Somebody is nervous for tomorrow but have no fear the rest of us feel our birds will prevail. We end the week on some infuriating sixers talk. Thanks For Listening.

We from P eight a period. Good Morning, Sandy booed first people and Eagles nation. Yeah, that's a different voice you here bringing us in, subbing in for James Marcus. He's away on family duty take its girls up to a track meet and Stat Nyland, was it? Yeah, it's that. Yeah, so he's doing that. So you get two three of us today. We get dj that was the all the voice you heard, and we also have our father, mark covert, I believe, the only sports podcast anywhere that has a priest. There's probably a reason for that, but probably is. We should actually do some research and I would like to get so we can actually make clank today and the trade. Mark Gets Jess, we get trust on. There's definitely pretest with podcast. They usually talk about you know, really, Jesus had a better your life, right, talk about yeah, he goes on the sixers. Yeah, the things that the press you ultimately break your heart. Uh Huh. And behind the glass we got that Cavan at temple student, when you starting back up school kid, sixteen, seventeen? Yeah, what year are you gie doing her? Yeah, good for you. Basketball teams looking okay, although they didn't do so hot yesterday. Was it? Yesterday against all yeah, they got beat down yesterday by Toulsa Air mckeys the catch, right. Yeah, Dad, love Araon McKay, good player and I think he's going to turn out to be a good coach. Till he's got a lot of experience on benches. He's gonna good. He's going to get some good recruits. Yep, Yep, be a better recruit than friend was. Yeah, yeah, I think he's going to get local kids that want to stay here. Yeah, I think he's in the long run. I think it was a good hire and I think he's going to do well. I think that's what the difference was like. Friend was a good coach but he couldn't really recruit the best. Yeah, especially in his own backyard. But right, right, well, not that he guys friend, but he was getting a little, yeah, little, those to yeah, it was. It was. It was probably time to move on, is as much as I hate to say that, because in his prime he was an excellent coach, not that you're old enough to remember, but he brought par readily. He had his pen quakers in the tournament just about every year and I think he a couple times. You want a Gamer, two all right. So let's get some some eagles talking. We're going to start by recapping last week's Oh oh, I'm a miss by not pointing out our spos. Sorry about that, guys. We are brought to you by Matthew Maloney and shurance agency, MPN agency WW DOT in sure phillycom. You go there, you'll get ten quotes at about ten minutes. Easy peasy. We got you covered. And our other sponsor. We are powered by that POPs McCann Irish whiskey. Good stuff, whether it's ten o'clock in the morning or ten o'clock at night, but make sure it's on a weekend. When you're throwing at at ten o'clock in the morning, there's something there's something different in your life. You're drinking it at t am on a Tuesday. Yeah, that's not good, unless that's your weekend true. Yeah, all right. So let's recap from last week. We were at our our place up patty wax, thanks to Laur Lee Bell Stern and Donald Dj Jones setting us up at Patty Wax. That was a really, really good time. Last week capped off with a big eagles win to secure the NFL NFC east title and knocking out making it doubly sweet knocking out the cowboys. That was a really good time. Chef Tim Lopez was there bringing a couple recipes from his his eagles cookbook and, more importantly, bringing his his ring. That was a big hit last week. A lot of people wanted to get their picture taken with it and even people from the other the other room, not in our own little thing going on there. They wanted to come over and get their picture taken with the ring. We had a bunch of giveaways from from Patty Wax. They gave his gift certificates to give away. We had shirts, we had a bottle of POPs, we had some good stuff, good giveaways. We had a really good time. We you know, we had our trivia questions going on for the giveaways. I think overall it was a great time hot had by everyone and I really want to thank the people that came out. That wouldn't have been a success, as much of a success as it was, without everyone being there and we appreciate you guys showing your support for our podcast and for the row homies podcast and also...

...for a patty wax. So thank you very much for for making that appearance with us and we'll let you know when the next one is. We should have something coming up in the spring, maybe a couple coming up in the spring, a couple places. One is back. So let's move on to giants game. Last week it was a it was a Nippin Tuck game most of the time. I wasn't real comfy until that fumble, fun will recovery down on the gold line, which I thought should have been Fletcher's touchdown. Did he get touched? He did. He did get touched. Them look like it, but didn't. I don't remember seeing an angle where it clearly showed he got taught as he was going to the ground and he grabs the ball. He's that's where he's being hit. Okay, so as he's being pushed on. That's why they called it was a Jones that touched them, believe so. Yeah, okay, all right. Up until that point it was a tight game. It was a typical NFC east game, you know, once a gag. CREDIT TO OUR FANS for turning out at a way stadium into a home game for the birds. We heard the land of clear through the through the TV. That was nice and you know it was you know, you see, say we get up at it was a touchdown. We go up and you start all right, maybe this is it, Mrs this is where we start to pull away. We kickoff first play from scrimmage. Will, after the kickoff, say quad back sixty eight yards throwing off the piece outside. After that I was like man, these guys just aren't going away. This is going to be a game to the end. But then we got that fumble, that strip sack and fumble recovery. Kind of rolled from there. How do you feel going into that fourth quarter? Father, I was actually feeling very fine, like I was not worried for variety of reasons when I was laid back, relaxause I was watching from Florida, which can have that effect on you. I know ever is up here, and they do. Are you that? Yeah, but no, and I'll honesty. What I've loved about this team since the second half of the giants game up until now, I'm not about the first giants game we had at home, is the level at which they're competing. That's what took them so long all year to do. We look at you know, was it the injuries? Yes, that play eat a part of it, but they stopped competing early in the year and that's kind of a great sign or a good mark of a head coach to get a team that wasn't competing very well to start to get them to compete, and that's one of the things I always will take notes from with Bill Belichick. I know he has his own, you know, haters and stuff out there, but the one thing that all good coaches always says you have to compete and compete, and to compete isn't just simply all I'm giving Max effort, arm trying, I'm going my very hardest. Yeah, a lot of people do that, but competing is not only giving Max effort but having the confidence in yourself to be able to get the job done. And a great example of that and never kind jump in ahead towards the second half is once they did get the lead and then Boston Scott took that screen when he did that spin move that everybody kind of laughed on twitter. The one thing I wasn't laughing about was a player does that when he has complete confidence in himself and is playing at a level where he doesn't think of himself as a practice squad player anymore. Right he thinks is himself as an NFL running back, Greg Warre thinks of himself as a NFL wide receiver. All right, Perkins thinks of himself as an NFL tight end. So that's what's been the greatest thing to watch over these, you know, past couple weeks through guards of what happens in the playoffs, is just to see how dog Peterson has got them to compete. And for all the people that said, well, it was really frank right, it was de Filippo. No, your head coach has to get you to compete and that's why the cowboys are looking for a new coach. It's why the Redskins had to look for a new coach and they got actually a very good one round Rivera who's going to make them compete, and why the giants are looking for one. You have to get your players to compete. So, as I worried, no, because I saw that this team not only wasn't going to quip, but they were going to still have confidence in themselves to win. And you saw cars and me very big throws, because he's finally competing again. In two thousand and seventeen. His X factor was he was competing in two thousand and eighteen, he was just competing for himself or between himself. He wasn't competing for the team. That's why he's looked like the two thousand and seventeen cars and these is because he's back to competing. So that was my take that that's why I wasn't worried. Yeah, that some really good points. When your part that, I like that competing angle. You your coaches talk and that's what they want. Players that compete, regardless at a talent level. You want players that are going to compete. That means you're giving full, full effort, you're staying in the game mentally, physically staying in the game and you you're making the other team work for everything they get. You're not giving anything up easily and I those are my favorite types of...

