It's great for the fall. A Little Bourbon, some some Bourbon Mules, you know, good stuff, good stuff, all right. And well, let's get into it. The philly standard boxes here on the table, but let's get into it first. Um, so I'm I'm here to declare. I am all in. I'm all in. Smitty's the president, he's the engineer of this train. Smitty, I'M gonna be the conductor. I'm collecting the tickets. Get Your tickets tonight, folks, because if you don't, they're gonna get expensive. I'm all in on the herts tree. It's happening. Look, it was a statement game. Great Game. He made mistakes. They're all gonna make mistakes. Um, what I saw from him Monday night down there, the kid is progressing right. He threw the ball over the middle, loved it and he threw it in some plate spots. Did he miss some throws? Yes. Did he hold the ball a little bit here and there? Yes, the throw to quiz, quiz had to slow down. The ball he threw to a j that was overthrown. It was still perfectly placed, though, because it was gonna be the outside shoulder on the sideline row. Only AJ would be able to get it. It was overthrown, but again, you're gonna make mistakes. THY plus yards touchdown rushing. I'm still a little after see what happened with Trey Lance. I don't want to take that out of his game, but at the same time, if you're going to be our franchise quarterback, I'm good with you running the ball eight to ten times a game. I don't really want you going going over that much more. We've got running backs to do that. And that second touchdown and he ran in. I mean he was pushing here and that's the type of play where you're trying to get that extra yard, you're trying to get the extra yard, guys are jumping on you and something happens there. I don't like to see that. But that said, I'm all in from here on out. I'm all in. Doesn't mean I won't critique criticize, but I'm all in. I've made my statement. The floors. You're I mean I want I want to give everybody else. I want...

...to hear you. Are you buying a ticket. Are you on? Yes, I'm on because, for a couple of reasons, I'm saying the progress that I wanted to see from him. UH, he's he's definitely making throws. He had to uh those two throws downfield. Yeah, Watkins had to slow up a step. UH, fortunate. And and the thing that was amazing about that play the replay they showed. I don't know if you noticed down the stadium on the on that touchdown the Watkins, even though he had a slow off, on that big, it's nineties, six FT screen, there was not a defender in the screen that. When they showed the replay, quiz right, I was like wow, that's that's really impressive. I still even if there was a defender or I think they still would have completed the pass. And what I was more impressed with, yeah, that money. That ball was on the money, where it should have been, like you said, but the fact that he overthrew somebody down field. I was more impressed by that. I was like, okay, he doesn't have so much of a noodle arms. Maybe everybody's thinking he he has, because he overthrow and it wasn't an overthrow fifteen yards down field. It was an overthrow like forty five plus yards down field, so I was actually glad to see that happen. I also want to see him eight to ten games or eight to ten runs a game. I want to see him progress as a pocket passer. I think we've seen that, especially this week. Last week it was too many runs. This week was much more to to my liking. I would like to see more runs designed for the running backs, less R P O S. I think we've seen that this week, so I'm liking what I see. UH, the second half, it was a little left a little bit to be desired. Neither team scored. When you have a team down like they did at halftime, you need to come out your first possession, if it's on defense, you need to stop them. They Minnesota marched the ball down field. Luckily we got the interception. The Eagles never scored again. That was a little concerning to me. I would have liked to see more points in the second half, points period in the second half. Just when you have a team down like that, you gotta put your foot on their throat and just snuffle out and just you know, you're done. You're you have no chance of coming back in this game. If they score ten points in that second half, MINNESOTA PACKS IT in. There's no chance for him coming back. And I think sip pass may have made the play of the game in that tackle because that that was a ten point turnaround. We should have scored three, we didn't. They should have scored seven, they didn't. That was a ten point turnaround by them or by him making that tackle, and that was pretty impressive that he did that. So that's basically might take on the game. Gannon, I thought had a really good, good call, you know, playing Um play call. During the game we got to see more out of the defense that we that we have. Uh, they played a really impressive game against a high powered offense. I know cousins doesn't have a great record on Monday night prime time, but the defense showed up the play and they really really had a great game. I just wished the offense would have scored in the second half. That was basically my one beef with the game, with them not scoring. All right, well, I guess I'll go and after that ten minute lecture. Um. I mean he kind of covered all the points there. Uh Yeah, yeah, but I mean, you know, hurts showed out and the defense came to play, which was finally great to see both of those come together at at once, because that's something that this team really needed and look hurts. I mean he put it together really nicely these last two games. Now I want to see it consistently throughout the season. I don't want to see him come out and lay an egg or something, you know, for another game or two. So I think he's a lot better than he he was last year. I think he's come a long way in terms of throwing the ball. I mean there were some tight windows that he made throws in on Monday night, which he I don't know if he makes last year, but I mean I I mean he was just so fun to watch and that defense, the amount of timely blitz as they called up again and called up, I should say. They really came to play and Darius slay proved he's a top five corner in this league. I mean he's been underrated for a while now and now he's finally showing off that you know, he's he needs to be talked about with the Jalen Ramsey's of the league. I mean this guy is he's top five in my opinion. I'm not all in on her. Not I want to see it consistent. Consistently, he showed me for two weeks. You know. I mean the lines and like zero. I mean...

