. Yeah. So do we beat the Dead Horse Enough? I was. I think we're going to close it eys there. As you think MLB's gonna do it there? They've already said they can't. They don't see any evidence of devices being used. Well, we know that. Do you think there's any player board is going to come out? I think I think players will get speaking Tony, players extensions coming? Yeah, well, if they will. Only knew about it from WHO and tea, but he just said yeah, all beans doesn't rectly reopen it. I don't think MLB's gonna go after any players. Should think it's they should. And how do you know? How do you decide which place? I'll tell you what a word all the players that knew it. I'm gonna tell you this is spending a whole team. You going to bring up your house too? Face going to lead the League and hit by pitch this year? That would be interesting to see. That's a great point. D You will. Well, if I'm if I'm a Kershall, if I'm Curseda on, plunk in him every time he comes up. Part of the belt require world series. Did you see that comming? Well, he calls the the world series part of the beltry and firing was one of the mets pictures last year. Was pissing and moaning about guy stealing his signs. Felt like teams were stealing his signs. So you're going to say, well, now we have a manager in here who's been known to put a system in place to steal signs. I'm so glad see the ground, I think was the ground was complaining about Scro say. WAS IT Zach Wheeler? Was it wait, Dj here's here's the scary part. Does MLB own the dodgers two world series? Because, don't forget, where did Alex Corps go? He was the manager of eighteen red SOx who beat, it's right, the dodgers dodgers back to back. They when they were stealing signs, and eighteen wow, so, yeah, I don't know. Yah, two world series, you got snash. thinkersal's going to turn down. I will, course, go out vacid. Don't give it to Godger. I can't. Don't want the dodgers to have it. I think they what you said earlier. The just vacate the title. They should not give it to anybody. When I saw the original thing come out where it was just hinch got fired and D GM and then the draft picks were taken in and a fine. That's not enough. It should never be enough. All right. Well, super quickly on my statement on the thirteen years. Right, four hundred and forty five homers? I can't. I was trying to find a numbers. Long Story Short's...

...like at two hundred and eighty eight baton average, like two thousand heads and four hundred and forty five homers and like, well, I'll just say a thousand rbis right. Is that? Is that a hall of Fame Baseball Clubs? Yeah, pretty close. Yeah, right, that's bonds is first thirteen years. Yeah, that's pretty close. Free Steroids, right. That wow, now, that's where he spent seven years in Pittsburgh and I think when he went to Frisco, because that BALCO thing. Ninety three, he's waking. That's when his first year is in here. Forty six eight, jump from thirty four. He topped the top out of thirty four. In Pittsburgh's first year in Frisco he hit forty six. Well, now you get into the juice all thing to he he hit forty plus home runs at an age, three years in a row, at an age when most players are in the twilight of the career, and then his last two years he had twenty six and twenty eight on. But look at the guys now hitting home runs, twenty plus home runs. That's all the bullshit, launch angles and all. Yeah, but I'm just saying, like you can get into the juice ball era to thing now and I kiss me. You're light ball. Yeah, but that's a whole other yeah, that's a ballad. See, I'm I don't get it. I'm with Your Dad, but not that I don't it's not that I don't like Andy. I was fine at the end. Andy needed to go. It was on board, but Andy needed his last four years were wasted. I'll let you say your point and then I'll let you know what a caller said that. I totally agree with it all. Well, we're mad even get it done. That's what it is. Yeah, that's where I am. That's what he didn't win it for us, so why should it be happy? From the windowed else where. That's what it is. We're mad that he didn't get a hand and the Super Bowl didn't wipe the slips like clean. Now. Our Super Bowl didn't wipe this nut it wasn't him. Right, you're still going to hold that grudge and and it's it. It also gets its it gets not for me, not for me personally, but it gets to a personal level with him also,...