...players. Guys that Hustle. Not always the most talented player at you know, whatever sport it maybe, but those players that compete give it. You're all give it your heart, show hard out there, compete and and give their best effort every play. Those are the type of types of players that end up being my favorite types of players. So why, at Iverson is love in this town? That dude was barely six foot, probably barely two hundred pounds and would run trade at Shaquille O'Neil oh. Yeah, in the lane. That's somebody who competes and that's why people love them and not care that it was a three hundred pound man and his way between him and the basket and not care. HMM. How were you feeling these yeah, I mean father made some really good points with Carson and the way he battled back in a game where you know things really aren't going your way, but it gave me have to win if you want to keep that season alive. And up until about ten minutes left and that fourth quarter, I was not feeling good. I thought I thought, boy, here we go, they're going to collapse. You know, they were got up for the last couple games and I thought that Dallas team was our biggest emotional game of the year and I thought maybe they left it all out on that game. But they've still battled and you know, they came through, which was encouraging to see. I hope they carry that into the playoffs into tomorrow. We'll see. But yeah, I think the defense really stepped up late in the game and Boston Scott Man. They need I don't know how you bring them back. I don't know what what kind of deal he's going to want. I'm sure it's going to be some sort of upgrade that he already had from what he has now. I hope he's back on the team next year, though. I mean this guy's provided such a spark to this offense and to this team and he's about our height. What's he like? Five? Five, like two hundred and five. He's the almost the same exact build as Darren split. I think he's like they said, he's FY six, two hundred. I think is two hundred pounds, as two hundred piece over. He doesn't look, he doesn't look at the I mean he's not not a like bulky. I think you would probably die if you're under two hundred pounds and a and a running head. I don't know how you could survive. But I mean this guy, he's just provided such him and Greg Ward, they brought life back into this offense and in the Carson to Carson now has confidencing these guys and you see it. I mean Carson's making plays with them left and right and and Carson that one screen pass wasn't do best throw where Boston had their jump up grab a one hand. I mean that's trust from Carson, you know, he's just letting his guy make a play and I think you'll see that tomorrow too. He's going to trust these guys. I don't think he trusted them before and that's why they were struggling. So, I mean that was a fun game to watch, a typical NCS battle, which you love to have. And Yeah, I'm ecstatic that they got the victory and thank God it's not the else. Yeah, so to pick up what he was saying, like you could, one play that always sticks out to me all year was actually in the first cowboys game, you know, when we were getting blown out but we're still trying to compete in Carson launches that bomb down town or and he doesn't compete, for he literally doesn't heat. And then all of a sudden you start hearing these whispers out of Jessie and Anderson from a source saying, you know, you don't have to make all the big passes and stuff like that. Well, whatever player was saying that is a player that doesn't want to compete, right, a player that says just you know, give me an easy pass. So when they get that's not a player that's going to compete. You know, Boston Scott could have yelled at you know, could have complained about Carson's past being too high when he had to make the one, know, but he just all right, I got to go make this. Yeah, and that's to me that's just a guy who's just want playing for the check, right, he's just playing for the money. He doesn't care if he makes a big plays. Me Hate this and you hate to see it, but that's exactly what he was doing. Yeah, I mean, if that's Aguilar, who knows? Probably, but another guy that's been stepping up got it that. It's been a great target for once in a red zone, on third downs, when he when you need them, he's making those catches that you need to keep the drive going. And I don't know if you guys saw on twitter or fallow the NFL, they tweeted out a video of miked up got. It was on the bench and they were taught. They're like looking up at the jumboch on ever see and seeing some sort of replay and he's like, Oh, that's why Carson's the best ever. was so I mean all that talk with, you know, the disposed rumors in the locker room and, you know, pointing fingers at Carson. I don't know where people are getting that from. Every video I see of these guys miked up, they're all praising Carson. Yeah, I don't know where that narrative comes from. Well, they're miked up, so they're not going to say anything disparage you know. I know. But but in the locker room, I mean. But you also haven't seen any anonymous reports come out now. No, not anymore. But when things were bad, it was all bad. Oh, yeah, and now it's like, I don't you know, it's like a second coming turnaround. Yeah, and to your preview point, I don't see how they can't bring Boston Scott back. That show Boston Scott in great where will be back. I...

...have to be agil or will not be back. That's fine, and I'll show he'll be on Jeff. He's being a contract and he'll be on the injured reserve. The said you can't cut so he'll be here right his and nobody wants that money to pay him now because he's and to injury prone. Now he but I would looks he looks to have law. I mean, he wasn't ever to face this guy anyway, but he looks to have lost something. He's got some major with that. They're not coming out saying, but I think he might have torn something with that ankle. And and just what was it? When did he get hurt? Again, his listless. This is Sean Right, is less frank injury. That what it is. Yeah, he's going to be he'll be out until the seven. You didn't be come back. It was his career. Yeah, and this. Yeah, and look how long it took for Le Blanca d be to come back. Yeah, I mean a huge guy like that. I don't know if we'll who. I don't know if ever suit up for us again. So either way they're good. There's going to be moves in the off season and I don't know if Jordan Howard's getting resigned. I really don't know that. I'll saying I don't't hear knowing because I don't want I don't know that he can be at number one. Oh, I get that, but him and and Boston Scott looking to carry the work it. But they're in the same mold. You know, they're quick. Yeah, they're fast, they catch the ball, you know, you get them in open field and they're gone. But they're not guys that really can bang into aligned. But Rights gonna have a pretty substantial contract. They give that contract to a receiver. That's the decision you're gonna have to be is Jordan going to get it, though? He's not gonna get like a huge he's not going to get like not number one, but he's in drop this year. But who get it? Who get a substantial contract? He's still got a guy. I don't know. I can see somebody else. I could see a proven deal coming. Is I be? I would love to franchise them. Now, wow, because then you're giving him lavey on money. Yeah, but it's only for you and it doesn't for I would not franchise who's who's going to give somebody that took two months to come back from a what we were all told was a Stinger for an injury? I mean, yeah, when you're talking about nerves in your neck, you never would admire wash anything. But then why are we even going to give him anything? Then that's all that says to give up. Wouldn't give them. I wouldn't give them big money, but I would also from his country. IS HE gonna want to come here if he's on a prove it deal? Like you say, are how many snaps you can to take away from Mile Sanders next year when you have a young running back that is he the kind of yes, he's a young running back, but is he the kind of running back where you can give the ball to him twenty plus time or eighteen plus? They got not, they've Dost, but that's where in the Boston I think we'll get a lot, especially since he is from the procting I think they're going to get these many sacks of runs game. Not. Here's the thing. Those two can't do it for a full season. It's nice to have them going for a couple weeks like they've been doing, but I can't see miles sanders and Ballston Scott be in your backfield for sixteen weeks, for sixteen games, seventeen. I just don't know how you can have Mile Sanders in Jordan. How. I just they commit. They're going to command too many carries. It's going to be tough. We'll see how they in intricate them. I don't even know what I'm saying work him into the offense tomorrow? I don't know he did. That will be I mean that absolutely last week. See, but that was what he got. Did he get one sad one snap and he didn't even get I don't think he got I don't think he got the ball. I don't think so. That's strictly a decoy. So I think he might have not been a hundred percent. Yea God gravity counts about this in the all season. But it's going to be really interesting what they do. Yes, that because the money now that they're they don't have to pay to Aguilar next year that's going to go to a free agent receiver. You have to think, HMM, yeah, but yeah, you want to see a bigger name come in here. But I mean the guys had played last week, really played. I mean they made catches that are regular guys weren't making the first time. I can't remember what is what his name isn't that when number sixteen can't the ball, Burnett Ly, that was like, wait a second, Hollis is back of what the Hell's going on here? And then Robertsonda season kicked off again. Every time he needs a big play there's a penalty on yeah, yeah, he does have a US your boy, but so far all of his pat like his big pass down field, have been too makes. It makes because have some snacks, some sweet yeah, it doesn't play the ball well. Yeah, when last time you saw an eagles receiver make a play? RECEIVER TRACK A ball down on him right, basically tracking, like yeah, and at one point I thought, God, it's going to get like twenty catches because he got somebody throws a Ur. He he must have had four or five from shoot top ten tight ends absolutely gonna be like they're gonna be the Patriots, as hopefully nobody murders anybody. Really be a repeat Hernandez and it really could be that combination and that not as prolific, but right, that's I mean having to Stut tight ends. M that's a tough offense to stop and it's a shame because it seems like they didn't figure that out until like halfway through the season, that like wow, we have to top tight ends. Let's use them together to see it was. It...