...the lions seem to be like a good team this year. I mean there's some people that think they're the lines. I think they're a decent team. I think they could be a surprise team this year. And the Vikings, they're probably a top five team in the NFC, which isn't say much as the NFC is so bad this year, but they're a good team in the NFC. And Eagles just whooped them on Monday night and send message to the whole league like Hey, you know, we're as good as we think we are. So yeah, you better coming ready to play against us, which I love. You know, I want that. So all right, let's bring it on from here on out. It's gonna get expensive to get on the Stream, all right. Well, I mean maybe there may be consequence. How many? What's the what's the cut off? I'll say, I mean I'll say this for me. If they go into Washington, and I don't want to get into our predictions just yet, but I think they should be able to win in Washington and handled me like they did Monday night. If he can go into Washington and do what he did Monday night, or even be better, I'll y'all like I think that is mine. Let me here. Here's the analogy I'll use. All right, it's, it's it's only right now it's Mick Leean, it's you started last year and you were all in. It went from a nickel to sixty grand. You're getting in right now at about a few grand. No, no, I'M gonna see. Right now it's like und bucks. Okay, that's not too bad as the week, but don't be that guy that gets it when it's sixty grand. Look if it's. I mean like I'm getting in a fifty because he lost this. He got get it for fifty and then it goes no way right, like I hear you, but I think one more week to see if it's for real. See if it's for real. I think three, three games in a row. I think that's pretty telling. So I'M gonna give it one more and Washington's defense. It's not what it used to be in the past years. Because of the past years they've been a really good defense actually, and they and they lost, say Sean, who's hurt, but I still think they're incredible defense. So I you know, we'll see. MHM, I don't want to say he just gave up a bunch of points to the lines. But because I'm with you, because I'm with you, I think the lions are a better team this year than people, regardless of Dan came up, will be in their coach Um, I think there'll be a better team people were expecting. All right, maybe maybe the biggest critic in the room. What do you got? Are you sort of? Sort of, and I will say he has proved me wrong and Um, I mean there's nothing to say. So you guys said everything on the head, everything and said do do you think he's how much said? It's pretty good. Yeah, look, it takes a big man to admit yea, been there, done there, been there and done that. Won't be the first to the last Um. But what would make him Baker level in your eyes? Baker, I don't know. Gotta be a little more cocky. Yeah, yeah, he's not. He know the thing that hurts? That's actually a good point, because he's confident in himself, but he's not cocky. If that, if that makes any sense, though, like, I agree that you can definitely be cocky without yeah, like I like Baker. Baker's cocky and he shows it. Yeah, like Jayalen makes a big play, he turns to his teammates like that, where Baker is looking at the other sideline and like, you know, like Jalen's just and Jalen backs it up better. Baker hasn't done ship since college and he made one playoff run. The team was good around him. Let's not kid ourselves. One trick pony, one trick pony, Baker. Yeah, his show, his show, his show style is always, always good. Phone. No, I don't know if he's a one trick pony, but what's he done? I don't want to. I don't want to get into the baker, you know, like I'm not. I like, I like Bayer. Coming out of colleges, I thought he was cool. Like I like cock style. I'm a young kid. He kind of represented like the chip on the shoulder type. So, like, you know, yeah, I'm, I'm, I'm I'm still someone of a bigger page. That's because you bought into the panthers to make the playoffs. UH, well, I mean they were a dark horse right value, you know, yeah, he had good value from the vetting perspective, so it made sense. Um, but IVANAE'S NOT gonna say anything. I think. Um, yeah, I know, I think he's done. I don't think. Yeah, he said his piece about it. He's got more to say about the phillies later, I'm sure. I think what, uh, I think what hurts is he's proving everybody who said anything bad about him wrong right right now, and everybody was on that train before it can, you know, kind of put their fingers up, like, you know, it hurts, doesn't it? Right? So I think that. I think that he's got he's showing a lot of growth, obviously, and and it's funny because I was a big hurt tator, big hurtator,...