...because he was supposed to be a players coach. He was never threw his players under a boss. And yet David Acre's worst week of his life, what did he do? He threw him. He directly blamed David Acres for a playoff laws. It wasn't. You know what I'm referring to, right, his daughter? Yeah, okay. And then Brian Does Dickens, when Brian Dawkins left, you're really good. Let's all take it one big giant step. Awake the HITTY. So when the lightly comes down, miss gets hit. Yeah, back up, no collateral damage. And then with Brian Dawkins, that they he left. Who? Who? Brian Dawkins is the most popular player of the modern era for the eagles. I don't know. Prior to one thousand nineteen eighty, who you could say the most popular player, but since one thousand nine hundred and eighty at least, it's definitely since one thousand nine hundred and ninety he is the most popular player to where an eagles uniform, he went to the hall all fame, he was everything Philadelphia once in their professional athletes. I always used to say if I was a professional athlete in Philadelphia, I wanted to play exactly the way Brian Dawkins did, the exactly the way chase Utley did, because he they are the definition of Philly mentality. And what did the day he left? What did Andy Redo? I don't want to talk about Brian Dolkins. It's Stacy Andrews Day. We signed him today. All all questions about stacy. No question. All Pro Hall of Famers, they see, whoo. Yeah, so he wait, when you let your you're literally your franchise player, go and you don't say boo about it? Hmm, it just you know, optics are bad. Yeah, yeah, it's terrible pr I'm huge. Dawkins, Fain, huge talkings rock dry. No, wait, he has the fathead above his bed time, I bet. And I walk out the side the Morn. Yeah, I gotta hot five a champion. Dames is shed and rolls her eyes. Yeah, he kisses it every night before he goes to bed. I wanted the name Brody Dawkins, but heather heather cool. Doubt it actually pretty cool. Dawkins is the first name. I said, like can I get Dawkins is his middle name? Be Pretty Cool. You gotta keep the James in the family strong. What's wrong with that? Woman? BRUD's broady talking to be an also really cool, cool man. Give you that. Dude. That's as bad as me trying to name my kid. Calls it. Oh, I wanted the name Andrew Remington so we could call him remy, Remy Martin. Well, I'm sticking Remington, like steal, like the gun. And when I told Mary and that, she's like, you're not naming our kid after a liquor that you trank. Well, the girls, my twin girls, if they were gonna be buoys, there to be Jack and Daniel. It's like, I like those names. I don't think she caught out a little washing like, oh, wait, you ass all Yo and you still could have dropped. Even if it was a boy and a girl. Could a drop Jack and then Diane. If your last name is Walker, your you gotta have a kid named Johnny. I thought you say Texas, WHO's brain at's centric to our introgram here. True, it's true, Chuck Norris if he knew, if he knew, he would drink pops. Oh, yeah, a POPs guy. And if Johnny Walker knew, he would drink pops. Yeah, Connor McGregor knew his shitty. Hadn't had that, is it? Joh, I'm never had. I haven't tried it. And actually whatever Jay propriory. He said it gave it the theme. saw. Yeah, I'm it's a tried at quivering thumbs. I haven't shot yet. Okay. Always see the trucks for it, though. Yeah, yeah, I see billboards for it, yet they promote that shit hard. Yeah, he's gonna get his kick tonight. He'd been at ring. To him, never bet against the guy named Donald. Oh Wow, double wow, your drop development, DJ. Be Honest, Gregor's going to kick his ass. You think SARONI'S SCRUB? He's washed off pro but he's washed up. He's definitely taking just feel like conny's as like his last like three or four fights, right, I think? Yeah, if McGregor loses a fight to Sarni, he should retire. Well, this is clearly every day. Whoever loses this fight tonight will retires, I think. Me Personally, serrony, no, mcgregory's only thirty two. Yeah, they're all three hells. Run Ron, he's like thirty nine. He I think McGregor Shul took a tune up first, unless he's unless he's honestly looking at cowboy as...

...a tune up and wants Daz again. He wants to trild you with that and he wants to be a paid right there. I mean it both him and could be as I mean. Yeah, yeah, I mean I like watching him. I mean he's a of the cry. He's great. He is a fucking actors. He's a fucking Ay brought. He made UFC. I'm before like feeling of tonight. I just I think he kicks his ass. You think so, Serron? He's all, he's older. He's yeah, all right, we'll say, look at at where were. We would have playoffs. Yeah. So, sorry. So two of US would like to see andy get his rag and two of US wouldn't. Who Thinks? I think Tennessee actually has a shot at winning this game. I do to have a shot if they keeping hold onto the guy came homes off the field and Derek congers a he's been he's had a full season in just a playoffs. Suiously, seriously, what he's been doing? Almost four yards right? Yeah, and they if they can get him the ball thirty times again, and that's the key right there. He d just pop it. That's it. My homes off the field. Keep him off the field. You got that's it. You just keep rolling the ball to him, you know, do your little dink and dunk passes and keep Derek hat feed to feed the beast. Don't let kind of healthy killy. You don't let him throw it too much. He's actually played while he has. I mean he's been the the ultimate game manager. Yeah, he's been the best he's been in the falls of the titans. I think folds way better than that's pretty couch shit really. Just say that. I don't know, an't tight and I'm not even like on Nick Falls Jock. That's just that was hurtful. Come on, seriously, prove me wrong. Proved me wrong until Annahole rose fur. We need for on editors. I've hundred yard a hill beats Tom Brady in a shootout where defense game didn't, except for last name breast part come brady down a hill did beat Tom Brady. Not In a super bowl won hold on you could say that it was more impressive, maybe because it was in New England. I give it that. No, the Super Bowl is the ultimate ultimate daial site. It's the ultimate day game. Everything's leading off. The whole world's watching. No one. What other sport other than maybe the World Cup? Right, other than I World Cup? What made your sport has more viewers on that day? Nobody. Nobody. That's the biggest stage. Jeopardy beat a game one of the NBA finals. Now, so you're saying, then, when Tannehill Beats Aaron Rodgers, Mr Rogers, that he's steady, you gotta. He's coming fine, Rogers. Rody stubs down Rodgers. Not to hate on me, are you say man, because you have a secret crush on Daneka? He think, who is the one before Danek? I would choose hotter. She won the actress. Yeah, Olivia. Money was hotter. He he down graded. I can make a left. Her secret get star. Your secret really is good making a left turn side. I can drive in circles all day. I mean she doesn't pitch. You have one occasion. She don't look bad sitting in the passenger see with it. Not at all. But but downgrade from Olivia. She wants to tell you you're looking at your turn. Have a designated trover for life. Nor you mean lite. Now he's got his first little DD. You're set up. You think that. You think that hell goes. You think she always wants to drive, like they're going out and somewhere, and she's like that are not drive. I've sure I'll get a stare you. And what do you say to her? She fucking drives to war hells. She's like, I got this area. Yeah, hold my beer. Yeah, I just I just bought the card. Like the drive it? No, no, yeah, you get over there. Yeah, you could. You can play shotgun lay the radio while I drive. Remember a commercially. He made what his dog the star? Say? Yeah, I don't think that's gonna think that was true. That Terry driving to pick up and he was in the passenger see, not the dog. Yeah, did she drop this one? Our arrange over two one hundred and seventy. You want to twenty five? Twenty Five Deal wanna? All right, so I say Aram Rogers, but I think that the niners take down the packers. Yeah, yeah, they owned them in the week. Thanks first match up, but they didn't have Davante Adams. So that could be a change and he is a game changer. Yeah, so I don't know. I'd like to see the packers because I want to see Rogers get back. I think that'd be a good matchup. So here's road in somebody's face. No, no, actually, I personally don't hate Rogers. I actually I don't personally hate him either. I don't know him. Is he a hall of Famer, which just one bowl? Yeah, he's a he's been a top five. We're back every year. He's yeah, I was just busting a child. He's not. Yeah, he's now what he do, but what he did? He did.