...was clear that they were really worried about the defense. Yeah, and that they were going to Douce to be this run and gun like we we got to put a point. That was clear their message. And even saw in the red sins game like we're just gonna have to outscore teams. Well, that's a good bye. I mean not that you just need more points to win, but like the you like they're going to be shootouts every week. So I wanted to get into the defense. I thought the defense played except for one play. They shut down. Say, Oh God, they got beat on one play. Yeah, and it's been a lout here. Like I love them as a safety, but he does this every couple weeks. Were our safeties just love playing the run. And when he's and you could see, I because I coach defense, when I saw him step down, I saw saclong go to the outside, I was no, no, and that's why she seems to put his steam on my gaze on. Yeah, he saw, because there's no safety. But I mean the bloc cat is solid. Game last week and yeah, everybody else the job to make how he has to fight to get on the field. He is I'd ever seen him not make a play right, and he was he was a practice squad guy, yess you for the bears, I think, and then they brought him up. Okay, two years ago and then we got them. What's why is he good? He competes. It's like, I'm telling you, that is the comble de dominated with every single player, because all these guys know they're fighting for a contract, because they can easily be back on another practice squad, right, because they came up on the practice squad. So they all want the contest, something that they really have to bring into the draft. And if they have to file, the Patriots modeled and I don't care, because that's how they draft. They draft guys who compete. Why did they even take Brady? Well, he's back up, but hey, he really likes to compete. That's why about it was a guy. I'm like a flyer on them, right, and brade still plays every year, as if it's like somebody's going to replace him. Yeah, it's part white drafted groppolow just to get it, you know, even more. Yeah, there right. I was really impressed with the way the defense played last week. You know, most of the time they yam. The giants threw up a lot of points the week before and they have a decent set in of savers and they they have a great running back and it looks like as much as we mocked the pick. MMM, it looks like David Daniel Jones is going to be a decent, you know, a suitable or back in the IFELTAIN. He's first year, but yeah, he's certain flashes. Yeah, see, yes, he's shown flashes where he can be really good. He needs to be consistent and sustain it over season and over a game. If they could build a passing game around him, they could be dangerous and they have the tools to do that. So that the giants, other than playing spoiler and their last home game, really had nothing to play for last week. And yet the and but they came out to play. You knew they were going to come out the play because it's a rival and schermers a players could I know, yes, I like this, but player. And they reply and they knew probably playing for him and they knew it was his last right. Absolutely. And yet the eagles actually, you know, their defense looked really good. In their tebacks, which have been crushed all year. We size nothing. Could say Russel got beat a couple times. Yes, he did, yes, he did, but I mean they looked solid last week and that was a big boost to my confidence in them that they're going to be able to get the job done for as long as the rest of the season last, although they are susceptilized, one of our commentars put out Verne. They I mean they have gotten lucky, like there's been some bombs on them and the players have dropped them back. Yeah, noodle arm, yeah, game, yeah, but also, like even getting back to the cowboys, like again just wrapping up the you know, competing, which is going to be the theme for the rest of the playoffs. You know, why do they blow the redskins out, you know, at home? Because all the pressure was off. Those guys were just like whatever, we go. Now we can, you know, really throw out because now we're really not playing for anything, which was such an indictment on that franchise. So to get back to your point about a free agent wide receiver, can we look at the Shawan as a free agent wide receiver coming in, because we didn't have them after the first game. Basically, did he sell? Just the contrary. Does he have just one year or two years or is it through? He's got two years. He signed for three, a side for three, so he's got two years left. He's so well loved in that organization. I think if he can prove he's healthy in the ATA's, I think I'll be bad. But if you're only getting well, but he should have got he's not your number one, though. No, he's not. You rely now he's not going to be. I think greg words just slot and I think you need gives two more receiver. Yeah, and he is eligible to come back. If they went son that you know he's playing eliable. He's absolutely yeah, and not just all jump too far head, but I think that adds that as so much to greg word will get ten catches again. That's going to add a lot to our offense. I mean they, they really could, you know, have a window because you know, I know we have tomorrow is going to be a very, very tough game. But if they somehow get through, and then I expect the saints to beat the Vikings. If they go to the West Coast against an inexperienced team, which they're going to be very tough, but you get to Shawn in...

...the warm weather out in California, going back hometown. Oh my God, I think he's I think he's going to explode, I really do. Yeah, I'm curious to see how he's going to fit in if the Eagles Win Sunday. I'm curious to see how he's going to fit in next week and what added dimensions he's going to bring into the office. It will be going to open everything up and and maybe you get hurts back. Yeah, yeah, let's win them are the first and yeah, yeah, that Sulu a little too oh, absolutely, he's not. He's think he gets there if he gets cleared for contact. Today he settled play, but I don't just how much they play on even just having him on the field. We had just such a decoy or so there there is so much conflicting information coming out about Earth. They we know lacerated the rude kidney today. If he gets cleared, which could be happening right now, he's going to play tomorrow. What's the confusion? Is actually not is no, the egoism be consistent. It's that pro football medical doctor, Dr Chow, who's keep saying, though, there's no way, no doctor will clear him. And now you have people say, well, that's all true. Is it a lacerated kidney or Bruce Kidney? It's a big difference. One bleeds and one really doesn't. Well, I mean either way, either way he's got like that, we should rips in the back. Yeah, it's a big even. Think more no by today. And you know, if he does play, you know damn well somebody taking a shot at those ribs. Yeah, and he'll have probably the biggest flat jacket you've ever seen. And how the CONVERSA exact want to be for him pads on. That's what I mean. I if he does play, I don't mean ever know. I would think he's simply a decoy the first time. If he does played a first time, Carson throws one up high to him and exposed round. Job. He's going back that odd hottle. I'm like, I thought we were buds. Maybe. What are you doing to the go on now. So we cover everything for from last week. I think where we can go home. Let's wrap it up, but place anywhere. We got a lot to talk about now, but now we get yeah, I think everything's covered. I I thought it was a very enjoyable season. I will say since Doug has been here, HMM, every year has been really enjoyed. YEA, even last year. Yeah, there's a there been a lot of speed bumps in a road. Yeah, nine and seven last two years and enjoyable. Yes, they yes, it is. They've been way more enjoyable than the what the two thousand and nine, ten and six peoples? Yeah, that wasn't a layer. That's true. When they people make the play, watching Carson threw for four thousand yards. The first poet, yeah, watching her practice things, while guys it has been there. Stoyles are fun and season's been frustrating, other than maybe the Oh four eagles in the two thousand and seventeen and some more. We just coasted. Everyone is out of the upode now. But as far as like pure like enjoyment, like, I've just been amazed all. But it's frustrating because they had all this aspirations coming into the season, the Super Bowl talk, you know, and then it takes them till December to figure it out. I'm the type. I just like, I just I love adversity and everything like the fact. I mean going back, it is crazy to think that in that Atlantic game during warmups, they lost their top two receivers and yeah, got didn't in the Scottish and journeying and God or Yes, I mean that was insane. Huh, Huh. Yeah, I I think I think you touched on it earlier about it the new guys bringing fire, competitiveness and, to use Jason Kelsey's word, a hunger. HMM. That wasn't there with with the guys that were playing before. Carson's had that hunger because he didn't play in that Super Bowl. MMM. Carson's had that hunger since since that. He wants his own ring. He's grateful to nick for the ring, but he wants his own ring. And Jason Peters wants his own ring. Yeah, you know those guys that admit that are still here, that miss that game. They want their own ring and the should I sell his ring, just like these two burn notes when they would come back to explore who should sell it, said one should sell his right just to make sure he gets the other one. But these new guys that are stepping up, man, watching Boston Scott bounce off tacklers and gain yards. I mean five foot five guys that wait to a hundred pounds aren't supposed to do that. They're supposed to outrun everybody, but they're not supposed to bounce off at tacklers and get into the end zone or get it first down. That was a lot of fun watching him do that watching Greg Ward make catches, you know, in the back of the end zone, loft it in the air. That was a lot of fun. Do it over the highest paid corner in the League get right, right, and and watching Carson Zip that ball in the miles. Sanders. How many quarterbacks make that cut throw and how many players make that catch? And we'll have to be paced with Bozzlesy, because I remember everybody, including myself, was really high. And Corey Clement, HMM, you know. Yeah, where's he been? See, is he are ISS a? I are okay. So, like in especially when you have small our frames like you, are susceptible, susceptible to...

...that. But buses got really did have bad look, I mean being drafted by the saints to kind of replace sproles with. The problem was is he's behind Camara. And then whenever they do do some kind of, you know, third backplay, they bring in that Tyson Hill Guy who's, for whatever reason, like I don't know why, I just hate hear it everybody. It's just and it can take so many fantasy points. Yeah, like I had Michael Thomas and Camara and Taysom Hill would get throw a touchdown, catch it like. Yep, it's they're a touch on to himself. Yeah, but like it is. It will be really interesting to see what they do. But Tomorrows is the dance that will find out a lot of that, I think. I think all these new guys showing up and making such an impact that a contribution to me personally anyway. It makes me wonder what took them so long to get on the field? Why? Why did they take so long? That they're on the field, got on the story. Yeah, and and all. Well, yeah, and the front office has a lot of work cut out for themselves in the offseason. They have decisions to make and these guys had become fan favorites overnight. MM. And I think that's going to come into play maybe in sum of their decisions. I don't. Don't think sounding no, because, yeah, it's great that these guys are really provided so much for this team and there's a shoffing based exactly. Yeah, yeah, I think I think tomorrow could come. It could all come to an end very quickly. I mean, you get now, you have three or four games of film on these guys, you start figuring out their tendencies, what their strengthened weaknesses are and Seattle's a good team. They're well coached team. As much as Pete Carl gets hey and criticism and as much as people hate his showing gum and all that, you know, I he's a good coach and he'll figure some stuff out and it could all come to an end tomorrow, but we'll see. I mean it's a probably not a good comparison, but there's probably lot of one thousand nine hundred and ninety three phillies and these guys where they could even get very far. But it did. The rosters are going to look very, very, very, very very different next year. So I mean this is a good is lightning in a bottle? They could. Yeah, you just hope there's enough lighting to get you to exactly. Yeah, but I think it's I still think it's house money. Like I normally for gas. I'm like nervous. I'm I'm going to enjoy these. So every game tomorrow. You seem kind of these. So would you say the seasons like a success? For waps? For what? When you have that many injuries, you would have had every excuse to say, well, they were injured, and the fact that they still kept competing to me that's always this success, and it is true. It's like you never know that. I keep going back to two thousand and seven, two thousand and eleven, giants, nine and seven. Yeah, yeah, yeah, when are they this depleted? Even tyree man, I mean they they had right, but that was thing. They had. Random guys you'd never heard of stepped up. David Tyre time eate the team next. Yeah, he didn't. That's right. I mean think you just never know, right. Yeah, all right, we're we're going to cut out for a short little break. When we come back we will rehash the previous seahawks game at the link and get into some predictions and some PRAC top notsticating for the rest of the playoffs and hopefully we have the right, right calls on the game. All right, we're back in beautiful downtown Willer Grove, through such a thing, wot girls, beautiful homeland of Father Mike' spezzielle campus, minister's Artshop, carrol. Oh yeah, I didn't know. I didn't even know. He says he claims it's from the northeast, but he goes from the northeast ago little grove. So yeah, I don't consider this the northeast. No, it's not. He'Sy near that. He's not even close to this near it's near the northeast extension, as when I cann for it, it's not. I will say. Whom Miles? How big is will it grove?...

