I don't say where. It was all my crowd and got. Hold on, wait a minute, double good morning football fades. You are listening to another episode of the say a boot first podcast, brought to you from the lovely wildfire radio studios powered by wildfire sports, also powered by POPs, Irish whiskey, pop, the cands Iris Whiskey. This is Jim Marcus in the studio with me. Today I have the marvelous Martins once again, both Dj Good More and gentlemen. Good morning, morning, and behind the glass we got tk, producer, all the stars. I really like marvelous morning, like the Barblos Martin's. All right, we'll keep that going. Wait, that are us your magnificent either or magnificent for d right, either or all right, Ye, either one works, either one works. Yeah, good, good, bring a sit in every hed, a little meek dreams and nightmares. Courtesy of courtesy D Dja. We allow the youngster to pick our opening theaters. Ball at them. Yeah, the super boyant them, and is also very appropriate for where this team is right now, right, yeah, we have dreams that could quickly turn depending on what happens Monday night. We'll get into that talk. Let's talk a little bit. First, little post boredom on a giant s game. Not a not a pretty win. Now it's again. We had many ugly wins this season, but we'll take them. Yeah, wins a win and at this point a game, that's what you got to take. You can't be picky about how you get a win, so we'll take it. Yeah, when came on the foot of the giant killer once again. MMM, Jake Elliott. Yes, field goal to seal the deal. there. You think he's allowed to cross the border into from Jersey and the New York City at anytime soon? Well, actually, Not New York City, because they don't play right. We're into North Jersey. is He allowed a Bob Trenton? Would anybody notice? Okay, kick now, nobody knows. It looks too much like a regular guy. I think the only kicker that I'd be able to pick out would be Sebastian Jandikowski. Yeah, see, Bass yes, I don't know about that anymore. Yeah, I think he's. He's been funning them on pretty yeah, it's packing on the penalties. A kicker. He doesn't need to. He doesn't need stay and Shavee. He doesn't need that to work out where see at now? See, yeah, yeah, I thought. Yeah, he's with the seahawks. All right, so they actually accomplished the feat of making Eli Look Okay, Look Shit Mediocre, which welcome. Is Good. That's our forte. We make average quarterbacks look good. It's a Kuan got his like we thought he would go a hunt yards rushing. You are happy. Touchdown. I would have it's not happy. Nowler, don't put that on me. You didn't mind it. Now he's not on my fantasy team, so I did. I didn't like it at all. I've I'm learning to sever the pain state tie with him. Wow, who he's with. It was weird. I always we've talked about it before. We'd but fans wear different teams jerseys into the game,...

...like teams that aren't playing. MMM, I get a pen State Jersey, but I saw a pencil number fourteen. But if you're wearing a pen state, say Kuan Jersey, all right, I get it. I'll give you a pass on that. You're not making the the the KNUCKLEHEAD Bingo, but like a fourteen. I wearing it. I mean we did have Hakenburgh for like, for what, like five days, all of a minute. Still my count. Now that doesn't get. But now it doesn't occount can that's the first one opinion today. I'm much for keeping track of these. I might still be recovering from last night. So all right, all right. So the one thing that they didn't do with, say, Quan though, which I think cost on the game. He only got the ball four times in the second half. What do you think in there? That's yeah, yeah, I think they're taken. I mean, what else is it very much felt like it like. I don't think the giants of that idiotic. You would hope they're not. As a fan of the team, you would hope they weren't. I'm I don't think they're tagging, but no, no, I think it's I think it might be in the back of her mind. Who knows? Yeah, no, team is afraid to give the ball to the rookie running back as much as they can. Write like that's like a staple. And then every NFL team. Right, I thought I did hear a comment that they're trying to save him. Save him for what this team is? Yeah, Save Them for whiles now, I guess long. Save Them for next year. Same Firm. Next he's a rookie. Should have to worry about that, you know, you should not have to worry about it, especially since the shelf life of a running back is an average running back is what, less than five years. So you got to get everything you can out of them before he, you know, either falls off the table gets hurt starts getting hurt. Yeah, I nobody could figure that out. Listening to the radio all week, nobody could figure out why they stopped doing and they stopped throwing to what Beckham in the second second half. Also, now to art. To the Eagles credit, they started making some adjustments at halftime and Malcolm Jakins made those suggestions and they were able to get after Eli a little bit more in the second half. So I'm sure that had something to do with it also. But how to eat? What's one of the ways you can bat and aggressive pass rush can in the ball off? Yeah, short masses, yes, so tanking? I don't know, but you never know these days in pro sports. And and I heard somewhere, I think it was on the radio, that this upcoming draft is a week draft as far as the skill positions are concerned. So it's not like you're going to be getting anything in the draft. If you're if they need a quarterback, they do, I know they do. There any quarterbacks right now in college football. I don't want you close enough. Is An not a question that that aren't that MMM, this guy would down to answer back. Well, I don't think so. Like you were just saying. Hell, this is one of the worst years for skill positions in the draft. It is I don't think anybody really jumps out of anyone this year for the draft. May. Maybe there's talk of this Guy Justin Herbert, the quarterback from Oregon, that might be number one, but even even him I don't think he has it worth thanking for. Yeah, I don't. Yeah, no, not at all. Yeah, they the eagles. They made some adjustments. It looks like they're finally willing to settle on the running back. Although Corey Clement had had some good runs. He looked at something they but yeah, yeah, Josh Adam seems like he's going to be a guy get. Yeah, he looks like the number one guy going forward. Corey Clement finally showed up this season, you know, I know he was dinged up a little early on and I don't mean to downplay what what he's still because...