He still want of your girls. Always guys an express. What was it? It's it's deeply routed something. It's mustache. Once he started with the mustache, it threw me off. I was done with them. The SE draft in fantasy all the time. Once that mustach scheme, I was it's fantasy. You had a bed year with them in the Vanas. It's that. Learned with Heather one time. It's been bank ever. See Iver a all pay? Yeah, it's that. It's that and the S poorn mustache. Yeah, he's over right pass I like that he's overrated. He's not over read. It always has an excuse for why they don't win. It wasn't me, it was everybody else around. You never see. It's a I've never heard say that it is a team game. It's I mean, you got twenty two starters when you make your players better, not even take folds, Nick foles one, Oh my God. But, like you know, football is a lot. Is really a lot harder, old timan. It is because, I mean you got twenty two stars of offense defense. Then you have punt you know, punt starters, which was what they are, and you got kick return. So you know you got three separate things. That's what thirty three at least thirty three starters, I mean theoretically. So who what's his excuse this year? Then he's got Davante Adams, one of the best wide receiver game. Won't have it. Aaron's right. I think they're gonna win. Wow, that your prediction. Whit it all? I will. No, no, I don't know about when it all yet. I don't know about that. I got to see tomorrow. But I think they killed arch in the same frame. Win, all right. I wouldn't put it past them. If it happened, I wouldn't be like shocked. I mean both. I got bosa's he's a beast. He's a beast. Sherman's playing lights out. The other kid they have on the D line is as the den. Their d line is sick because they don't they have dfour to yeah, they before. They got another fuckner. Is that the Kid Solomon Thomas? They drafted him? There's somebody else on the line who's got a lot of sacks on the line. Here they're de lines like five first round picks and they're all monsters. Yeah, I gotta say this forecast Kansas City last year. Yeah, that was a win. Going back, going back on name thing, Jack, that graft. He killed me with this one. Nice. He said, if your name is Holmes, do you also have to have a kid named John? Nice? Good, Jack, it's a good one. You're not going to hell now. I don't worry. Jack. You're kind of sitting that get up right exactly. You just hoped it, and I'm sure Johnny did. Someone scrupulous shit as it was, older and like Marianne was sitting in there looking at the screen while he type that. She's shaking her head right now. HMM. We don't have the pod joy in this week, so we yeah, we can get a little blue, little risk gay and we're fine. If you know, father shaking his head right now. We're doing he just dropped out of the conversation again. Let should get fron on. Our kid strains to do emon Ay be on that cother to leave everything. Yeah, every time we have a text draining out among the show and we just little grew up poppy watching games every yeah, ice a week, the podres. You gotta drop out because it gets somewhere. He's like, I can't be involved in this, especially were when we're when he's using his school wi fi. Yes, maybe you see hilarious with that click cosmetic stuff. He did his work pictures. Yeah, Oh, yeah, Oh my God, I was fos those demo videos. Funny. He's like, I want to squad by boys. I gotta get in on that fast. On the place. When a be gets going, it's rapid fire. Just let just let this little guy let it rolls like. I was unable to check my phone for a while because I was working doing something, and I went back to my phone I literally had one hundred text just on the Santa Bud first text, right, have the nothingcar my fron the text from him. No, no, no, from all the Oh, okay, sometimes it won't always be. Sports. Will just like throwin some like Oh, yeah, and yes, stay, and we get the rails on that text round like we're doing they, like we do here. Yeah, we were just like we're doing right now. All I super bowl. I got titans niners. Wow, you got really your tellings. Are we wait? You'RE gonna say that I was old one andy to win. No, I just think the titans. It's a Cinderell team. They're on a right I don't know if they're going to win this. You were hottest. See me. They're the hottest sem in the playoffs right now, but I I can't see them winning in Kansas. Cyd You, though, I feel like it ends some way. Want in new a loss. I know, I know, but I feel like it's any home son in Baltimore. It's going to end sometime. I still ended the Super Bowl. I think. I think it's chiefs packers. I'm going to go cheese packers. I got cheese. Forty niners. He's Niner's much right. Too much read that's got to change it up. Sorry. Yeah, that's why I got chiefs niners. I got niners. I want to see Tennessee. I'm counting on Andy read screwing up clock management, time out management.