I just knew them all. Yeah, that's it. The the ride up here is a lot more scenic than I expected it to be. There's some, some, some, and we've had to go sidetrack a couple times, detours, and there are some amazing houses around here with some nice grounds. So prop the will grove, the Keppi Park would there's beautiful row homes. So chanting. Hey, well, I was at yourself. No, I was always impressed with him, like when I because I, you know, from Westchester, I never lived in a room. I was always shocked at when you went inside, how big they were. It's almost there. The widest row homes in Philly their twenty feet wide. Yeah, I never felt like crapt are. I think a lot of them had like and it was cool, like a lot of them had like different characters. There were some that were, you know, completely updating. There was some men literally preserved it from and I'm not saying that like like letting my so good first time I walked in. Everybody eves that Beautiful Aqua Blue Carpi. First Time we walked into our house to look at it, I felt like I was walking in the one thousand nine hundred and sixty five, which is when the house was built, because not a thing was done to that house. They're pretty indestructible, though I wouldn't go that far. They've been through a lot. They have been through a lot. Yes, it's a good house. It serves it serves its purpose, can argue. I grew up in a row house in southwest Philly. I currently live in a row house in Northeastville, so I'm used to it. It's been my life perfe good forever. Yeah, all right, let's get let's recap a little bit. What happened the last time these seahawks came in the town. They of course, won the game. Seventeen nine. I was a little surprised at the numbers as I was looking at him last night. Russell Wilson was one, thirteen, four, hundred and twenty five for two hundred yards, one touchdown at one interception and I if I remember correctly, there were some mis throws on his part, a couple drop passes on his receivers parts. So he and he only he ran three times for fifteen yards, which is underwhelming for him. You know, you think of him. You know. I got back to Frant Tarkington. You know, he was known as a scrambler to extend plays and he would pick up yards. Roger Stall back would do the same thing. That's how he got the nickname, that Roger Dodger. So Russell Wilson's in that same mold. The rush for three yards and only pick up there three times and only pick up fifteen yards. You know, when was the last time something like that happened for my last week? Well, yeah, the last game that that the will see looks play. Sad friend, I still think is the top defense. But also, when you you've seen what has happened in this team, they're still good. They're still a very formidable opponent and I can I still oh, yeah, I know we're doing the underdog car but I can understand why they're favored. But when you take away Carson, Chris Carson, and you take away precise there are very different team, and this is what the advantage is that we're going to have them while, yes, we have a lot of injuries, but they've had six or seven weeks to now adjust there, and they have. They've completely changed their game plan for how they attack each game and it Brough. I think the Seattle is still trying to figure out what they're going to do. Like they brought him. was shown, which shows you that they still going to try to run the ball. But if that team cannot establish the run and then all of a sudden you don't have to load the box and you can essentially put a linebacker on Wilson, that's what's going to happen. What good? Yeah, and lock it. He's been looking kind of shaky to it looks slow. Yeah, he got hurt and he came back. I don't know if you got rushed back, but he hasn't looked the same. Well, that was the other point I was going to bring up. Richard Petty killed this. He had only what team fourteen runs for a hundred twenty nine in yards. Of It was that huge run, though. Yeah, but he only right. How many yards did he get on that run? I think it was like a fifty yard run. Okay, so I mean he's still were team bronze. He still had over gave the yards. That was out of all the games the most frustrating one for me because because wins look terrible. The offense was terrible. Yeah, that was a fresh rame. We actually should have blown them out. We have it was still in printable. Game West said it was a level in least ten twenty points on sor it, whence was three thousand, three, four hundred and forty five. Yeah, that, I think, that's your problem. Forty five. That's you're that was just that was his worst game of the year. Yeah, he had torch of fifty six yards of touch down at two interceptions. The forty five is the big problem there, I think, as folmost he had at least one. Yeah, but that was when they were still so out of sink Ye. I mean you can see that they couldn't even get simple handoffs. I'll remember that horrible fumble like yeah, maybe they still hadn't figured out what they had. And in Boston, Scott and just that's what I say always tell people like you know, i Christmas break, which was very nice, so you have a chance to be back and just not just watch highlights, watch film. GET NFL. That was called game zone, but NFL...

...it called now even look at it, twenty, the twenty two thing that you watch. Yes, I'll know. So I know it's all twenty Doo, but the actual packs are they have whatever, even their sponsor. But you can, mean you can pay a little bit and you can get complete film and You can get all twenty two, which means you can watch all the snaps on each side. And they just looked so confused all the way up until that first game against the giants at home, and whatever happened in that second half is I it was very similar to back in two thousand and seventeen when they really looked awful all the way up until the second hat, like when Nick foles went in. Yeah, they rallied around and beat the seahawks and they kind of squeaked by the other teams. There was like a switch that one off in that second half of the Atlanta game. Remember they were doing. They were down ten, six on Nicolas through an interception. That probably would have ended the game but from them when they came out in that second half and then they just kind of coasted all the way through. That's kind of what has happened with them, is they've just found they really found a rhythm, and that's so big in football and you're not seeing the stupid mistakes that they were right making early on. I know he had a fumble that he, you know, bounced on again, but for the most part there's no there's no these like we're carson doesn't look like if she you have, you know, I want to. People have watched. He's been so decisive with every throw. He's not really holding onto the ball, he's not double clutching. It's like, all right, I know Greg's going to be there, I'm going to throw I know the Gaus is going to be there, I'm going to throw it. He's the old at. He's taken what the Defense Gizlm. He's not trying to make a home run with every throw. You know he's willing to take that that five yard pass down, you know, check down past whatever. I think he's grown, you know, the last five six weeks as a quarterback and he's grown in the position, matured into a position where he's making a smarter football decision as opposed to trying to who make everything up one or two plays. And even, slowly but surely, he even now has started taking a couple of down field shots, like the that was called back with Robert Davis. He's through a couple, you know, just to try to see but whether there's so. But I mean they are going the biggest thing tomorrow and the big thing they're always going to be, which is what Doub Peterson wants this time with possession. They went all the way up to second in the League. So it's going to be attrition here on and that forty five has to come down at the want time to possess their big thing. Last week to or the last time they played the seahawks too. From what I remember, they got beat on that touchdown. Piss because there's a trick play, I believe. Yes, it was a throwbacks and stretch where the gap three or four trick plate. Yeah, it's well situate tri it's I think you're going to see a lot of those toy I think they're gonna have to be Cuz see hot. I think they're gonna throw. They're gonna do it again tomorrow, I think too. I think they're going to try. Yeah, if you watch what our safeties do, I would do the same thing. They bite on everything they come up and I don't know if that's a testament to because they don't know how the corners will play it up up close. McLeod and change was jakets and the rentitions is always up the safe that I like to do that. Yeah, and the irony is that they're doing that so that there's not a big runner play and they end up creating big runs. Right, doing right. You got to stay with your man and hopefully somebody up front makes that play. Tomorrow will be a completely different game from the first. Meeting two teams act that can where they're two completely different teams. Right now Seattle's lost four ending in the opposite directord. SEATTLES lost foreign a row for the eagles. One for in a row then, not getting that by and I killed them right. Yeah, that's their head having to fly like I mean it's then that was enough. That was a tough game last week. A lot of tough, tough downs and big hits. Yeah, yeah, a really grueling game. So I don't know if that takes a toll enough too. And Sanders only had twelve runs the last time for sixty three yards. And Look, stay through for Freddy, five through, forty five, forty five time. Yeah, that's your problem right there. I don't hurts had twelve catches, not he want yards and a touch down. Yeah, there was no balance in that offense and I was saying this didn't have near the confidence he has now. He put the one. Neither the Boston Scott he played. He had a nice game against buffalo and that would have been up. That pretty much had been it up until that point. And then, agree, in Green Bay, they boath. He did had a good game. Yeah, I agree. That was Jordan Howard's game. Yeah, yeah, that was there. there. I think there are two teams going in the opposite directions and I want to get into a little bit with that on on Seattle. So what are we looking at tomorrow? It's Carson's first time into playoffs. Got Question this. This validate him finally as a franchise quarterback, as a as a top tier NFL quarterback? Yes, well, has he, or has he already accomplished that? From twenty seven, I was just going to say no, because he's already done and he's and I agree he's already accomplished and shown that he could be a franchise quarter if some were evil, how still hold on to he hasn't done it yet. Blah, blah, blah. Nick Blah, blah, Blah Blah. So if I agree, he's already done it and he said that's a problem with this fan base.