...he was tremendous force last year, both during the season and in the playoffs and in the Super Bowl. So I don't mean to trash the guy after you know what, as big a contribution as he made to last season, but he really hasn't been doing a whole lot. Part of it's due to injury, part of it's probably due to scheme trying to figure out who the number one running backs going to be after a JI went down. So it was really nice to see him finally, you know, poke his head up above ground and get some get some positive yards and a contribution going on to to the better of the team. But it does look like Josh Adams is going to be the guy going forward and I hope that wasn't an operation on Sunday. I really hope it wasn't an aberration. We need to have a bounced attack, a solid running game, and I think that's the guy that's going to do it. You know, at as soon as we let leaguere blont walk, I knew we were going to miss them. Maybe this is the guy that kind of fills that void. But you know, it was interesting about him is he didn't seem like his better runs were in he tried to get to the outside m he you think with his size he kind of guy that would go through the line right but right up the mental but didn't seem to do that very well. Yeah, maybe that's just the offensive line not being able to open. Yeah, enough of a whole form, but he were, he seen the round much better when he could get to the outside and, yeah, and get up the guideline. I wonder what happened with small wood to he was used a lot here all probably only was, and now he's just nonexistent. It's you're right, that's that's a good point there. It's interesting to see how he's kind of fallen off the wayside and maybe if Clement is going to start showing up week, weeknd a week out, small woods probably going to disappear into the background more and more. Now it sounds like they're. SPROWLES is going pempt yeah, yeah, that's right. That's right. So the comeback he'll just going to get and I hope that dog doesn't go back to the let we have five guys now. Let's spread it among these. Yeah, stick with Adam, yes, cory. Yeah, Sprowles is a little breather here and there, and let's just stay consistent. That's one of the things that the team hasn't done well the season so right. Hopefully that'll help going forward. Another they didn't do someday, which has been a big problem for us was turnovers. Yes, no turners on something, the first turnover free game for cars at once. Yeah, so that was very much and you know, even just one less turnover makes a big difference, especially depending on where it happens on the field. It makes a big difference. It gives you all those extra possessions that you got to maximize your scoring opportunities. You can't, you can't let them go by the wayside and when you turn the ball over, and that's exactly what you do. So if you get the maximum number of possessions, gives you the maximum number of tries at scoring points. And and that's what you need to do in today's NFL. You need to score points. Yeah, you know, Thursday night thirteen to ten just doesn't happen very often anymore and it's going to it's probably going to happen less and less as the time moves forward, not just the season but in the future, as these rule changes come into play and you can't, you know, do certain things to offensive players anymore. You're going to need to score points. And Yeah, thirteen to ten is as as much of a defensive guys I am, and I enjoy that type of game. It's not going to happen anymore. It's a good situait into the next thing they need to do to fixing this team. Point. They only have twenty one first quarter points the whole season. That's dreadful. They need to come out and I think we talked about it on the show leak. I wanted the ball first. I was I was upset when they decided to defer. I wanted them to come out get the ball first, just because had they been playing, put the offense on the field, get down there quick early, score and get this game gone right. And they gave the ball to the giants and it was a another slow start. They...

...need to come out with the fast starts, hopefully Monday night or geeked up, come out get that ball first. I think that's what's been the problem for them all years, the slow starts, and pretty much every week now they've just come out terrible and it's really cost them against good teams. We've seen it against the Vikings, the Sunday night game against the cowboys, they started off slow and you know, that's why we are where we are right now and I think if they can get better starts for the rest of the week, for rest of the Games they have left. I mean it's going to make a difference. So one thing I wanted to talk about was Obj you guys know my feelings. We had to show, you got to show a few weeks ago about overrated players and we're going to touch them that again today. We had no longer elite player just to to try to get tailor stoked because he he's so this is another bad take by Taylor. Good, don't act like you wouldn't want them on this team. So backham. I was telling these guys on the ride down things that you don't see on TV, that you see in the stadium. The Guy, when he's not on the field, he's not with the team, he comes down in our side of the stay adium, in our end zone. He would see him walk down to like the ten, between the ten and the twenty and just stay in there by himself, talking to himself, whatever he's doing. He's not a good teammate. I don't think he's not there with his team. He wasn't beating up any in animate objects like kicking hands and shit. Why are you? Why are you down there by yourself when you could be up there with your quarterback, talking your quarterback about why this route did work or Hey, I was open on. Look for me next time when we do this play and he start doing he's just isolating himself from the rest of the team. Well, like, like you said, he's a diva and diva he might be the ultimate diva in today's NFL and he plays a diva position and he takes it to the nth degree. And you know, like you said on the way over, it's all about him. It's all about look at me, you know, the blond hair. Yeah, you know, that's just the way he is. He's a great talent. There's no denying that. He makes the spectacular catch on occasion. He's living off that one key. He is. He you're right. I don't disagree with that. He's good. He's really good. He is. He's here probably top five. You know he is top five. Yeah, I'm not disagreeing his talent. He's very talented guy. Would you be saying this if he was wearing a jersey? That's not then if se no, because we wouldn't see what I was just going to say. We wouldn't say him much. I just that just arked me the whole. I have to still be look at me, I don't care if my defense is doing. Look at me over here from the sideline. If you look here, I am yeah, watch me. Yeah, but you know, stupid me, I'm watching them. Yeah, I try. Just was not gonna say say to my butt, look at him. He's down here again. What the Hell's he doing? I was just going to say he doesn't because people watch them and he gets the attention he wants. I think you're just paying more attention to him because of who he is. Exactly. Yeah, Chaff, you pay more attention to Saque, so we're saying should be paid attention to the field. He's home tail. I'm just someone who captivats your attention. It's just who he is, all right, so somebody I would like to captivate my attention that hasn't yet golden teat. Yeah, what are we doing with this guy? You think that Howie and the coach he's get together and say that's the guy we they target at this game because they thought they could use them. They haven't been able to figure it out. Now. It frustrating and I spe I think it speaks volumes on the coaching staff that they can't incorporate this guy into the offense more than they have with eight targets last week. It seems like they're trying to force the ball Tom. I'm fine with that, if I'm fine with the a targets, but don't force the ball Tom you know, you have to get them going somehow. That says right right now. I agree...