He's going to score fifty. Yeah, I know. I'm gonna do said lighting. There's gonna dinner row. Yeah, bubble pays going to be up by fourteen with with a quarter left and he's going to continue to throw the ball. I don't know if Tennessee can pull this off. Much to Pennis, much to work Henry. Yeah, Derick Henry can pull it on. Much to my Chagrin, I think I'm going to go chiefs and Niners, much to mychr grin. See, you get upset with read, but think about all the years off he came here. It was a lot of nothing. You had one run in eighty. But then red comes here and you're the winning is. Way Back to the early seven it was nothing. None of us are here nothing, but none of us were here by the early seventy drudgery. None of us were here for their early S. modern error. Read made you the winning is franchise. And Yeah, and in regular season play. Yeah, in the NFL. Yes, the they have the most regular season wins, I believe, and way all wins in the NFC since two thousand. You going to make not a hundred percent sure, but I got out. We're going to make me say it. Just drop it. How much of that was built on that week division he had? Then you can say the Patriots had a week did right and I think saw they saw them go outside of the division. They sold the beat for twenty. Yeah, but they are. You check their out of out of division, Rocord, who Andy read out of Division Record, playoff? He doesn't control scheduled. He doesn't now well, but if you check the right the record out of conference, I bet you it's not that strong. Maybe the eagles were just two dim and lay home team figure for. I bet you wasn't that strong. Did the giants not win too super bowls? And any reads are at nine and Steve Kid. So how bad is our division? They were nine and sad. They won the Super Bowl, but they were nine boys. They didn't win the division. At nine and seven they were. They won the super bowl twice. They beat the Patriots at sixteen and no patio considered. Night Fence. You got. You got it. Kidding me? Go, YOU'RE gonna call that a week division? Yes, Ay, what BIM? They had to go on like a seven streak at the d they still did they still did it. All right, that's let's move on. And you told me it's a week now. Yes, it was a week division. Than, no reason. No, what was it? Yeah, US giants want two super bowls. They cheated and did know they didn't cheat, but it was their defense that did it. He still had the beat teams to win the Super Bowl. The freaking glue trap on tyree's head. are speaking of those giants. They got a new offensive coordinator, got a new cheerleader on the sidelines. Clap, clack, clapper. So we got that to look forward to. He's still in a division. Way. WHO's the giants fan? Tommy? Yeah, sorry, y'all, drag your Tommy now. He's a parkward guy there. You actually you're a little older than he is. Holds Pat Forty two. I know he's in his forsally early for yeah, he's like for Thouy two hundred and forty three. Good for the giants? Good, yeah, that's good for us. So we stop an offensive coordinator position open. Yeah, are you applying? Nah, yeah, I'm waiting for the DC job to open up. Okay, I'll take that instead. Okay, defensive coordinator gets Jimmy Shot. I'll throw lace jetty with another Jimmy squarts right. I'll tell me. You think Schwartz is a little disappointed he couldn't get the browns job. I mean he wasn't the best candidate, but are you disappointed? As anybody disappointed, I'm a little round. Say Right, do YOU WANT TO BE IN CLEVELAND? I mean, I'm a little upset he still here. I'm going to I wouldn't need to double my salary to go to Cleveland. If you can't double my salary to go there, then I'm not interest. It's a bad situation, but it could be worse. I guess worst. And where? What? Cincinnati? Where in the NFL's worst, please? I was going to say maybe, since NAT how they get the number one pets? Have a nice smite. Miami's pretty bad, very Miami it, but at least turn you got South beach now. Yeah, for the chargers, a little little urinary, I go la, whatever you want to call it. Yeah, you got to figure all that into it, like outside of just the team, like you were telling me. I got to go to Cleveland. Lebron grew up in Cleveland. Couldn't get away. Hey, some guys don't sign in California because Hell's restricted. The taxes. Yeah, you know. I mean when you push them to shove, you get smoked. So that's why you see a lot of you might not have a Miami. I'm already got do income tax. Yeah, that's a big any other things all set us to that's where I was going. Texas is another huge things. They don't have tax. Yeah, you're not getting smoked that. You're making your money. You're bringing that shit home. You giving it away. Tom Gott says I should send you to your room. I agree. No dessert. If a team...