We need to move on from folds. Stop bringing up folds every time you bring up the eagles in the playoffs. It's over with you. Could you imagine if they had traded Carson and kept nick? Look as getting some of them and all those people that I see on facebook twitter saying that we should have ket falls. How fols do in a regular season? This year he's stunk. Well, how do you do to begin the season? Last year in the regular season, those first first, two three games, he was not good. Is watched absolutely no Jaguars football this season, but just look at the numbers. What kind of offense were they running? With the Eagles, they run an offense. There's kind of is. They're similar. They're similar. He has a lot of similarities, honestly, between Fitzpatrick, where if he gets on a streak, yes, or and then, and then people talk themselves into this guy should be starting. But over sixteen games, no, right, right. It's when they can get in the rhythm, yes, but that's eventually going to run into a team that's going to stop you and then all of a sudden you're gonna go through a low and and that was always my thing about nick folds. He's good for a stretch, but I don't think he was a starter. For Sixteen Games. He was a guy. He was, you know, he was at top notch backup quarterback, but I don't know if he was ever. Is Starter Materials Sy the best scene back up quarterback ever? Yes, absolutely. Never. Yeah. Well, no, I would have to have to say Steve Young was when he was like enough, Joe Mont at. What about Brady? He backed up blood, see, he backed up drew bled cell yeah, and day boys, Dandy, white black. Fact. Well, I think folds is as backups. Yes, I think holds, yes, the true definition of a backup quarterback. Yes, and I think he's the best backup ever. But you neither guy's your team. Like that's why I'm satally have mcdown, for we know, God forbid if you ever had to go in. But like that's why he was a type. He was back up and be like Oh, he's doing some things that give them, but you know, make him a starter and like no, they there are franchise quarterbacks and what they basically are is they can play a full sixteen game season, give you a chance to win every week and play in the playoffs, essentially. Yeah, right, and then there's the mediocre ones that just they need to have everything go really well from the right for them to be successful. So now I'm sure that people from the dolphins like, well, maybe should give Mike, you know, Fitzpatrick, you know, a contract next Chan. It's like it's gonna be in the same problem again. Yeah, all right, enough about nick. I find this hard to believe, but I heard this week on the radio that Schwartz is d in the playoffs at home since two thousand and seventeen is ranked first. Yeah, they're, they're. Well, they're very good at home. Well, would they give up thirteen to Atlanta? Six To what? MINNESOTA? Yes, or seven minutes? Like yess, so that would yeah, that would do it. Yeah, twenty point and then well, there's are the only yeah, games he's had. Yeah, so, no, but even in the regular season they're good. Teams are different team fens at home. Yeah, during the RECAS season, correct, and I think a lot of that is from the crowd. Yes, it is it. Yeah, fact, everything great pain defense is better at home, every last every single should be. Yes, yeah, now, I agree. Every defense is and should be better at home because they're a crowd factor and creating penalty even off. Even lace year on their little run, they played well in Chicago, which is a tough place to play, and then in New Orleans, even a tougher, they held drew brees. So what, twenty one points, twenty four points, something like that? I mean they're good defense. We can in the playoffs, which is besides the Super Bowl, I mean, but that was just a flow the shootout. Yeah, that was ways just want defense. made a play and hopefully, thankfully, it was already answer. They just don't need to. They really don't need to take risk on defense. ME. No, yes, they complete. I really would hope that. I mean, he's really been playing a lot of man last couple weeks and I know they've gotten burned a couple times, but when you play man, I think honestly you can. There's times to play his own. It's noting like you play man every single time, but it's I have a problem when like you switched to his own defense like this. We're going to play the whole game, because when you play man, it really does something to the d back, especially the quarterbacks back. All right, play, man up, time to man up, time to compete, and then that's really when you find out who's a good quarterback can who's not, and that's what I've been impressed with Sydney Jones is there's been times where he got beat but he's kept playing, even Hustle Douglass, who's probably not a tough like cornerback, not God, but he keeps competing. Jail and Mills keeps competing, you know, and and you make a good point with Sidney Jones. How many times is this so much skill he really does this organization could he gave up on him so many times and he could have gave up on himself, but he always comes back and he makes he's been making plays and I hope tomorrow they give him an opportunity to do that again, because I think he will. I think he's finally found that confidence in himself and the reason why he was drafted so high and why he could have been drafted in the first round. And I can't really...

...seen his speed. Yeah, when he wants to, looks like he looks like the player that everyone thought he was going to be right, reminds, you know, he reminds me a lot of he's not nearly as good, not even close, but he runs a lot of usante Samuel. How he can just close is the dreads part of that. And he where's twenty two? Yeah, that's that's a probably bigger thing. But I love like the but you know, Assante was never afraid of anybody like that's why everybody loved him. That's why I get he would take risks and Ballhwk, and that's why you'd also get beat. He also couldn't tackle a lucky either. But you know, watching him stay stuff for stuff with Gallup, who's not a slouch. Now see, even knowing he's not, that's it's just been really interesting to say. And that that play he made at the end of that game. I think let's whosted his confidence the rest weekends the giants. He made the game ceiling pick too. So yeah, yeah, I hope he I think he's earned that opportunity. Need to make a play tomorrow. I hope. I'd rather see him over soul. I'm tired of looking at a pass down field and seeing thirty two still running up to the receiver yard behind the receiver, non tround. Yeah, like I think you're going to see a lot of five defensive back personnel. I think you're going to see a lot of that, especially if they're able to stop the defensive line is able to stay on in the line bad. That's the thing. I think Seattle comes out and tries to smash mouth football. They do, but because their officitive line, except for last week, is to Sund like you can. Yeah, that's with them, and they did for the most I know you got that big run, but for the most part they were keeping the wrung game and check what happened with the defense was with their injuries. They got worn down because our offense up, given they are, time of possession was atrocious that game. So we just kept giving them the ball back and they just got worn down. So if we can flip the script on that, seattle coming across the country is going to be gassed if we can dominant hand time possession. If you watch last week, Sam Frank could easily blown out Seattle. That game could have been over quick, but see outlet that game was going to yes, quite Seattle fault right back into the ethers. Can they not allow that out if if you give that team a little bit of confidence late in the game, it's over. Because you give Russell Wilson any bit of confidence late in the game with the ball in his hands, it's over. You're dawn. So that's what you gotta you gotta limit that. If you're up, if you're the eagles and you go up fast, you got to keep the metal. There's a few quarterbacks you go they can carry an entire team on their back, and he's he's one of them. Yeah, all right. We we've already spoken about Seattle being banged up. Their started running backs are out their their defense wasn't very good late in the season. Down the stretch they lost three out of four games. They gave up an average of twenty seven points in those games. They gave up an average of four hundred six yards a game and they gave up an average of a hundred fifty three running yards in their last five games. Amazingly, a standingly, they gave up two hundred fifty three running yards against Arizona cardinals, which when I saw that, and they lost, of course, they lost a GA thirteen. How much of it was I saw that? I think Kyler had like two big runs and Kenyan drake had like a ninety yard run. Well, that was everything was still. Yeah, I mean you're given up two hundred and fifty three d there, beat there, beat, battered and beaten to. Yeah, and but they just they can win games because right COSE LUSCO wills they compete. Clown, he's clown. He's hurt, he's playing, but clown he's there. Michael Kendricks, I think, rinses out. I think he's out because he got a bed injury last week. I think one of their corners is banged up. Yeah, they're just like us. They're they're badied up. Yeah, it eventually if we can control the clock. I mean we can't, we can impose our will in that second half. That the opening, the opening quarter, is going to be so big. It really is. Yeah, yeah, going to be so bids and I think they'll come out throwing. I really do. I think dog wants to come out and throw ball. Yeah, they come if they with those numbers against the month. He if you. I feel like they've done that all here. They come out throwing in second half. They just smash mouth and he's very much is still a very west coast off of yeah, absolutely. Yah. It's literally canny road, a sad andy read to point, but he's willing to run the ball. Where the yeah, you rea more open to that, but this is and you can throw. When you have a quarterback a carsons, you can't be afraid to throw. You can. I don't have any problem throwing the ball. Yeah, they had. He has to get him into a rhythm. Very likely. But I when I look at these numbers, I'm like, we gotta come out running tomorrow, and I think they will. But I think they're going to definitely going to try to feed off playing at home. If they can go and get some points on the first drive, defense gets the stops, get points on the next drive, then you can really start running the ball right on them. So what how we see tomorrow? All what all our what did the keys to a win? Fast start, run off the I mean that will be the biggest thing if they come out and lay an egg, and I mean all of a sudden, because Seattle will will probably try to find any out every opportunity after coming across the country, be like, you know what, it's not our year, and players will do that, you know, especially after last week and when you get stopped on the centimeter yard line winning,...