...with that. It's so frustrating, especially watching what Dallas is doing with the Mary Cooper. You know he's really making contributions down there. They have to if they if they want to make the run that they need to make to make the playoffs. They got to get the guy in in more involved in the in the offense. And they and it's a scheme. I think it's all scheme there. Do you know look at what it maybe they have, I don't know. But what they need to do is they need to go back to film. WATCH FILM OF HIM IN DETROIT, watch film novel them in Seattle. See what work for him. Talk to him, Dude. What works for you? What do you like to do? And if you have to change a couple plays around or or draw up a couple new plays, do it, but get the guy more involved. In the offense. I don't understand this and it's really frustrating. Yeah, they need to figure it out. You bring them in for a reason. Let's get it going, because even though arts is still playing great, he's obviously the focus of every yes, everybody knows it. cartion. That's weird. That's his first that's his first read. HMM. His receivers weren't helping him. Again last we ounce and had a couple drops, but you bring this guy in to be another weapon and they just haven't been able to figure the only ways it seems like they're using them is on a screen, yeah, or a little shallow crossing round. I wish they would take a shot down feel with the guy, because I remember him in Detroit always being the guy down field that was to getting the shot, staring at them, and I wish they would do that here. I don't know why they haven't yet and maybe they do Monday night. We'll see, but I wish they would start taking shots with him down field. Agree. We were talking at the game, DJ and I watching Al Sean. He's getting one on one coverage and he's got to be three to four inches taller and just about any cornerback in the league. So when you get that one on one coverage, you know you got to throw him that ball because he chances are he's going to come down with it. If it's within eight feet of them, he's going to come down with the ball. You know, just go throw it out to him and let him get the ball and do something with it. And what did it? How many targets did he have? Last week he was no one at five or six. Right now I arch had the most with seven. I think. No, now he caught seven, I think. Yeah, eleven target. Yeah, they got it. He's towing the line and talking the good talk by saying it's not affecting me, I don't care, I just want the dubbies, which is which is what you want to hear. Yeah, especially out of the wide receiver position, because we've already said we just talking is the diva position. So that's what you want to hear. But eventually I would think he's going to get a little frustrate and say, you know, dude, I got five inches on this guy. Will you throw me to Damn Ball? Do you know, twenty yards, thirty yards down field, and let me go get it. He was scored a touch out every week. Yeah, that's right. Yeah, he's just stopped because Carson. I don't is it the defense is focusing on him. It can't be that. We just said that. You see that they're focusing on arch and if you think hurts out of the game, then who's Carson going to and we seen that late in games. I think it was the our aligning game where we were driving the last drive and the whole drive it was just Alshon and hurts, altshut are. It's we get down inside the twenty or fifteen, and that's when Wentz fum will. But it was because arts and Alshan. They double team them too, and we're and weds. Didn't know where to go with your ball and it costs us a game ultimately. And you know defenses are gonna Start figuring this out. You know, our whole offense, in the passing game at least, is hurt's or Alshan. Nobody else is really effective. So and that's why I think they do all these chilly bubble screening things, because guys like Agilur it and take their they can't figure out, yeah, how to get the ball. So that's how they're trying and are they trying to make that connection airy Carson and that receiver to get them rible, to get them gone in? Do a couple quick screens, a couple bubble and it's and it's so frustrating because you watch the offense last year, how great agilore was, hmm, and now he's back to, you know, just what he was to three years ago when we first drafted them.

All right, so that's the giants game. Let's move on to the Monday night game. Reds kids coming to town Monday night. We'll talk about the game, fairs the night and what it means for the whole end of see east. But this is it. The redskins are team that shouldn't scares but shouldn't. Shouldn't, but the way we've been playing this season, you never know. Colt mccoi coming in here ending fear at all of Kurt Coupe lacue really can do now. I sat on my radio show at school this week. I said I I really think by the fourth quarter when it comes around, I think Sanchez is in the game. You think you see the see and cheat. You did say that. I remember you because I think Colt McCloy is just going to be that bad? Yeah, yeah, do you think he's gonna get picks or he's just not going to be able? I just don't think he'll be the ball. Yeah, I just don't think I'll be effective. Yeah, all right, Coltman on, on paper, of course, Colt McCoy doesn't scare you, but we have a tendence to let quarterbacks that shouldn't do damage against us. Your web due that. Yeah, Joe Webb, Kirk cousins, that's right, but yeah, quarterback and running good kirk cousins all those years down in Washington. Yeah, he did. Every have our every week we would play Washington. What was what would you hear? All Kirk cousins sucks, he's not that, he's stink by Blah, blah, Blahbah. And then he goes out and throws three hundred fifty yards and three touchdowns and Beizzas you know. Stop saying that. Say and stopped taking it for granted that you're going to beat beat somebody. It just yeah, it, we should beat this guy. We if we get pressure on this guy, hopefully he gets rattled. He should get rattled. You know all that business. I don't necessarily fear them, but I am wary of them, and not just him but the Redskins in general, because division two teams always give us trouble. They're six and five for a reason. Yeah, and now with the injury to the quarterback, we'll see if that change. Adrian Peterson has been running well for them, but it's getting later in the season. We'll see if if he holds up. For the NFL, this is not a sexy game. This is not a SNA nobody cares about this game other than the fans in Philly and watching did and maybe Dallas, and it's sad wires fantasy platters. Yeah, outside of that, though, it's it's not. It's just not an exciting game to watch. You're right now. We'll be down there. I'll be down there. You guys will be down there in our seats watching this game. Hopefully it's not too cold. I hope that the fans are into it. Last week got into that game. You kind of filled a different vibe. Yeah, so I'm hoping the wind last week and realizing what's on the line this week. Yeah, this is our season. Yeah, for all intents and purposes. Yeah, this is the season. Yeah, Dallas one Thursday night, in a game that I'm shocked by. I don't want to hear. I kind of felt it. I agree. A teller with the show had a I had a feeling. I had a feel hunt in the back of my head. How does New Orleans lose a game where the other team only scored thirteen freaking points? That was totally drew brees out of character. Joe Say it knows, terrible. The Dallas defense is good. I don't and Joe White here on facebook live. I don't know if you're just trying to troll US and get us fired up, but that Prescott is not a good quarterback. He's not, and no, he's not. Don't tell me that. They want because at Dack they won, because his Zeke. They won't because drew brees start a bad night and it was a career like bad night. Yeah, it was. I think it was the worst start of his career through her like seventy four y'alls out of bed with a hundred yard right. Yeah, yeah, we had a hundred and twenty years day before the married. You're exactly right. He falls out of bed and throgs for hundred yeah, I don't hear that, but now we have to deal with it. Now all the cowboys cockroaches are coming out and we got to deal with rightfully.