...and then when everybody jumped off last year and I remember I was the one like, you know, he's showing me something because he's working and I think the work is starting to pay off. Like that's what we're seeing from this kid right now, and not even that, the coaching. Like what? What more, outside of just the hurt noise, the hurts noise, is that I'm becoming a be even bigger fan of Serreanni, and I never thought I would, you know what I mean, like he understands the city, he understands the pulse of the city. He's Super Corny, Super Corny, but it just but, but, but it works, though, you know what I mean. And if they're buying into it, yeah, it's culture. Yeah. And then I like his demeanor on the sideline, now, you know what I mean, like that kind of weird, kind of squeenny face and squeenny eyes, and he gets mad, like I just it just, it just works. It just all works and I think that, Um, I think we're we're seeing the the birth of what this Teo. But we always wanted this team to be. So, Um, I'm happy, like, you know what I mean. I hear people, you know, like Oh, he's, you know, not this good and all this other stuff, like why, don't be a hater. You know what I'm saying. You know what I mean. Don't be a hate especially if you're an eagles fan. I'm a conscious Eagle Fan. I I thought, I don't want to get to set up. They look good right. There's nothing there's nothing wrong with being excited about this team right now at all. Don't kill the party right. Don't be the person killed the party, like you guys gotta be quiet. No, let us, let us, let us live right now. Let's enjoy it. It's only two games, but let's enjoy the wins that we're getting right. The first win I thought they actually thought they played better a little bit. The first win, I thought last week and Monday night they just, I think minus sort of got out coached. I really did. I think they got out of coach and they were guessing the whole game and that's why they looked so good. I mean you saw on that question that you guys were talking about that question. Bomb Smith bit on the out right. He bit on the out from Um, from Brown, and question was open and it was. It was a great read by Jalen too, Great Ball, great read, Um, so Um. I think everything clicked in that game. Washington's gonna be a good test because it's it's it's gonna be a tough game. It's gonna be a real tough game in Washington. I think those, the NFC division games are always tough, always tough. I can't remember the last time we blew Washington out. Monday night game games, week breaker's first game we lost that game. That was the train wreck season. The last one was vic right, I think. Yeah, right, yeah, yeah, the Monday night game with with Max. But I mean, look at but look at you guys talking like as had like three contracts. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. And people it's been a it's five. Ye, yeah, it's been a while since we've blown them out so years. It just tells you. You know, it doesn't matter who's the quarterbacker. They just play US top, they just play up. It's divisional game, you know, it's tough games. Like I we're all saying. I know you want to say. I think. I think everybody in this room and outside the room at some point last year was said, yeah, we had a hard time with her at one point. There were weeks where we were like now and Smitty didn't falter. He it was tough to get criticism out of him, but you gave it. Uh, you know, some of the thought maybe flak that would be starting by end of the season last year. I forgot about that receipt. Again. We all hey, hey, he just threw four touch yeah, he's the third leading right now. Look a look at Joe. Back to elite, but look, it's he's now he's doing the things I think we to see. Right. I think we all agree that, yeah, he's a hard worker, he's a great guy. It seems like he's good in the locker room. He's getting in there watching the film. He's trying to bring guys along with him. It was just on the field you could still see like he's missing. He was headiting to throw the ball in certain spots. He didn't, and whether it was now he has a year with these receivers and he's got a new guy that he has a lot of confidence him, so he doesn't have to completely trust himself. Right, he's going to make that throw. This guy is gonna catch this ball. Did you know he was at the Draft Party for Brown? I didn't even know that. Did you see that? Really well, they were best friends in high school. Yeah, like they like. Yeah, I didn't know how deep the RELATIONSHIPHIP was growing up. You talk about guys trust, is trusting his guys. Look at the throw he made the Goddard. Three guys around him and Goddard had it. Just threw that pass and it was yeah, he was the only one and the defender just made a good play on the ball. But you bring up a good point, Jim, trusting the guys around you. I think I speak for a lot of fans here when when Wentz was here,...