...in your no Shelly Sandwich difting team for him, right in a team, a team of your division was two super bowls. He's got necessarily consider that a really weak division. It was a weak division and they went on Ay. Want to run right. Like. I see, like you say right, Tennessee. Yes, then a hot team going. If you say it's a weak division, then why is there never been a repeat winner of that division? Besides once in the last thirty years? Let's say you think our division was good this year. No, garbage, trash, nobody deserved to go to the playoffs for our division. That's sad, but true. No, wh be true. During and he's run. How can we couldn't win a division? Giants, the best, the second best team in our division, like the cowboys, weren't good for a majority. But I'll these ro I'm just saying like, if he is, if it was such a weak division, how can we couldn't win in it every year? And I think that's what Your Dad's would think. Oh yeah, read, they wanted five years in a round. Yeah, they had back back division, like they want. If you find about site years and a see, you act like when we got here, it's stayed the same or it got worse. It got way better from what it was in the S and s way. But the s and the s, the nfcast might have been the best division in football. Okay, but I'm saying you act like read made the eagles worse or like the time was worse here or it was just now. He Mediocre. He was definitely a very good coach. He's the winning his coach you ever had. But I don't I don't view him as a great coach and I don't feel them as you go all of fame games, going to the hall of fame strictly on numbers. Yes, okay, so he's a great coach. No, because he built a lot of those ways. It gets the way. What's what's the word? You always told me that. Yet you have to solidify yourself to be in the whole of fame. What's that one word? You have to be called Champ. No, great, great, yeah, Ay, reads a great coach. He's gonna be all things, buddy. My view, he's not a great coach, he's a very good that's why you're not a voter for a whole thing. Amongst all the reasons working on it. He's a I never viewed him as a very good game. Day could if he want, Yo, DJ, if he won one super bowl one, if he won one, it could aspen this year. And No, no, that with easels, with yours, won one super bowl. Your Dad wouldn't feel that way. Correct, I guarantee it. Correct. I agree on one and that's US going to the NSA championship game four times. Okay, but he would have brought I thought right, five. My bad you're right, five. If you would have brought home one, okay, then he wouldn't feel that that's what has a valid point. That's what it is, because we were, we were, what was it? Four out of the five. They went to gree in a row. Right, three out of the five. They were favored Arizona, carry right of foreigner land, Tampa, no, Tampa, and they were favored against. They weren't favorite against. Say, say, thats right, right, but and that was the first year. That's a good point. But for sure. But let's say it brought it home, it would be okay. So don't want us to Super Bowl. Right. Let's say we go and he's not the greatest coach of that you was have ever had period in story. Okay, that I saw. Not yet, not yet, not okay. I love that he got a super bowl, but yeah, okay, that's what I'm going to say. Let's say the next four years we go some one, we go nine and seven or ten and six. Is that division winning? Now you don't get a super bowl. Division winning and maybe like one wild cart, but you don't get a super bowl. Do you still put him on that pedestal of any read caliber, great coach because he won you a super bowl. Yeah, he did. He did it. He did it. So that point your point. You're saying read won you was Super Bowl with did it when you was super bowl. That's what so you can't you. You know you don't feel them as great, but Peterson won you that super bowl. Your mediocre the rest of the years. How about with him? Jim For GROSSI and Charlie Manuel? Right, fields are pretty good under for GROCY. Yeah, notty fields were better one year. They were better with man. Just one year better with man. They better to hell, does it? So, Charlie? One year, one. Who's the is Dallas Green still the most winning manager? WHO's The phillies most? He wasn't even around long now. Yeah, right, who's? He was only the manager for a few years. Oh, he left in eighty one. He went, he left, he left, he came the GM. Know, he left after eighty and became the GM of the clubs and Stole Ryan Samberg, Stole Ra. Yes, yeah, probably the worst trade. It's ever going down in the history of made any baseball trade. Just stolen. What a trade was Larry for if Ond? Yes, and will throw it throwing kidney prospect but yeah, to sweeten the deal now, he was he was a he looks like, yes, he was. Say that he was the bag of balls. He was a dozen balls and a couple of rollings, baseball bats that they throw it like that. This is s sweet up in the hall thing. This is sweeter. Yeah, yeah,...