So they've had a good season. I'm not annointing Dak is as better than Carson. You started seeing that this week. We told you that was a great quarterback. That didn't do squat, that don't is not a good quarterback. They they run the ball so much with Zeke and it's very effective with that old line and Zeke's just that good. And then they asked DAC to make a couple throws and he does and then all of a sudden, no, he's you know, he's the elite quarterback that they want to throw him in, but he's not. He Hasen's protection. Yeah, he has time to throw the ball, but even then I think he only threw one pass over thirty yard exactly. And you see these strows. So Mary Cooper, but a lot of it's cooper making up play and not so much Dak yeah, so we have to Monday night. We have to win. have to win seasons over. MM looking down the line then, like we want to. Let's hold off on my let's not look down the line yet like. Let's finish up our thoughts on the game when day nights car a couple key matchup. You got our run game, our new run game with Josh Adams versus the skinton defensive line. At that's one of the strengths of the redskins. Yes, says they got a quality line and they're line back up Bryan Kerrigan. His just been a quality linebacker for the skins and he's always at the top of their stats for defensive players. So we'll see if Josh Adams is if this is going to be more of a test for him than the giants line was. MMM, our de line versus the Washington's offensive line. Washington, I think they're on like baby. They're sixth offensive line configuration. They've had a lot of players injured. I don't know that there's a lot of consistency there for them. So that could be advantage for us. And then the third TAK of my mind is their tight ends. Washington has great tight ends and we tend to struggle with the tight ends. Yes, we do, especially across the medal and he seems so. Bradshaw broke his thumb and like three different places. He says he's still going to play, or Bradshaw, Bradam Prodom. You guys knew how I meant. But just how is sticking Terry problem, like Terry Bradshaw's gone. So you're Jordan read and Vernon Davis scare me a little bit. Yeah, but yeah, yeah, well, Jordan reads getting a little older. Yeah, but we do have a tend to see to play a little weak against quality tight ends. For a few years ago I was thinking of for my fantasy teams, dropping whoever my tight end was at the time and just playing the tight end against the eagles every week. And, you know, because I knew they were going to score, score some points. So I would crack up, you know, saying yeah, I'm going to go ahead and just drop my tight end and play, play that he play whoever's playing against the eagles that week. I never did it, but yeah, I and and that's just been our history recently for the last you know, five to ten years, where we don't play well against a good quality tight end and they especially seem to hurt us over the middle, like that fifteen to twenty yard throw down field, over the middle, yeah, or down the Hash marks and ends up turn it into a touchdown. It turns into a touchdown or big game. Yeah, because, unlike our tight ends, the other team's tight end seems to be able to break that first contact or avoid that first contact. Our tight ends go down on the first contact almost every time. We'll talk a little bit of that's it. I want to take a pause in this fantastic I think we need to talk in analysis, because another thing we love here football food, food. So we just had a guest step into the studio with us year, chef Lour Leyhi, guys, how are you good? How are you good from Krick Water Saloon? So we mentioned a Krieck water guys a couple weeks ago and yes, Taylor, it is Krick water. That's...

...not our accent. It is a philly thing, but it is Krick water. That's how it's spelled. I can still enjoy the way you said that. Okay, I'm glad you. Enjoliet so Cheval Realis here. She brought us some wonderful breakfast items. YEA, so today I brought you guys some Crick rocks, which is fried pork roll and Cooper shrup American cheese. So it's deep fried and it's starred with Brown mustard. And then we also have Krik sticks. So I brought you guys kirk sticks with Maple Syrup and Saracha Ketchup, and that's deep fried slices scrappled like they look like sticks. MMM Wow. So, yeah, smell here. Yeah, just crowded. Can we take like a fifteen minute breaking have a major throw down? I got some plates and suffering. So we do like to we do like our food. On the show we've had a couple chefs shade and we've had deep's nephew will from stockyard sandwich up. We had, yeah, chef to Lopez from the eagles. Okay, so we like to bring the chefs soon try some of their specialties. Now, you guys, I know the Blis from Krick water, junie out of guys. Yeah, I grew up with them for the back in the old day, but they're a little younger to me, but I know them. So just tell us a little bit about Krik water. How long you guys been opened it and some of the specialties on, like what's your favorite thing to cook, and then what's the specialty of the House? Maybe, okay, my favorite thing to cook is the lll special, which is obviously been named after me, to Fried Chicken Sandwich. It's buttermilk and pickle brind for like twenty four hours and then we fry it, bread it, fry it. It starred with our Special Urban Sheella Aoli with our own house made bread and butter pickles. It's amazing, and Pepper Jack Cheese Nice. That's so we open on July second and the kitchen open all the second and we're going strong. It's a great place to hang out. We have live our entertainment on Monday's, Thursdays and Saturdays. We have a DJ upstairs. On Fridays and Saturday's we have big daddy grahams. I know our own Big Daddy Graham. He does a show here while fire. He doesn't hi the quiz OUP for you guys on Tuesday nights and Tuesday nights, and then we also just started carryo on Wednesdays. So that's wrong. Over Ned nine to eleven. See you that. But yeah, everything's going to go. We have great wings. Everything I make is homemade from scratch. All of our condiments, Salces, everything you've made with love. Nice that we like to hear. But yeah, youse. Guys should come down. Were a two thousand seventy six bridge street and BRIDESBURG and it's a great place. It's easy, easy to get to d over ninety five for the loss. I know we're over in Jersey, but You Jersey folks, is a quick trip over the bridge right off to ninety five. I want you to weigh in on an argument that we had here. You mentioned with US yes which part of the wing is better. I personally like the drum set for your tongue shift. Yeah, the flats. Come on on the flats was the right answer. That the fly. I know it was a major debate. Personally like the drum sex. My daughter does like the flats best, but I'm a drums shoot. But yeah, it's a great place and you should come out. We have a lot of events coming up. So great place to hang out, great people. It's a good neighborhood bar. How many TVs you have for the football fans? They would have come in on the Sunday and had you game. Pretty positive. We have about fifteen TVs, so plenty of good we ever ear specials, food specials. I try to create features every week. We run that throughout the week. Who made soups? Yeah, sounds sounds like we'll be making a trip, maybe a post show lunch. Yeah, I'm allowing you, guys. Yeah, you started to get into this is good. Yeah, this is a lot in the yeah, I should have few. Yeah, what were easy? Again, I'm sorry, it's only...