...we kind of when he would throw the ball because he was such a turnover machine late in his Uh sees career here you kind of held your breath. You're like, oh no, like where's it going with hurts? I don't really find myself doing that too much because, I mean, knock on Boyd the guy is very conscious, conscientious on the field with making passes or taking off and running. I mean the guy just knows where to go with the ball and I think that's really nice to have, since we haven't had that in a while. Interesting st he's only got one touchdown pass. I swore you had more yea, which was surprised. Well, they had the one called back. Um, wasn't it? Was it called back to God it or no, am I thinking something else? Was that preseason? That might have been. Yeah, Um, I I do want to say they needed to score more points in a second half. Was a little that was a little scared and I don't know that the defense played all that great. They have. That's if you want that's the biggest thing. To get the position that we were all worried about, the secondary is the position that saved this correct. Yeah, they looked great and all the and all the hype for Davis. said it before. I'll say it again. He's a one trick point. He can only go straight. I mean he's been really good against the run. Yeah, I mean if, yeah, that's what he's supposed to do. But people like he needs to start. You gotta put him in. I was I was reading stuff from when he wasn't getting drafted from Georgia people, and almost all of them said, if you can get his pass rush down, he'll be a top in Tier D Lineman in the league. But well, yeah, because you can't coach six six. Yeah, he came off the field on third down. Like, if you look at his page, he's not there. He's not there. People like he's been like no, he's not. Like, honestly, at this point, is watched his Cox. He made plays. He's making plays. He's a better pass rusher. Yeah, he's making plays, though. I wouldn't I don't know. I think he's proven to get another contract a year. I'm just saying around the league I think he's trying to put film out there that we can still play. There's a big free agent move that's been I don't want to call him a bus yet, but has not been producing. But because he drops back in conference. That's so stupid. I hate that. Drives me nuts. I mean a gain in great job, you know, cutice, you for the time only blitz calls. But Dude, Reddeck is your best pass rusher. He should not be dropping back into coverage and put him where he where to let him do what. I was driving home at the game, Um from my buddy's house and I was listening to radio and they interviewed Howard Eskin, interviewed Reddeck atter the game and they and Eskin was flat out out about it. He's like, how do you feel about dropping back into coverage, you know, instead of pass rushing? And reddick kind of was like, you know, just saying the thing you want to hear from a player. It. I mean he kind of said it without saying like, you know, I don't really like yeah, like I want to be rushing after the quarterback, but that's how he gets his money, exactly. That's how he's got we gotta get it to corn. Are you ready to play that ship? I mean, is that an Intro stoppering Donald's gonna say that seems like the perfect, perfect get. That seems like you want to make you com I just broke them on. Just let's do a quick kid Joe, because you guys have actually met before. Um, Deacon and Don Don, what's going on? How are you? Let's go. I love listening to the conversation. It sounds a lot like the conversation we had last night. It's a little bit different being backstage listening to you all, but uh, I mean, I think you're spot on. I love the take where, you know, especially with Reddick right. If I don't ever have to see his sign reddick drop back and coverage and look like he's on Ice Skates, I'll be I'll be a happy Manta. runch the pastor that's that's let me give you a proper introduction from drunk on broad podcast, where we we all hope to be drunk on broad at the end of this season. Right, right, right, that's the goal. That's the goal. Down from drunk on broad, you actually had a chance to talk with our guys, Deacon Smitty at one point with another podcast that we were on. I'm Jim Peeked to my left, smitty in the middle, DJ Andrew. We got nate behind the glass. So thanks for coming on Um. You may appreciate the opportunity fells, I really like I'm glad any time I get a chance to come in and talk birds. Man, I'm all over it. So great, great, we we gotta WE'RE gonna. Schmitty is the president of the hurts fan club, has been since the end of last George since the beginning of last year. If you're the president of that club, you...