...maybe it's just not your year, you know. Yeah, I mean that's a good point. But how about putting four quarters together? Yeah, yeah, string up a full game together, because all season'll have one quarter where they flip the switch and they take over, but they can't put work quarters together. Or, if you're this is the time where you have to do it. It's the playoffs, it's winner go home. You have to put together four quarters and you have to limit the big place against Russell Wilson, and that is my concern, because the playoffs have a great way of exposing all of your flock. Oh yeah, because no, no bad team's left, no bad defense has left, no, you know, garbage teams. After all, if you can limit the big plays from Russell Wilson, whether it's a run or pass down field, you have a good chance of when' I mean we're playing at eleven win team. Yeah, that's a WILDCAR team. Yeah, and they played in a tough division. HMM. I honestly think the I honestly believe the first quarter will tell you everything about the game. It could. Well, it could, but how many times have the eagles come out and stunk in the first half of the game, cut and made a Jossminson come out and played better in the sect triew. So I can't we again tomorrow. You cannot do that to what those were against vastly. I fear Your Seattle is too good of a team where if you're down there early against them, they're not going to let up. Now you can't come back and say like all right, we'll get him that night. Gotta keep it mean. You know you've been a put a playoff atmos for you at the link. It's not quite the vet. Yeah, but it's very, very hard to put there. So really, Dog Mask allowed tomorrow? Are they allowed to bring them? I don't know, but the last guy my saw guy with wanted. I have you see the wolf masks. I know that's kind of the Cole brand. What a great little segment that was yesterday. Still remember him from the real world as a kid. But on. My key to the game tomorrow is, I think, two things. We need to come out established to run against those numbers. I you know it's numbers are screaming at me run the ball. And the other thing I think is the defense has to contain and player Lane and don't let Russell Wilson kill you with his legs. Make them beat you with the arm. I know he can. He makes throws. He's a good throwing quarterback, but he's dangerous, when I mean he's beyond dangerous, when he gets out of the pocket and he scrambles, he's either going to run for a first down or he's going to run right up to that line and then chuck the ball thirty yards down field to a wide open receiver. So that defensive line needs to be on point, playing their lanes, containing Russell Wilson. Don't let him get outside. Fletcher, Cotch, cocks, cocks, I think, is the biggest key and he has to show up tomorrow and earn that check. Derek Barnett is key, if you notice, and meets talking about sort, look it up. Act Back Your run defense came right back. If so, he's another big he's picking up in a pass for us too. He's a good. Yes, so good. Is he going to be a best titan or demons in the League? No, but he's a really, really sound played to his full potential and full he's a healthy, good defensive end. Yeah, I'm some one you saw it the super bowl year. He had a good year. Joky year was a good yeah, but he saw the stay out and these net and say he's Nasty's got any the first round tramp, you saw the potential and on his rookie year. It's unfortunate that he's into injuries. But if you can play up to his potential, he's a good pass hrusher off they to get back, you know, to the visual play of the game is. You got to also put yourself in the mind of Seattle. All right, they're gonna come in and try to take away our best then, which is, honestly, is going to be the screen game. So they're good with I think they're going to do is force us to pass. So if you come in and be like all right, we're a lowing the box, what we're still going to just try to run anyway you have. Carson is gonna have to throw and I'm comfortable with that. After what I've seen the last month, how he has developed with these receivers, I'm comfortable with that. So I think, actually, I think they come out up tempo. I think they come out throwing. That would be my oven. I would like that. I think Carson's better with the Harry up. He knt. Yeah, cars in. Yeah, look, every quarterback, but he soon as he gets in the rhythm early, it's all right, here we go. Yeah, even a short passing game. You know, it's an extension of the money could sair. That's what this couple weeks has reminded me a little bit of two thousand and seventeen. Obviously not with the same level of talent, but you saw like the difference when you can come out, even if you just get three points, but coming out running the ball, getting something. All right, things start rolling out and you don't put yourself in Steich, a huge hole. I mean, I hate the little rain on the parade here. But as good as the offense is looked, you gotta remember who they played. Yeah, they played by red skins. They beat the giants twice. Now I get in and I got cowboys. Was there tie match? You know what? But they paid bill the confidence all through those games. Yeah, I can't build camaraderie. They have chemist. Absolutely, but you got horsing. Carson looks really well. You know he he's Helms. Aren't going against that. Play for drank. He's making throws two guys. Guys are making those catches.

You know they came from the practice squad. So I don't care if they're playing against the high school team. If they can't catch the ball, they're not going to catch the ball. And what they caught the ball and it's still the NFL. I know there's teams that are really bad, but it's still the NFL. That's how the Miami Dolphins beat New England. In New England, you look. I mean if you get another New England had something. The place is a scary time of year. This is why they give they made all the Games, divisional games, because doesn't matter, even if the division teams are terrible, they're going to compete. Yep, yes, but it will. It will be very interest. I think it's gonna be such a I think it's going to be high score. I'm glad the weather is nice. Tomorrow it's shouldn't be. It's going to be windy, I think, little bit supposed to be calling in Chilie, but no rain of snow. Kick off as forty degrees. Yeah, it'll be wind chills going to beat down in the S and body ended a game. That actual temperature is going to be like mid thirty S, but it's going to be sabty. It's gonna at forty. It's time. It's gonna be a great atmosphere down there. I mean, yeah, I really would. Let's go. Everybody's going to be, you know, extra three hours. Yeah, getting getting the battery charged, so to speak. Great, you great, great euphemism, getting the battery charge. Now we get my battery charge and knight fellows. Yeah, sorry, all right. So get some predictions going for for the eagles game and we'll try and get some in for the other playoff games. Let's see the playoff game, the playoff, all the playoff games. First, see the best for less bills. It Texans Goes Mafia. I yeah, tend to agree with Texas. Of the same time. I've said it before. This same team every season. They get to this, they get to the wild card around, they look good in the regular season, but they never show up in the playoffs. I'm gonna go with the bills. Yep, I think they're too much on a offense. Yep, I agree. Titans at the PATS. Can't bet against pets has yeah, that's pissed off red hot, but the Patriot that Patriots at home in the playoffs. Yep, after losing to Miami in the last yeah, that story. And I was home from work yesterday. What were we watching? CAL heard we're watching calherd. Yesterday caltered. Yeah, preferably he. He had a segment where all they talked about was is this the end of the dynasty for the Patriots? Is this Tom Brady's last game in a patriot? That's all they need to hear and watch. Is that garbage being said? It's I'm just his over and every over. Every sports show has right segment. All that's going to make them do is going to come out tomorrow and put up footy points and make it look easy. Still hundred twelve games. Yes, I don't understand all the in that division. It's not that hard to do. But yes, they still hundred twelve and tomorrow they'll figure everything out. Yeah, the offense will be looking like they're going to come out put up three points and that's might score twine. That's been a segment on sports shirts for the last three years. One of the Patriots done the last three years, all going through the Super Bowl. They're two and one. Yeah, in the Super Bowl, because you watch something to happen doesn't mean it's going to happen. That's what'll be doing. Wins. Yeah, probably what two thousand and fourteen with them. It's just not the old you'll know. You will know when it's exactly. You would have to try to guess what is it? No, when it's over, everybody, when you talk about it, stop, stop feeding into it right now. I hate it. Yea. Now this is the other important game as far as we're all concerned and I think it's going to be the other entertaining game on the weekend docket. Vikings at the saints. I think the saints blow them out. Thanks. How yeah, the Minnesota is playing really the bad they've been leaking oil and and the Alvin cooks on a hundreders, don't you know? Is He playing? Alvin Cook? I know he's not a hundred percent. And Saints at home in the playoffs. You know they have their revenge tour for the second year in a row. I think they come out fired up. Drew brees is Red Hot right now. They really are one of the most unlikable teams. I think some memory they really are. I think they're scarier than than the niners. Absolutely. I think they're way, especially at home. Yeah, Yep, diners have his obviously talent, which we'll talk a nine of the diners. They are in French tonners. I don't know if you can beat the saints. The Saints Offense can outscore anybody. It's yeah, it's going to be hard to beat the saints at home. And Eric, they're a two seat. I know they are there niners of the one seed. niners are the one seat. Now Hastings are the shoes saying there are three there to thirty packers of the two. Yeah, that's right. How does right? Yeah, so don't get the one game tomorrow. Depended on how things shake out with the other our game, they'll probably not get another home game. Maybe he was very possible to see a Packers Eagles and NC championship. Oh, I know, it's food carries. I'm playing with house money. You got to look down the road. Let's let's set them full forty now, don't do this. Don't do this sort. I'm actually surprised of Viking Saints. Isn't the forty game. I am too, because, I mean it's the last good. Who are you really excited to see an eagles and eagles, see alleehawks game, Russell Wilson and once that's it...