...three orders. That was the cheese again, cooper sharp America short. Yes, HMM, it's very good. Not a lot of people will try it. Lucious, it's yes, it's delicious. I think it's great hangover food. So, yes, yeah, we had a big event a couple months ago and we had everything. Burger was up burger with kricksticks, pork roll, Cheddar, cheese, provologies or Frieday Egg. It was definitely a good for people to come in for they're hangover cure. It sounds good. The SARACHA CATCHUP is very new, very nice. That's fantastic. MMM. Yeah, thank you, guys, for having me. I'm glad that I got to meet you all. Thank you. Yes, we are. We are very thinking that you were willing to make that trip over to break. Yes, it wasn't that far. Will have to hold it up to the just to tease the people on facebook live a little bit, if you wan't mind. Just as you walk out, just hold that plate up to the field there so they can see how good the food to look us, we don't have smell of garcial media. Yeah, well, it's said the speakers don't transmit the smell or the phone doesn't transmit the smell. Wow, that's really, really good stuff. HMM and, like I said, good hangover food. It hits the spot. It's not amazingly being deep fried and with the cheese and the meat it's not heavy. It's not like a brick sit in your stock. You know. It's got that lighter letter of texture to it, a lot of taste, but it doesn't sit in your stomach like a you know, like you would think something deep fried like this would, with the cheese and the meat. Yeah, I think it's fantastic stuff got. I'm happy you guys left me a couple there to try. Yeah, yeah, I'll send the sticks out. It was it was a make a tree. It was a challenge to leave anything there. James, that's the King of breakfast meets right there. Yes, it is all right. So again thanks to Chev Loyali from Krick Witter Saloon. You go visit those guys out two thousand seventy six bridge street and Philly, awesome little spot we stopped there, nice little little neighborhood bar is that that catch up to Sarata. Catchy. Let me so give them a shout. All right. So we we had we're we're to finish off our discussion of the Monday night game. Let's let's make some predictions. You want me to give any stats to you guys on the standings and defense versus offense? They're passing offense. For the Skins, the twenty five or thirteen running offense. Kids are thirteen. I knew that petershion was having a dish in here, but I didn't think there would be that high up and that was kind of surprising me. We're twenty four. Of course, are running games. Still hasn't been able to take off point scored. Skins are putting up twenty seven. We're putting up twenty four on average defensive side of the ball. You split that that road and home now. I just wanted you. Over all the defensive side of the ball were twenty eight. Against the past their twenty three. So you look at that stat. All that with Colt McCoy. I don't expect to see a lot of throwing. The run defense is more eleven Rossington's eighth. So I want dog to continue to try to to commit to that run game. Yes, but it might be a little bit more of a challenge than it was...

...last week against the giants. And then points given up. We're giving up fourteen, they're only giving them are. Excuse me, we're fourteen, ranked their seventh. We're giving up twenty three, they're given up twenty one. So at everything you know, look across those stats as quick stats, it looks like an evenly match game. Redskins are six and five for a reason. Like I said, we're giving him six and a half and he over under forty five. I'm taking the under. Yeah, I'm taking the under. All right, I don't like that line at all now, not now. I agree. That's a bad line. I agree. Yeah, I think it opened that sex and now it's at a half. HMM. As that the cult McCoy effect? I was I was actually going to ask you guys, what's the drop off a of Alex Smith the cult McCoy, because I don't think it's that huge because honestly, Alex hasn't been like amazing. HMM. Yeah, especially compared to last season. I think if you want to throw the term game manager out there, he's probably a better go now absolute manager. They have a really good year last year. Yeah, he's a very serviceable quarterback, right, like you don't you don't laugh at them, but you don't get scared that Alex Smith is going to blow us up this week. Oh yeah, years before last season he was just like this guy, really like yeah, but with cool. I don't even think you can consider him a game manager. He's going to hand the ball off, Short pass, he can pope what those tight ends? Maybe like one or two shots down field. I don't yeah, I don't think he's scared of us. I think that's what I think they're going to do. I think they're going to try and lean on Adrian Peterson to control the game and keep our offense off the field, using those passes over the middle to the to the tight ends. And he's not a hundred percent healthy too. So now now, I I heard rate danger on the radio this week talking about in the beginning of the season, at first several games at a season, Adrian Peterson was averaging somewhere about four and a half yards after the first contact and he was leading the League in yards after first contact and after that first five or six games it has steadily gone down to where now he's about two and a half yards of yardage after first contact and he says that's what what's that's what that is showing is that he's an older player who starting to get thinged up a little bit. So I'm hoping that trend continues. With our defense we're, you know, able to bring them down relatively on the first contact and not give up those big runs that he's been known to get even after even you know, getting hit what you don't and I think he's still fast enough to get the corner and get up field. You can't give up those big runs because those big runs really take the wind out at a defensive sales. So hopefully they're able to keep him carrawled and try and make Colt McCoy beat you and, you know, hopefully we're able to limit the damage of the tight ends to because I I don't see a lot of a lot of contribution from their wide receivers and if you know, if we if we can keep them to short drives, we can't allow them to drive the ball down the field, like we've been doing all season. These teams that are lesser offenses don't score a lot of points. You need to keep them limited in the number of long drives that they get and it, you know, keeps your defense fresh in the second half, keeps your offense on the field, and that's what we need to do. We need to start keeping our our offense on the field limit the damage that that that age and Peterson can do. Yeah, I think you're right that the trend of him slowly going down in the yard, which is just a reflection of it. It's a long season and he's an older guy. And and Chris Thompson, he's been hurt for a few games, so they've at least been able to use him to give Peterson a little bit of a breather. But he hasn't really been able to do that though, because with him being he hasn't been getting much of...