...he knew exactly what he was getting and he wanted it. They were like okay, he's like give me that senence amber kid. Yeah, it's America. Yeah, I guess. All right, since you're throwing him man, guess, sure, we'll write the deal. And he acted like he was doing them a favor. He was really like her hand. He's probably laughing his ass off, laughing his ass all still, and he's been dead a few years. What the else? He take this down? Yeah, he basically usual Christ damn things. I break it down this, this, that one. It's get back to the you. Yes, how am I breaking Baseball News to you? Yeah, I don't know. It's you know, I'd so. That's rough. Offensive coordinators. James, James Urban was the one name that seemed pretty exciting. He's a coordinator, or don't you a quarterbacks coach with Baltimore. He pulled his name back hardball. So we're keeping all of our coach other guy did so, bobby and grom. Yeah, talking about Deuce. I don't understand it. Well, then I saw something saying it Deuce shouldn't get all the the credit or the blame for the running back rotation. If there's actually somebody else there, that's who. Yeah, it was still the name. That's coach and it's assistant head coach. There was another name that was thrown out this morning. I saw report this morning saying that he definitely had a lot of input. But there was another Gush, like he wants to do. I would assume he wants a job right. It's just he hasn't come out and said, like, I don't really want I like. That's why he gave him the bumping pay and the coheck figured, I mean go go get you to it, me, go get your promotion. Yeah, they signed another O Si. If I'm do some leading. Yeah, he if he doesn't get it, that's yeah, he might stay for now. I mean because what other offensive corder jobs are out there? They're really not many. So he's going to stay. He'll be he's gonna be leveling soldier. I'm just saying yeah, you know what I mean. He's going to be a good soldier, he's going to do he's got to do and he's gonna look for another job. I mean yeah, I mean he I don't know why he isn't, you know, in that office every day make questioning. They're doing their due diligence. Maybe there's a guy on one of these playoff teams, maybe that they want to try to get in and talk to. USC is the new new hot name the USC offer coordinator? I'll he he coached under Mike Leach at Washington state and they threw the ball a lot. Yeah, and they did have back guy. So if you're thinking you want to bring somebody in and work with Carson, here's a question. The quarterback. Blah, blah, DD key. Powered he sign them now? I think. I think Howard we're gonna want. I think howards gone. He wants to much. Honestly, I think I've heard steak it is. It is the saying day. Well, I just don't think they're gonna. Don't never pay for a running back. Miles Sanders proved you can probably be your every down back. Don't get me wrong, I think that kids a stunted. Yeah, he's only getting better. He's only going to get better. But I really think that it's the money. I mean it depends on what POW. Yeah, Howard and and they're tight in cap space to this cay. They can make some moves. Don't have a lot of time. We're going to go through the roster today, but we're actually they got a tart to go out to you right now. I like the change of pace with between Sanders and Howard and. You need somebody between the tackles. You need a bigger guy. Yeah, Howards are Sanders is speed Boston. Scott hold most likely be back. He's staying. Absolutely need a bigger guy to dire. Yeah, to crush it up the mental right, and that's right. That kid does, Yep, Yep. Yeah. The question is that going to spend the money on? If he wants to take a prove it deal, then he'll. I think they resign them, but I think he wants guarantee. Think honey. Yeah, and a long time, long contract. He and he's and he's going to get it. He will. Yeah, I mean the other thing to hurt him a little bit as him be getting hurt. Yeah, that's the thing. That's why I don't know if teams will trust him right there. He was hurt in Chicago to he might get it. He might get a like a one year deal from the Eagle. Wasn't like. I let's side. I hope that's what I hope they do. I rather do that. Thank give them guaranteed money. They don't have another. They have too many holes. I mean, yeah, they got that. They got I think their top priority right now is figuring out Jenkins, figuring out what to do. I gotta Bring Back One of those safeties. Jenkins mcloud are both up the whole. There's old defensive hold the cloud. He's younger than Jenkins. He's definitely. Yeah, here's question for you. Do you bring Peters back because he says he wants to play? Do you bring them back there, or are you going to put dillard out there, because you're starting, you're starting to progression him. Of Dill, I would eut the clouds and and my Lata. You have a lot. It's right that you brought not are you gonna still run that experiment? Are Now? I mean, but here's the thing. Did you waste the first round pick on the bill, on Dillard no, no, no, absolutely not. Yeah, but he could even get on the goddamn field because a peters he played. He played a little bit this year. Yeah, but when Peters gets hurt? Yeah, okay. Where did he play when Johnson was out? Now, v Ty Vie, Tye, because I don't they don't want to put them over there. They want him on the left side. See this what I want it. Wait, so you don't play them, even though he's on the right, even though it's on the right side. If you don't Walk Nice. It was Tony Out of them could be experienced. Yeah, you only better playing. I think impression all the team was in. If they were out of it, it probably I could see them putting the veteran guy right on the end...

...and not leaving the rookie out there. Okay, but he's not a rookie. Second Year. Ll Right, yeah, now this is dillard rookie here. This is now. Sorry, but if this year was the second year, now is rookie here. This was his rookie. yere. Sure about that? Yeah, my Latta was the second year player. DILLARD's is first, because this year was Dillard savors. Is Dillard Change? Are they aboid side Clayton Thorson. Sure I'm positive? We sure that DILLARD's not? This isn't dirt second year, this is rookie here. Yeah, yeah, I could have now it's a second. Yeah, yeah, okay, okay, okay. Well, if you're years, there for years. So He's signing through two thousand and twenty two. So if are peters, what are you coming back to prove, though, I would talk to him and be like, you know, you want to be an assistant. Oh, line coach. We just work with diller. Just work with those, like to keep them in the in the in the organ. Just like take dirt on your wing and just got him. He did. He has to do it as a coaching position, you know. You know what he said. He said if there's he said, till there's somebody better it can play that position. I think I'm out there and that's I mean he took it, took nine. He took, not I think it was nine, offensive fouls. And if you watch him, and I did all year, he leaves early. Oh, every time, every time, because he's get off the back. He's he's still piece, but he might not be the guy who was three years ago. That left foot comes off. Yea. Yeah, he moves every time and there's games where they call it and there's games were they don't. Definitely I'm always got he jumped. I'm looking for the five. I'm so honed in on every game. I watch like there goes. Yeah, there he goes, there he goes, and he doesn't get the call most of the time. Right, but he was, I think, I believe he was the most penalized offensive lineman on the eagles this year and that was I remember. I remember being nine. He might have had a couple more, like you know, either every Kel season else he's good for a hold. He's the metal. See. Yeah, Kela, I'm not faulting that. It's