...really. I mean, Yep, now I agree this because that that's Sunday I game. They weren't going to do that to them. Yeah, all right, the big game for tomorrow. I got you listed first for your prediction. There, pod, who Um high. I think it's going to be highest scoring than you think. I think they I do think they come out hot, because that's that's what they've been doing in the past coal weeks. They've really avoided the slow start. They've had some laws, but they've really avoided really like painfully frustrating starts. I think they come out, I think they can move the ball, I think they come out throwing. I think they get on a lead. I think Seattle makes a run towards the end of the second quarter. I think we be a jaw so they can come out and I think it's going to be kind of this. We score a couple, they score a couple and then we just kind of close it out in the final seven minutes. So score probably twenty three. Doesn't that high scoring, but higher scoring than will think. I don't know if anybody can will get into the s but I also would not be shocked, though, with how injured Seattle is, like I'm sick with that prediction. I wouldn't be shocked if we do come out and just turn it up, though, at the same time, just because if when teams, you know there's hot teams that, once they get on a run getting a rhythm, to tough to stop. All right, DJ, what are you got? Yeah, Russell Wilson in the playoffs really scares me. I mean you just have to limit the big playability from him, whether it's extending a play down field or just a simple ten yard run to pick up a first down. I mean you have to limit Russell Wilson to those big plays and the eagles offense has to get going early and they can't get shut down. They can't afford backtoback three and ounce, you know. I mean they have to get some sort of jobs going early and I think this comes down to whoever has the ball last. Unfortunately, I think that's the seahawks. Come on, now he's getting pizza goes every week. It's good, I really I'm just scared. Russell Wilson just scares him. I think Russell Wilson and the crunch time is too good, but crutch time his head sounds matter. He has pretty like he's not captain watching that every town and and people. I do think you want her good points. He does not have the best numbers in the playoffs. People are brought that up and that's true. He doesn't. I mean he's not this big. You know, Tom Brady guys actually had some really bad first hands in the playoff, which is what I just don't I just don't know if this defense can stop them. I think it's going to be twenty, three hundred and twenty seahawks. I think it comes down to the last. I can feel home. You're walking home. You know, slee, you know how I see this game. Remember the two thousand and thirteen wild card round against the saints at home? Yeah, I see it playing out like that. Lets larity. Eagles leave the field with the leaders or tied up and the defense can hold them. You are walking hots, I sis. That's how I say it now. How I used to ask you if you were how would you get home from here? Yeah, there you go, I got them. Bron Uber. The other extractors actually think the kicking game, field goals are going to play. He's special teams are huge. I think we have the yeah, I agree that. Yeah, that's been all a little bit. Well, hopefully that fifty yard or gets some. Yeah, but he knows the link. Yeah, that always. That is always the vanish of the kicker. Yeah, all right, Mr Producer, cave on had it. What do you see for Tomorrow's game? I'm my predictions. Seventeen, I think the eagles defense at home. I think they only eagles defense at home is average, like sixteen points, given up, sixteen points. Yeah, so I can see it being a pretty low scoring game. Twenty one, seventeen, eagles, eagles. Good job, kid. You need a ride home now? I'm good, all right, because I got an open seat now. All right, I also see an eagles win. I think it's I don't want to say it's going to be a comfortable game, but I think we're able to keep them at arms length the entire game where we're one, one to two scores up on them from the second quarter on. I see is coming out running the ball, being successful at it. That up tempo style that Carson has been comfortable with lately. They're they're going to mix it up with the pass and if they have to go to the past, I feel comfortable that they're able to do that. Boston Scott catches the ball, miles sanders catches the ball. You got two great tight ends. Even if one is out, still got that great tight end with Dallas Goddard. He catches the ball and he actually breaks contact first contact and gains more yards. The receivers have really stepped up, especially my man Greg Ward. YOU GOING TO GET HIS JERSEY? I just might, if you know what. You know what? If he makes a...

...game winning touchdown tomorrow, you get his Jersey. All right, we'll say yeah, I'll, I'll do that. All right. I've been saying for two years the guy should be on the team because all he does is catch the ball. He's not a number one, he's not a number two, he's a he's a possession receiver, he's a, I think, a solid slot guy, and you know, he's really come alive the last month or so. The other guys, Perkins, who was it? Burnett, down down tape, down taper and as on taper and at whatever it is those guys have have have shown up. You know, they they make the most of their opportunities. They just signed show and Gibson to yeah, yes, back again and, I think, more importantly, to defense is going to be able to they must contain Russell Wilson, contain the damage that he creates, especially, you know, when he goes to try and extend the play. Yeah, there's gonna be a lot of read options, he said. There's gonna be a lot of design runs for him, and and and that defensive line, I think the keys the defensive line getting after him and containing him and keeping them in that pocket and making them throw the ball. To Beach You, I'm not afraid of Marshall and Lynch anymore. I'm not afraid of anybody else. They got running the ball. It's Russell Wilson or bust, and if they can contain his damage, I think they win the game. I'm going to look for a seventeen win from our birds. Were great game, I really yeah, it's I feel like there's too much confidence in the eagles from a lot of people. I don't know. People are disrespecting the seahawks and Russell Wilson. I don't think they want to say they want eleven games and what would I just say? Yeah, I know they're not the same team. I am that they wore no but to start, I'm watching. I was listening to Mike Misson Eli yesterday. A lot of callers really all, I think the eagles, you know, when hit sing when handedly, I'm like how where do you don't think that's going to happen? I don't think that's going the seahawks. One hundred and eleven games. Yeah, eleven games, the UNIFLMS top of primarily they were done, though, with when they had a healthy back. Right. They're not the same team, they're not, but they're probably peace a tough day. Are Actually it's in Shan Ass. They are priory now, closer to a nine and sevent team than we are. True, yeah, based on that's it. That's a based on what they have now. Ye, guess. But you know, Pete Carols, we played more, coach. Are we playing more like a eleven to five team or nine and seventeen right now up? Well, you look at our opponents, though, blest, you Hor Games, you have to break. They have game plays schedule. It's just the way that I know. I know they don't hate older schedule. You're going to tell me those guys weren't even touch the big place spoiler. They beat the packers Ingran Bay and they beat Buffalo and Buffalo. This is where legitimate wins. And you know, the cowboys came here, you know, in the division. I saw the play for Ya, I know. And they I don't decide. I will say the SEAHOFFS. I could easily see them winning this game. Easily. I do think they have still a great amount of town. But there is a lot to say. bubblementum. They're coming in week. They're coming in basicle on a losing street and were well when it is they were last five as the lost worn a row. I believe, I think, because we're there, eleven and five and they were like no, they lost straight in a row. Then, yeah, three or four, nor, I think they were. They were. I think they want that. Their last five went. When loss, when lost laws these meet the forty nine is the first time. Like that was our best. How they had I was like nine. You know, I think they like eating one. Yeah, that was our best game. They had all young. So yeah, they could have. I guess they could have been like nine in two. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, they one point late in the season. They still only had the two losses. Yeah, all right. We want any infuriating sixers talk to and I don't know if I'm ready for that yet. I will say that I'm ready to move on from Brep Brown. Sixers need to write a thank you letter to the eagles, because if the eagles had yes, Rashtion, wow, there would be a riot down. The world will be ending right now in Philadelphia. He I think he could be. They would. They're probably be fire prep bound. Brett Brown chance in the crowds. Oh, absolutely, there might be. There might be. Monday night they're playing at home. It's the thunder that that overtime game that they lost. Who was that of guy? That was against Miami. Yeah, the think that there were two things that really concerned me that professional basketball players should know better than to attempt to do. Number one was the miss. Don't buy to bias. You're winning the game. There was less than thirty seconds. I don't know if the shot clock was turned off, but there was less than thirty seconds in the game. He was going in for the killing, the dunk, but you're already winning the game.