...a breather. They have Capri Bibbs, but yeah, the one thing that would scare me, though, is, like what you said, we're saying that with the tight ends, I don't know anybody on this defense that's going to be able to cover Jordan read or WHO's I don't know, furns got it won't touch down last week. Yeah, and they do the speed the time and he was topping out like twenty one miles prow words. I thought Brenda wasn't all right. That's surprise meames like the top speed, because it's down for the week. I think Hicks is out again. Yeah, and you know Bradham is going to probably have some sort of cast on his hand, so we'll see how much that affects him. And it looks like Michael Bennett might be out this week with the foot injury that he suffered last week. So that that'll hurt the past rush a little bit. But yeah, that would scare me is who's going to cover up these tight ends? And hopefully you don't need as much support from the safeties. Is Meet with? Yeah, it sounds like Sidney Jones is going to be back this week, so hopefully that secondary can start getting healthy and the linebackers can stayed midfield there and just keep an eye on Jordan read. MMM, so you want to give predictions. By the way, poor rolling POPs has a fantastic company. Had a chance to get something that port growing out that that that rock was very tasty. Yes, I see the eagles winning. I think it's going to be a typical Washington Philadelphia Game. It's going to be NIPP and talk most of the way. It's going to be a type of game where I don't know necessarily where the last team that has the ball school, you know, wins if they score. I don't know if it's going to be that kind of game. I think the eagles are ahead most of the time. I'm looking probably at about a four point when I'll say twenty, four hundred and twenty with the with the skins to cover. All Right, I'm I'm with you. I think it's going to be a hard fought, gritty win for the Eagles. I don't really see the redskins offense doing much. I'm thinking it's going to be low scoring both sides of the ball. I'm thinking twenty to ten eagles. And all right, I'm going to try to be a little more realistic with my prediction this week based on lass fee. I'm still scratch my head about the jags that week. That wee well, let's we get passed that one. I have get over night. Add I think. I think it's going to be a low scoring game as well. I'm saying that because I want Carson to go off. Like for my fantasy team this weeks, I'll go on with a low SCO were in game. I'M gonna go two thousand and ten. Ah. That's what Dj just went went. How many great minds? Great minds, think of like you know. Please, that's a cover, though. Get lost the same teller. Last week your prediction was it was going to suck. About this same feeling? Same really, honestly say, I don't really have a feel for it. I could see it going either way. Really, I don't trust the other teams. Now. That's why she's so scary. Yeah, it is going to be the end of our season if we lose. Yeah, absolutely less Dallas has. I should have, I do have. Who Does Dallas have to play still, because that's the question. Is Dallas going to lose any more games? I Have Indianapolis at Indianapolis. That could be a lost yeah, that's a tough game, but we still have to play them. So we need to win Monday night and we have to beat the cowboys in hmm in order to stay in line with them. But after that they have Capa Bay and a giant giants here. Yeah, HMM, so they pretty much have a walk to the play. Yeah, yeah, all right. So many other topics to talk about. Looking at the time here, I don't think we can ignore Koreemont. I don't think there's there's much to say on it other than knucklehead. MMM right, it's these guys. He has a terrible history. So it's sadly not surprising. You know what it's surprising is...

...that this happened in February and from the NFL couldn't get their hands on the video. Chiefs can get their hands on the video. TMZ probably paid, probably more than a couple hundred bucks. But yeah, paid. Say Can we get that video, because they know now they get all the press. They got on to publicity and right, if the NFL is really that serious about it, you hear something, you investigate. Yeah, if you have to to pay for a video, do it. I mean I'm not saying you want to people to start you know holding, you know blackmail in NFL and holding things ran to right them, but you really worried about the shield and what it represents in your players. For up a few bucks and HMM, get that video and if your cream hunt when you're originally asked about it the incident, don't lie about it. Expecting this video not to be released at some point? Yeah, all public I shouldn't say all public areas, but area is like a hotel hallway or lobby. Just assume there's a video camera there and it's operational. I would assume. I would take the step further, like you were ready to say, and say most public areas. Now they yes you, yeah, you're being video yeah, you're being videotaped. So you need when there's alcohol involved, when there's emotions involved. Sometimes he's just black out and you forget about these types of things. But when you're a professional athlete getting paid millions of dollars, you've got to hold yourself to a high your standard and you've got to keep a watch on your behavior. You just do yep, and when you're talking about the amount of money that these guys are making, I would make sure that I would keep myself on the wraps. I'm not saying go home and never come out, never enjoy yourself. I'm not saying that. What I'm saying is, when you're out in the public eye, don't be getting face down in the gut or drunk and knocking people around in this and that. Don't be stupid. If you want to do that, do that in the privacy of your own home, meeting get drunk. Not, not people yet, not people, not, not that part. You're not condoning that. No, I'm not going touch good. That's domestic violence. It's at all clear. Yes, yes, yes, what I'm you know, if you want to get stupid drunk, do that in the privacy of your own home, around friends, around trends that you trust. Make sure you check all cell phones at the door and you know to do it that way. Don't go out in public and get like that, and certainly don't ever, you know, you can't be where you're knocking people around. You just can't, and nobody should do that, and it's you know, especially when you're got millions of dollars on the line. You just got to be smarter than that. Yeah, so then, is there going to be a team out there? Because we sold this week with Roop and foster always that right. Yeah, a somebody's out there. That's not a super ball run. It's going to be dest rand. It's gonna Happen. It's nothing new. And should the NFL stay on its tight horse and say no, we can't, we can't allow that. Not gonna DO ANYTHING? And they're not. I agree, I agree totally with you. They won't do anything. And I'm surprised. I'm I'm not surprised that the chiefs took the step they did. Good for them to good organization. They made the move. Yeah, if they left this to the NFL, MMM, he would have finished off the Oh, yeah, you would. He. They would have said, we're looking into it, we see the video. We need to understand. You see the video, you see what happened, how they drunk out the whole ray race thing. It's yeah, and and and look, look what the Baltimore Ravens Fans did when ray rice came back to practice. What did they do? They cheered them. That was pathetic. You gotta be kidding me. They cheered the guy when he came back, didn't? Didn't they have some like little women's Ravens Group actually support them like then they have his jobs. He's are some. Yeah, yeah, they saw like that. Could be wrong by I get somebody...