either him cal field, and I just think that that just shows that peters is getting a little older. Yeah, he is. With the question is, is dillard ready to go, because that's the points I bring us. I had a whole year to learn that one. The offense. That's watch the game how how it is. It's him getting smoked. I'm tired of and he's not telling whether Peter's just going to make it through the game or not. Right, yeah, that's that's the thing you get with Peters and and I'm tired of him getting those penalty flies. Well, pisses he all job peters is. He'll come out of a game and then stands on the sidelines like he's fine ready to go in, but he's just hurt. Right, like, Dude, you're either hurt or or not, like, come on, right, you're injured, you're injured or your hurt. AFTERR hurt, you go back in. If you're injured, you're out. They did, done, n over time. Snow is falling. Gotta get home and Shovel. Damn, I love overtime. Lightning around, lightning round. Connor Barwin, assistant to the general man here. I like that. We like that move. Yeah, yeah, I think they're touls of the way, little deight clean. Yeah, right, just to bring them back in the fold. Did he need that? Like? Did he need the money? Like? Why? He just know, he lives in Philly stills. Well, yeah, you're right, and I he does. It does, because that's a lot of both. Right, he's a great guy. They they he does a lot of community stuff. You Run for mayor, he could win and fill wow. Well, anything over that clown. Yeah, sure, he's a prep guy. Watching her. Who Kenny that get out of here with that, and it's a lot of my prep guy at that sighs. A lot a lot of prep guys did that. He's pissing off a lot of prep guys. If they were only fire who mayors in a row that were prep guys. That's all fine, Dan, and I don't see how this same doing can't go wrong with a prep guy. Yeah, clearly you can. He lost his shit. I say that tongue firmly planning. Oukay, all right, how Carmichael, Hall of fame. Why did it take so long? Exact closes. Numbers don't add up to today. Yeah, but no, no, no, but here it is. Here's the crazy Bart. His numbers did add up then at the air. Oh Yeah, you always taking his cocked. His numbers added up then. What was the fifth? Was it fifth and or South here in time? Seventh yards. And what was he in touchouns? He like seven. Which back that ninety nine was the was the the number one? He rise numbers in context, should have I'm not going to say first ballot, but he should have been in his third or fourth try. Maybe it's numbers were yeah, Barro standing when he retired and you know, I top ten. He he was the only was he the only guy who was on the s decade team? That was a right. Now it's Dru Pierce. That's just gonna say. I love that the most. Piers. You can see all the videos. Yeah, he's mad. So sorry, I'm so sorry. And it was kind of like he's a salty dog. I mean, yes,...

...don't say you feel bad. No, I will say that, but it holds you. Dare's whole wow, sent you to your room. has there. His whole family is there and it seems like they don't ever a year tarn. When it comes, it's like, honestly with it. He had like a hundred and twenty five less catches. Now, don't get me wrong, Drew Pearson had some unbelievable catches and some of his catches are where they few of us are killers against the eagles. He was so. Now he had that one iconic one where he, you know, quite yeah, jumped all at the ball. I mean he's had a couple of plays. I want to say we're top ten, probably fell of all time. He's got the rings to Right. He's got a ring. He's got one ring. Oh, it's only one only one. He will either. You won the one and seventy eight. Okay, but the question is his even his numbers. I think he had like four hundred and forty five. And how many did Harold Catch? Five high, five hundred five. See numbers and I don't follow. Almost six hundreds, but I mean his just say his numbers are still hundred and forty some catches less than Harold's. Just because you made so many years, just because you made some spectacular plays, doesn't make you a what if you line them up with the rest of the guys in an air again? was He still hop but that's my play. He was on the top one hundred team, but okay, of the I don't know if it's s or all time, like he was on some top list top one hundred. He was on the old sent s decades team and I think he did make the NFL top one hundred. But wait, now he I don't know if he was. I see I don't know, because I thought he was the only guy that Harold was the only guy on the all s team that did make the now he's he drew pierces the last one lasts. Did I make it? Because he's got to be about a hundred and forty catches less. And then how I've never heard of h and then I remembered when the draft of trayer. That's when. Then I've heard. Now I've now. I mean the numbers are skin I mean the numbers are skewed them because the games totally changed. The short when we were should's sold said passingly. I mean he got Christ. WHO's the guy who's got like, what, six hundred catches in a row? WHO's was it a bay that's got six one hundred catches in a there's somebody's got six one hundred receiving. You know, maybe, just maybe, wrongly, I might be a Tonia who has had some years where he was injured. Yeah, sure it might be. Somebody's got that there. So that you got. You got that right there. You got six years of over a hundred catches, right, and he's got more than Harry Call Michael had thirteen years. And that's the difference in the game, the total difference in the game. Like, Yeahs Bart Star going to be a all pro or all you know, world quarterback today. Know, the guy doesn't even step on the field today. Yeah, he's done in college. If he made a college team. But that's the difference in the Arras you know. I mean that's that's what it is, because he was had all the Paul Horning Right. But in the context of it, Howard Call Michael absolutely at that point in time was a stud. Yeah, he was a starters. I mean that's like Steve Largen. You think Steve Largen gets on the field today, we'll playing for the Seahawks, though, you don't. He's he's Julian. He's a Steve Larger. He was great. I know he was. I knows really he could get him today's I mean, was he fast enough? Like that's my point. You know what I mean? The guy say all right, team, yeah, I think he's on that. Yeah, because Hogan was at a cross player. He made it to yeah, because the Patriots made of it. I think I can. I see him in that mold. But he's not top receiver. Maybe, but he's not Steve Large. And now he's not so large. And this I mean you know he's a West welker. He's a don't want to keep it Steve Large and didn't get it with the White Guy Wide Receiver. But that's moldy fits. It's not a right and he totally didn't get his speed of like. He is not just lost the large. Yeah, he does. He has a stunk right and he played in Seattle, which and he played in Saddle, which was a waste lane back in those days. Right, it was. Yeah, who seettle? What? Right, Oh, there, they play in the NFL. Yeah, that's what's that? That was a comedy of football teams. If supretty Super Universe I felt was that the Calgary stay super duper. We'll just have ours. They'll get this the super duper lightning round. Right, we gotta go sixers. You Want Rocco back? Yes or no? No, depends on what they're trading up. But yes, because he ken shoot, I mean he can be nice. He will be a nice six guy. You get rid of Zyar, yes, yeah, Barroca, yes, and Mike Scott, yeah, yeah, probably Horford. No, no, you're not gonna pour for no, no, unless there's like another team involved. Then how much posse you have? Just throw it out there. You gotta give something, get something. That's way too boor to Saund you did have a heavy backy. My bad boys. Marquelt faults excited about his triple double, not upset that...