...gotta be feeling good right now. So first off, that kind of I'm not gonna sit here and say I thought yourself with a actor told you so. What I'm gonna say is that you two are fully initiated into the fan club. One thing I'll say that that I've always said from day one about Jalen hurts, and I've said about, and we've all touched on it. We've all touched on it, the fact that the urge to get better, the the the intentional way to put into the work to become better. But the biggest thing that I think is made Jalen hurts better, and why I said last year is that we really truly couldn't judge him. It is because now you see what happens when you have more talent around you. Bringing in the number one wide receiver like a J Brown right, makes a world of a difference. It makes a world of a difference on the field. The other thing, too, that we're forgetting, and this was the total opposite, and I'm not even here to talk about Carson Wentz, but hurts new last year, after that playoff game, he didn't play up to his standard. Right, right, he did. And what did he do? He went out and hire one of the best quarterback coaches at worked with Tom Brady and all all season got better. And I said that to you guys when I said it last year. I said you have to give this guy a chance, because what you're seeing his progressions. You're seeing him now seeing to feel better than he's ever seen it. You're also seeing him not take the time. He gets the ball out quicker, and that tells me that he's putting in the work, he wants to get better. The questions about accuracy, I feel I can go down down the drain now. When you're six for thirty, one right. You had some good throws. The noodle arm nonsense can go down the drain because we could see that he could throw the ball. The one thing people just need to realize is that this kid is always gonna constantly get better, and that's what you want in the leader and that's what you want in the in the quarterback of your franchise. That one thing that I love about Jalen hurts, and I know you know, djs, you know we talked about it. If you notice, after every game it's never enough for him and you want somebody right like he always he's always going to get better and that's scary and I think that's scary for the rest of the League because the connection that he has with a j Brown, and I understand that they were best friends, what he has already with him through two games. Imagine what that's gonna look like is their connection grows. And then the other thing that you need to realize is how much attention Jalen hurts takes away. There was one where miles sanders, he got a six yard run and he handed it off to miles sanders and six players were running towards Jalen hurts. That's what people need to realize. And the other thing is the fact that finally, and deck, you hit on it perfectly. They let him be a true quarterback. On Monday night everybody's like, Oh, you can only run the RPO. You saw what he can do. He threw the ball for three hundred and thirty one yards. So the questions, questions about his arm. I feel like a he proved that he can only he can win the game when he needs to with his legs, but he also proved that he can win it with his arms and I don't give a shit about how many touchdowns he has through the air, how many he has at the end of the day, touchdown? No, it's not that, but you're not the only person that said that. The thing is, I don't understand why everybody's obsession is, and it's not just you. I see it all the time on twitter. What's the difference? Like, like Kelsey said, if you listen to his podcast, the perfect play when you're in the goal line is a qb sneak. It works like the time because running behind, why does it matter if you score the ball through the air? Because he's a brought it back. That's why. But why does it matter? At the end of the day, you get more points for throwing the ball and asking them. But he's he's a quarterback. He's not a money bag. So I want you to calm you as now he is. He's a twitterback. was being nice to you about you thinking being nice to me about what hold on you recall you called him trash last year. I call a lot of people trash, and now you're saying you're a nerd. I never said that. I'm a fan because I'm an eagles fan, right, but you're, you're, you're, you're talking like that. This is the problem with the Jalen hurts guys, is that it's been two games. Have Been Two games. What do you okay? So you would to say it's been tough games. Fine, why do you think? Listen, this is fantastic conversation. Why do you think they are they playing like they played last year in the playoffs? Are they playing like they played in the playoffs last year? I'm asking you a question. Last year, were they expected? Were they expected to make the playoffs? Just no, no, of course. Did he have any wide receiver talent around him last year? Yes or...