...who saw something like that. Yeah, yeah, and this is us. It's different from ray race to because he was at the end of his career for the most point. I mean yeah, but had a few years left. But cream hunt is at prime. He rookie the years lay led the lead getting running. Yeah, so there is. There's going to be a team that says yeah, will take the heat. Will take the heat if we're on the playoff, wrong or are? We need something to excite our fanbase. I think it teams like they could use a running back. Green Bay, yeah, Indianapolis, but I think those ownerships there. or She's a little goofy A. Yeah, but I could. I don't think he would put up me that. I think he les. Yeah, it seems like you mentioned the raiders. Yeah, cowboys of old would have done something like this. Even the cowboys, though they don't need them, but I don't think they would sniff around it. And what's unfortunate is the fact that we even acknowledged that. They're probably our teams out there that would be willing to take take a fly on the guy and, you know, give it a shot. We could use a running back here in town. We could. I don't coming. I don't want nothing to do with the guy. I hope that how he didn't even think right about. I hope he saw that and he spent well. Well, it came out. He's will be looking for any will you want Darren's Browles? The Eagles question the police about Ruben? Falls that true now? And he was. They were the only ones too. Yeah, he was on their radar when he was coming out at the draft. At the draft, he was on their radar and he I think he was in hot water at the draft for you you want for this. If you do, have to wait for some evidence to rise up, I would think with Reuben. Yeah, they're there was no, it was not all. Not a team's job to know this. It's the league's J right, true, good points. Yeah, I think we've Ruben there that there wasn't video or anything. Right, so it's kind of he said, she said. Right, yeah, but this it's it's clear planet days. Right. Yeah, it's. That's the difference. Yeah, I want no parts of this guy. It even far away. He's in my opinion, should never play again. But you know, the NFL is the NFL and yeah, they let's this kind of thing, you know, slide on the rock a little bit. And if they come out and say that, then you're gonna have two players association coming in and but you hope that the players association has some backbone to and says yeah, we know, we don't want to stappen. Sorry, we'll play for the XFL. Give it a couple of years, Vince mcman will bring in. Yeah, I saw facebook somebody said yesterday that's exactly what's going to happen. He's going to play. They caught at the other league. He's going to play for the excess xfl. Or is going to go to Canada, Canada and play up there. And that could very well happen. And if it happens, so bait. Let those teams deal with backlash. All right, enough, set on cream hunt. That's the chiefs problem. It's a shame too, because they're on a playoff. Ro Chae prety keeps, not for him. HMM, all right, I think the CHAFE will be fine. I think they'll be Frankieo, it's interesting. Is a few weeks ago and I heard some I was listening to NFL radio on my way home last night. I forget WHO's talking about it, but it was about a month ago maybe, where there was a game where Spencer where started getting a lot more touches and they started getting him more involved in the offense and they were questioning whether the chiefs maybe got a little, a little hurt something through the great minor got a little sniff of what was going on and started saying, Oh shit, let's make sure we have somebody else in case this is true and something goes down. So it's interesting if they knew about it a little earlier than they did start to cover for themselves and get Spencer were and are playing a little more. But I that's the least of their where he's their offense is Patrick, their homes and hi, you are still fine. I we killed. Yeah, they'll be fine. And they got a guy named Kelsey to so right, yeah, nick, they'll be all right. MMM, Kelsey's a tight end, right, yeah, so, Zach Ertz, yeah, zactly like that. All right, I do like that. Say Thank you. So, Zach is Xax move having a record season? Yep, I got some stats here...

...thanks to Jimmy Kemski. He is on pace for Eagles and an NFL single season receiving records. He's almost had a hundred catches. He's got eighty four. Eighty four catches with. What do you four games left? Five, five game left. He's a hundred. Peop might get on easy. It's a mark. Yeah, right, they if Carson really watches own. But the last three tight ends to get a hundred catches Jason Witton, Tony Gansalas and Dallas Clark pretty good. I don't know about Dallas Clark, but whitten, Whitney, Gansalas or very good company. Hall of Famer here. Yeah, he's on pace for a hundred twenty two. Wow, the most was written with a hundred and ten. So he blows those our aready out of the water. What about touchdowns, the money catch? He has six so far the season. I don't know what the record is for touchdowns for tight ends. I have yardage so that the top yardage is grunk. He had a season where had thirteen one thousand, three hundred and twenty seven. Jimmy Graham had thirteen and ten. Zax On page for thirteen O two. He's right there. so He's right there. He's twelve overall in the eagles free yards and he's already fourth in catches, and only his it's just his six season, fifth season. MM yards after the catch, though, that's what we always blast them about, right, that's true. You know, last three years. I know, especially last year, David fence dirt and I hammered arts about the guy catches the ball and falls of medium. But then you start looking at some of these stats and I guess we got ourselves a good tight end. Yeah, we yes, God, yeah, I was I was just going to ask. Can we label them as the best in the League now? Hmm, I would say the best in the league this season. Crowns falling off cross's and he had really three issues. Kelsey, he's still good, but you haven't heard much of we keelc some now at Mahomes is, looking at ty wee kill. Yeah, and Sammy Watkins on occasion, but it's the tyree kill show. Now somebody's open for Kansas City at all. Yeah, that's that's true. And it's all single coverage. Ire I I think arts could be labeled as the best in the league, especially with grand caving such a down. Yere and, like you just said, Kelsey's you know he's doing well, but not what we've heard from him before. Well, that I do not argue any of what work talking about and it's and I go back to the can you please break the first tackle, get around that first contact. What's that? The yardage is telling you that he's catching the ball down field. I would love to see the what is it? The yards per tempt? Yeah, yards per tempt on his Zach Ert's throw. It's got it. It's got to be well into the double digits, you know, like thirteen fourteen yards, because he doesn't break a lot of tackles after he gets hit the first time. And and defensive backs are when you watch him after he catches the ball, they come up and make that contact. It's always the waste or b you know, blow the weight rap. It's they never go up high on them, and that's a credit to the defensive backs because they know they got to go low on them and bring them down. So they're doing that. So he's got to do a spin move, he's got a you know, like Brent Selik used to do, and jump over them something. He's what he's got to avoid that first contact. He seems to have weak feet. M He gets a lot of a lot of shoe straight tackles. Like you said, defender dive at them. Yes, tap his feet and his dead and he goes out. Yeah, you know, do a spend, move something, get away from let me get pick up in though. It's funny because recently there's there's a whole twitter page now with the twitter. The name of the twitter page is called did art's break the tackle? And then the tweet is really as sir. No, every time he's great. Cool. It's like did the sixers when? Yeah, exactly. Yeah, it's funny. Yes, yes, yeah, they did. Yeah, we had our sixers discussion last week.