...we let him go now. We treat him more on when he was here now. No, I hate that. Were we agree? He's weak. Did you see Joejoe's letter? Yes, so there was all tribute. It was awesome. I just want to win a fucking title. Yeah, he's awesome. said he does. He's tired of winning. He doesn't want to want to debate anymore. Well, this stay on the court. Go ahead, you gotta read. You A lot. Go ahead, you gotta give you. You got to read the article. It gives you another perspective. But read the article. You'll have a whole news you point. He had personal about his brother's death and all his parents. Almost didn't want to play. Almost decide he's not play basketball. I read that. Yeah, he was article. Almost quit players spires when he went to under armor. They released it as he has like a new shoe coming out next month. He literally said, I almost quit before I played my first game for the sixers. Yeah, let me. That's how DRAMATICA was. He like loves this city like he go read the article. It's all the city loves them back. Now that's the thing he talks about. That go ridgards. He lost his little brother, and that sounds like it really really messed with him, mess them all. Yeah, big time, was it? I mean little brother died, but was it a tragic death? Yeah, cars, it was. Sorry, actually it wasn't. Like yeah, all right, I think that's it for the light. You know, I let you want to about Ben Simmons and Tony The tiger, or how about Antonio Brown bagattics? Anybody want to bag of back? They got me see that. He sent it. Yes, again, the guy can just he cannot stay out of his own way. He is he's got something right his ten and I now drew Rosen. I was just left him on his yes, yes, because I knows you can't handle he was, I think there was a period of time there were he was close to getting back in the league and then he and then he just does that, got on twitter and said something and yeah, so apparently you threw it back at Dummy Dickson, I gotta say this, not his wife, for his baby, Mont whatever it was, and I got a drama about the sexers. Ben Simmons, please please rate, no bend. This is right to you. Ben, please stop doing what you do in the fourth quarter. Play like you play in the first five minutes of the first game of the game. Please be that player. Stopped doing what you're doing. In the fourth quarter, you fall out, you're not even on the you're not even on the court. Play like you're in the first five minutes. He's unbully. He's unstoppable in the first five minutes of every game he plays and he totally dies in the fourth I don't know what it is, he just totally like he needs to have a bull frost of flakes and halftime, because it is easy with these, with for also toy, because it is I saw his commercial this morning. So really get his frost. I going to have time and maybe he'll get that energy back. WHO's there? G grate? Wow, that was nice. Fu. You next on pick it up another answer. There we go. That's all. This as good as me saying Asht relutely. When you ask me I wanted to see the say yeah, you want to come by going to show? I'm like Astro lutely. All right, I think that's it. I think we covered it. We got snowfall and we went over time and any parting statements. Okay, Van's got homework to get so that's home work to do paper. Right? Is it finals week? Mid terms classes be ye, all right, back this week coming up. They were back. This is it? Right, guys, final stratch in joyous time while you have yep, soon you'll be old and grizzled and Dick. They roll like twition. Right, yeah, no, no, he's got his own job in the flow out. Yeah, yeah, seventy granny nor what works? Some marshals the department store. Well, for them, like invision center, kidney kidsking that fresh out of college of life. For Riley, that boy still living at home. You got an office job, I assume. Yeah, well, yeah, well, he works in the warehouse, but you know, he's like a supervisor. Well, Major, and he still working with me does. Yeah, what was his major? But I'm a drinking money, Hey, yeah, smart, yeah, more now he's yeah, I'm sort the studdy's well, yeah, and hell, time to switch back. Wait, wait, wait, it helps when your dad knows some of whom work there for ten years and then that person calls, calls the person who runs the facility, like number one calls that, and then then you have then you get your resume and send it to the number one person.