...no, if you want to say Devante Smith. That was a rookie wide receiver. Why did they make the playoffs last year? What are you trying to prove? What's your point? You're just saying that hurts has only done it for two games. Hurts has done it a lot longer because he took him to the playoffs playing like this. He's only done it for two games, Mittie. Facts, at this level, at this at this level, being able to being able to throw to his left side. Yes, it's only you recalled the Washington game. You're talking about one game last year, one out of seventeen. Yes, I recall the games, one out of seventeen. So let's get it. Let let's not get it. Twist this. At the end of the day, I could't give your ships. If they get in the end zone running all, I could care less of hurts. It hurts through forty touchdowns through the air or forty touchdowns running it. At the end of the day we're still score points, so I don't give a shit about that. That makes no difference to me and I think it should make no difference to anybody. What quarterback okay, so taken with your points, Mittie, what quarterback runs and when? Super Bows. Oh, that's crickets. Thank you. Okay, so you know so, so, so let's he's got to win. He's got to win the WHO. Everybody wants to get rid of hurts after this year and go to Lamar Jackson, but we're not. I didn't say anything about Lamar. You're throwing Lamar in. All I'm saying is, I'm I'm. I can stim be stand corrected because I did say he was trash and I always questioned his arm. But the beginning of this year I said they didn't have any holes on the teams. I said they had question marks, and the biggest question marks was jalen hurts. Why? Because I questioned his arm talent. You know what the biggest number one wide receiver last year you had Jalen Breger and you had devote, was a rookie. That was the biggest question mark last year. And if you put a bota fide stud number one ride receiver who opens the field, you're seeing what. You cannot compare last year to this because the same players better. He's better. Let's we got a guest here for a reason. What's going on? You came in in the middle of a ship story. Here. Listen. We started the show off and he said that, like I introduced me. He's the president, I also said, and he's now the he's the engineer of the hurts trade. I'm the conductor. I'm selling the tickets. If you're getting on the train, you need to buy them today because the price is going up after today. So where can you do? I'm running the bar car. Right, we got, we got, we got, we got the we got the drunk, the drunk. Is it not more appropriate that the drunk team would run the bar car? All right, so we said. He here's what I like about hurts. Right from from last season to this season, he got better. From week one to week two, he got better. As long as I see that continued progression, I'm good and I'm I'm on the I'm on the train. Where like I look at the fact that you get you get points regardless. Six, six points is six points, is six points. If he can extend the drive with a six yard run to get a first down and then throw a thirty five yard bomb the next play, I'm good. He extended the drive. Um, I look at plays that I saw in week one where he would make one read and then run where in week two I saw him make that that one read, but then slide in the pocket, move, move towards the sideline and hit guys down the field. That, to me is progress, right. That, to me says I'm making my progressions. I want to see. I understand what they're doing with the R P O, but to me, I I want this season to be everything about finding out what Jalen hurts is and if if he can continue on the trajectory that he's on right now. The Sky's the limit for this team. Right. You know, the if you look around the NFL, right, especially in the NFC, right, Tom Brady looks all of forty five years old. Right. The only team that truly scares me is the rams, and they, you know, they they have enough weapons and they have the talent to be able to take over a game. But I look in Green Bay, right, Green Bay with with they have rogers, but they have Rogers and nothing else. Right, like you, you just took care of what was supposed to be the other team in the central in Minnesota. Like, tell me where. I'm like, like I'm looking around and going when I look at the talent that's on this team and how it matches up with the...