They know we want to have a we got five minutes in the show. Do we want to have a sixers discussion? Do we want me look right at you guys straight on Aaron Rodgers, or do you want to talk pro bowl? What do you want to talk? Pro Bowl? Pro Bowl. Yes, you can vote for the pro bowl now and not the eagles. Names that are on the ballots are kind of surprising. Even hit that real quick, real quick, and I can school you guys in Rodgers. wouldever need it to him, because get out all the matters. Is that I'm writing. He's not. He's no longer elite and he's probably the eighth best quarterback in a lea. Wait, know what? He's overrated. TJ, you know this whole thing that Aaron Rodgers has. You don't even believe all. You hadn't hand to see. He's got you welting around them. He will not make the playoffs to get in his career. Oh Hot, what his team stinks around believe yourself stinks around them. Are you throwing a lot of spaghetti against the wall and saying what sticks? They're mark is the guy that doesn't look healthy. Still, he doesn't. He's playing on one leg. How boohoo. We need we need to run the ball more, but I want to throw it forty times a games. I don't see. I don't want the ball out of my hands. Is Defense can't stop a bloody knows. They're terrible. Were the eagles nominated? Yeah, that's like how you sidetracked your conversation starter. All right, so we all agree to he'll never right the playoffs again. Yeah, sure, yest, not even acknowledging it. It's like sweet will ellis. We will have this conversation. Okay, all right, so the eagles on the offense. Save it for all season. Godhead, Corey Clement. No, all right, Carson, I get that. Nelson, I'll shawn and and tate. Let's I could get tape from Detroit. I don't know if this is like, yeah, the MLB, we have to put a player from the ground on their highers. Now you don't know. The NFL does not do that. So I don't know what they basically only well, what Dj just set. The only way golden tapes gone is if his office numbers from Detroit. Right. Yeah, and the only one that I off that list that you've read is Carson. That would have a chance at gone. All right. We still got some more. On offense, though. Hurts and got it while are yeah, I got understand her. It's great. Lane and Burger shows I can. I can understand Lane Peters Brooks and say am I little? That's White's mouth. Say Him and Kelsey and I guess some of this stuff is like you're voting on what they did last year. Yeah, you know, that's that to intend to say. Yeah, well, how do we have so many names? I don't know. It's looked at the ballot. These are the names for the use that are on the ballot. I think on offense I give a vote the Carson. Hmmm. I give a vote to Al Shan hurt's lane. I don't know about Jason Peters this year. No, no, no, no, Kelsey and I give one the Brooks. Brooks is really under ratio. Ites on talked about a yeah, I'll have to agree with at all. Right, the been swo side of the ball. We got Bennett and Graham. I can understand Bennett. I think Graham is ft Las Graham's not having the best yeah, I think he's getting the nod from last year. Fletcher and not a no, it's not even not like enough to comb out. Who makes these? I don't know. I don't know. Not Me. Aaron Rodgers is not on my Jordan Hicks. Now, Bradham, grouge, a hill, God, they just feeling sorry for us. Jones and Mills. No, Oh my God, no, Jenkins in maddocks. I gotta Send Jenkins, Jenkins Maddocks until he got hurt. He's a rookie and no, but I wouldn't vote for him. But he's had it. He was having a dcent year. Yeah, he was having a decent year, but I wouldn't vote for him. So on the defensive side of the ball, then I don't even know if I give Ben at one, but maybe, maybe, push me. I would just give Ben Fletcher gets one. Definitely Flash, BUT JENKINS, rest of the guys, I'm not now. No. And then we got our special teams with Jake sprowls. He's really now on there. He's had it. He hasn't played...

...to the profold Ballotcom you know who the NFL needs to drug test? Two people that came up with these names. Jesus, Cam Johnson for Punter. He's actually he's see. Yeah, he's my special team. And then gruget, he'll he'll in. He falls into two categories. Actually, the only special teams guys Elliott and Johnson for me. Yeah, is speaking of special teams, is Marigos ever coming back here? See Permanent Ir this year. Still hurt? I think he's still in the IR. Yeah, and only two can come back, and Richard Rodgers was one. And well, they're saying Mac Hollands and maybe Mike Wallace, but I have no idea. That's the same for married guy. I'd probably bring back Wallace. Yeah, I would bring him back before. Yeah, we need that speed. Yeah, Yep, that somehow they figured it out moving out with golden pate. MMM All right, boys, we'll have to get to the Aaron Rodgers discussion, I guess, at another time. You know you don't believe what you're saying. I'm watching you say it and I'm watching you not believe what yourself I come on, I always speak with conviction and believe what I'm speaking. Too much POPs this morning. Yeah, and it. Yeah, that that bottle seems to me. Yeah, a little light. Yeah, so I've been. I've been mixing it with my coffee, because very good with the Wawaw Cappuccino. Hah Huh. I did not want to desecrate to fantastic beverages in front of me, pops and mountain dew, but by Boute do and not belong in this with the set finest beverages you'll ever have.