You do not have to shoot the ball until the shot clock gets down. On their five he goes in for the donk off the fast break misses, they get the possession and they go down hit the three. The other thing that killed me was jewel and bead up near half court getting triple teams not fight and trying to get failed as opposed to keeping the ball moving and running the clock down the zero and he gets the ball stripped away by Jimmy Butler. They go down and at the at the shot to end, the theme of the day, I will say, as the and you can look at the eas in the Sixers, the reason that the fans have fall in love with this team as which it doesn't take much, but the reason they have fall in love with this team particularly is because of the level at which they compete. And there's nothing right that gets under this city skin worse and the team that does not compete. They drives them, not specially when they have talent. If they're just bad, well then they're bad, but when they have talent and they don't compete, this is why you see fire, but Brown that and I don't hunch you. I don't know if you guys watch the game last night, but I don't know how many possessions I watched. We're guys just stood around on offense. Yeah, evencause Scott like standing like players that that's on this team. Looks that's on the coach. You're down twelve, I think it was, or the third, fourth, fourth quarter. And guys, it's just one on one basketball. Run a damn play, get some flow of offense, something everybody, and everybody's waiting for somebody else to make a play. Yes, yeah, they rely too much solely on their talent. They don't come together as they don't work as a team. They still have enough talent where team should be out of the game by the start of the segment. I know we were talking about earlier, like you were talking about and I said like, if this is still a problem in February, then they have no, it's a problem now. It was a problem in October. No, they re find it was a problem. I find in October they were like the to sees almost like the bucks game is like the worst thing to happen to yes, that was. They play and will show me one of only when they want to order on the national TV after that game. They've been literally doing in the Connor McGregor, you know, Strut into every game. That's been unbelievable. Yeah, they do what they did to Milwaukee on Christmas Day because everybody was watching, and then they come out and they suck against Orlando, Miami and and yesterday against and that's on the coach as well, because one of the things as a couch you gotta safeguard is like you have to look at, you know, the in between numbers of that game. They shot the franchise record out of all that's not gonna happen every game. And they think they can do that now every game. And at that game against the Indiana was atrocious. Yeah, we all you had to say is like, guys, look, we have talent, all right, when we walk we just Shay with it, you know. But if I'm Brett at that Christmas Day game, I'm saying it, Joel, where's it every night? Right, where's that every night? You could use that. He's not getting the best in his his ass to yeah, he there prove too cozy. You just proved to everyone that you are the best senter in the NBA. Now he's not. Auntie Davis is clearly taken over the best center in the NBA. But and beach showed Christmas a why he can be the best center in the NBA and they just like when it comes to like, they don't like like. I would have thought this team would love crunch time when it's but they shrink when it when it gets to clunch time. Yep, ore crunch time. It's unbelievable. A lot right Brown doesn't know how to coach their last the last four minutes in particular, it's like either they're about to blow a big lead, a team will just start to distance himself or they'll just completely like it's unbelievable. They think they have many stopped. They have a couple home games coming up. I hope that straight like works it out for them, but I don't know. I mean, and it was so interesting with Benson and says and this is not ultimately how you want to play. But you know why the record is so good at home is because, like, I mean, they were literally afraid of being booted, like they're petrified of it. Yeah, but we have to as fans, we almost have to bully them to get them to play. Well, Yep, what? You shouldn't have to do anything. It took shack and Charles to get and beat the yeah, I hope. I wish shack and Charles ALD come out right now and say again something about the sexer so I could figure it out. Yeah, I was damn like. They're those two players who I love, Ben and Joe. You know, Ben and Joel have been coddled well front office. Yet they've been here. They have talent, but they as of right now, they don't compete and they don't have hall. What did Moses blown say to Charles Bark when he first game in the League? You're a fat SLOB. You need to get your stuff like. They had people like their Joel, and then it was kind of the one of the problems of the process. They had a couple veterans, but who got in their face? Buddy? Yeah, who told Joe How to? You need to get in shape right if you want a big contract. Yeah, you know they are. They are coddled way too much. And yes, we're going there in infuriating team right now. I can't everyone thing. You know, they're might. They kind of remember the phillies all out there. Yeah, the hot start, everyone's like, all right, maybe this could be a good team, and then they just implode and like one injury is like they can't overcoming yeah, my chiefs goes down and seasons fall and my chess has up. He's been Arma...

Cutchen. It's like a yeah, that's good. Say Same Humbers, same number two. It's weird. It's weird, but not not a superstar, but a side player. Right, it's a cool now we yeah, it was seasons over and they went not this for game losing streak, the recent one, but the previous three game losing streak. They went from a tow seed to a six seat. Yeah, in less than a week because they lost three. They are and where are they? They still have if he go to the place as a fist seed, they're in trouble. Wow, they're colonel had to play like India team that hat. I'm on the road. Yeah, I see them right now going anywhere from six to if they they're plaving the seventh seed right now. If they have to play Miami or Indiana first round, there they're don because Miami matches up so well with us. Jimmy will intimidate the hell out of yeah, I've never seen it like I remember when they really brought in the zone again. I was a kid and remember you know that well. But like when they really when they really brought the zone into the league. What was it? Two Thousand and two? That long ago? Yeah, it was. I'm Roush's a little kid and I remember it really hurt the two thousand and one six ers because they didn't have any shooters. That's what this is reminded me of. EERILY in to look but bit, but also Larry Brown adjusted. Browns doesn't. It doesn't know how to adjust to see how this team just like it's just they've never seen his own. And the last let's Brown, thirteen years in the NBA, that nobody has seen his own. Since then it's just UNBELIEVA. Ever since the sixers lost, for one that the Celtics two years ago, when Brett Brown completely got exposed. Teams have figured that out like it's I don't know what it is. Brett Brown just doesn't know how to adjust to what. You're not forced to shoot up you're not going to shoot. Yeah, right, right, and Ben's refusal to shoot is literally all you have to do against the sixers. Just collapse. Aline, yes, Protactine, you wist, now take there's nobody to respect ant on the perimeter. Nobody. I do think it major trade is coming in yeah, you know, I think a major tradel. I don't know what this everyone's talking about. Ben and Joe, you're not drowned. They're not going to tread the no, I think. But I think Corford is very I think we think you're probably I think they are. I don't know who wants why what. He stinks. You see him over this stretch. He's avers like three points. He's been I don't know too much from the outside. I don't know what happened to him. I don't know what happened. I don't know if Father Times catching up with him or what. He's looks three pace this like if he was thirty eight of that Guy Right, but mean he's and I you wonder, is there too much congestion in the paint with him and him bead on offense? Maybe that's why there's no flow either, because who do you put down low? Horford, and would it because they're both the same player? Be Honest, if we want to have an honest conversation, horford probably would be much better to just on the bench and giving. I would like to see, I were freaking actill. I would like to see Horford come off the best. I think yeahs a six man, Yep. And and this guy that they have in a g league, Shay Shayok or something. He's killing it. Why are they not brought him up yet? He gets some sort of spark off the beasts. Yeah, the whole shoots, he jibs, he plays, he averages like thirty points in a GE league. I think Mike's killing it. I think Mike Scott will be on the trading block. Absolutely. I worry about Matisse being on the trading block. Oh, they might hit her. It's Timmers, I are zires may might well, he has a plate. So John Be Loves Matis, though, so that or not, Joean beat Elton brand loves him. So I'd be they, but they would be have to get a very good package and there's no reason to trade him now because he has good value. But yeah, you trade him and he really turns in, which he has the ability to. They have to do something for a shooter at the deadline and he's he's the only player that I see on a consistent basis that competes. Yeah, yeah, yeah, they also sends you all starry weak Ablem allso our weekends like a month and a half away. If they're still in the middle of the pack and Eastern Conference, like five through seven seed. They Oh god, they got to do something. And I try this comment, I just don't know how get it. And I think I think Brett's got on a shooter or you know, it's probably too late in the season to get rid of Brett. But if you're the you gotta make a street EFEKS mood if you're treating men some as you're conceding this season. Yes, people, people have to understand that. Right. What and and what are you going to get from been? I mean, what is your asking price for, because you're essentially one another superstar. Well, why is somebody going to do that? Exactly, you're trading a franchise player for a franchise player. Not a lot of teams weren't to want to do that now, especially if you're giving up somebody who's willing to shoot the ball. Yeah, take on a guy who won't shoot the ball and can't shoot foul shots. I think we probably, you know, talk to ourselves into it way too much, like, oh, you know, Jimmy Butler not having us. He was our best player last year. There it's just the whole mentality of the team change when he came out Jane. When it is yeah, they had like that cutthroat mentality when he was now they've lost. Every time Brett Brown called him the adult in the room, he couldn't have been more correct, because there are no...

...adults on that we know why he truly left. Is it to be? I think I think he didn't get along with Ben He. I think he was the only one that really got him Ben's ear to shoot and work the ball on offense and, you know, get something going and like, I just don't think they gelled together and I don't I don't think he ever really want to be here because he was never the number one guy, right, he he's always going to be. Yeah, he all, he's always wanted his own team, where teams built around him. Yeah, and now he has that as I am. Yeah, yeah, all right, we go for tomorrow. We'll see all that in you. Just enjoy. I got walking home and we won't do it. They'll be near as but just try, like this is one of the years just you know, it was so funny. Somebody brought up a photo and I'm the same. I'm not talking about being complacent or anything like that. But like seeing that photo of the teams left that haven't won a super bowl, you know, franchises, yea, and not seeing the Eagles logo on there's. That's like why with getting like enjoy it. Yeah, it's okay to enjoy football. Just I have fun. Don't be over the nervous. They're gonna try, they're going to compete, they're not going to lay an egg and you hope they can win. With the way the season turned out as far as the rosters concerned, I think the season has been a success. Anything from here on out is icing on the cake. Any division title, unless your team was really expected when the Super Bowl is is always a success, no matter what the record is. When in division titles, the success and and will I beat disappointed if they don't win? Of course I will be. But I also think this year is giving you. That's in right. But this year's giving you one thing, clarity. For you have a franchise quarterback. Yep, yeah, which and he can play sixty games? That was those were two huge questions. That was me thing. You Need Sixteen Games was a big hurdle for him and they need proved it. Yep, yeah, I'm looking forward to tomorrow. I think we get to win. Where we go from there? Probably Frisco. That might be a different story, although the experience of Garoppolo hopefully comes into play a little bit. They're but they're deep. Can make some there. They get lame back. They get to Shawn back. Yea, what is questionable tomorrow. So so yeah, I mean, you know, they can make a game out of it. Next we don't think the Shawn's going to bring a huge sparked. Absolutely hundred percent. He brings a huge spark to the team, but let's get there first, you know, let's get there eight o'clock tomorrow night. Would a win. You got any final departing thoughts there? Mr Producer? Y'All, good hail the Cher in the wood. All I take us away there thanks to our sponsors, POPs McCann Irish whiskey and Matt Maloney at the MPM Insurance Agency. Ten minutes, ten quotes. We got you covered.