...with with the opposing siline. Like I don't see who in the secondary in Washington is gonna be able to cover a J Brown, devonte Smith, Dallas, Gott or Ques, Watkins, Kenny Game Will Zach passed? Will like throw any combination of any of those dudes on the field. If you cover a guy one on one, he is gonna get beat. I don't care who it is, because any one of those guys is better than anybody that's lining up against them. Yeah, yeah, and I think to your point of last year, and we all criticize the last year, that you see him he looks to the right. He looked to the right. He looked to the right, nothing's there. I'm done him right, like him, got his eyes on one. But now, with all these weapons around him, he is he's going in the middle of the field. Now, yeah, he didn't really do that. Well, yeah, but I mean last season he threw to the sidelines a lot and you saw him that playoff game against the bucks. The Bucks Defense took everything away from the sidelines. They made him go down Middlefield and he just couldn't. So I mean, you know, that's another Um progression that he's worked through and it's showing off now. All right, so anybody want to talk about that quiz? Watkins play right the progression? Right? Yeah, I mean he saw the safety slide down, and that's another thing, D J Brown. That's how I'm important he is in this offense. How does this? Smith jumped the route. Yeah, and I'm not and I'm not hating play because because when that's that's a combo, right, that's a combination of play design. That's the right to lure that guy up. But you're you all like you can't judge. Like in my mind, I can't just say right that that play is on Harrison Smith and that's the only reason why it was successful. Right, there's a lot. He was gonna Burn Harrison Smith. Now he was gonna burn. Yeah, he was, he was, he was going. No, I'm not. What I'm saying is is that I'm just saying open because Harrison jumped the route. But then when I'm not, I said Lens Um Hurts, hurts. Well, I'm thinking about the commander of conversation coming the hurts, stayed in the pocket and went through the progression. Like you guys didn't see him. That he might not have. Ye, go that way. Right, exactly, absolutely so that's credit to jalen hurts and its progression. Absolutely right. But like and and the one play, and he said the one turnover that he has. Right, I'm looking at that play going what are we? What are we doing in that moment? Right, because in that moment all you gotta do is bleed clock. You got the ball. Like what? What do? Like that Middle Screen? It's nothing. It's it's either open or it's nothing. Patrol caches that. He's had a lot of open. Yeah, bounced from? Yeah, I don't know, but in the hands and in the hands. I'm a big believer if it hits you in the hands, you should catch get in the hands. So you should have. I mean, yeah, that was that play was or though, if it did work. Yeah, because he had like a think one or two, at least at least the first stance. To talk about the other side of the ball, I mean the secondary has just been tremendous. Like, legitimately the secondaries bailing out zero past rush, which is usually the other way around. I think third, Rd, I mean, I'm not, I'm not obviously slaves better right now, like he's shutting down. He's a top ten corner. That's going to come into play this weekend because Washington does have adopts has been doing well and Curtis Samuel Right. So like and you know chauncey Gardner as much as like. I know he takes chances, he makes some big plays. He and like, I think, the secondary, who we thought the weaknesses, and he don't give ebbs a shout out. Like dude, he's kind of like no, no, no, that's a good point, because I didn't believe in at all. I was like, we're going into this season with EPS. Know, that's what I'm saying. Like he just stepped up and your white. I'm already paying him now, and hits like yeah, Tej, yes, a guy that sits behind us down the stadium heat. He said later in the game, he says, you know, they're spending a lot of money on that defensive front line and they're just not getting the job done through the first two games, and I was like wow, that's a great point that you know, you're spending a lot of money, they're not getting it. I mean they're spending money. Yeah, I mean sea, yeah, put let me finish Um I I thought the front seven was going to be before they picked up Um, what's his name? No, Chauncey, picked up chauncy and, to an extent, Brad Berry. I thought the front seven was going to be the strength of the defense and I'm kind of disappointed in at least in the front fourth, not the front seven. And it's the defensive backfield that's saving their bacon because they're making plays, they're getting picks, they're batting passes down, they're making tackles, they're offering they're doing really well back there and you know,...

...yeah, they're they're saving their front seven Bacon, which which is something this team hasn't had in years. Think about how many, how many years we went through with the secondary like in purgatory. We have a secondary. And now do you think about how we're set up? You say pass rush. That's perfect, because if we now are set up and we think Kurt is going to be the quarterback of the future, let's not forget we got two first round picks and the Saints First Round picks. Saints like they're slowly imploatd. So, like you know, I think that him working out helps the team tremendously. I think that's what we all want. That's what we all you know what I mean. Like you think about it now, like you can go into after the season, maybe you make a long run and you still have a high pick to draft that pass rusher. You're saying right now. That is a weakness. Like sweat gets to the quarterbacks sometimes that they're not finishing. REDDICK's getting to the court not consistent enough. They're getting Harry's, they're getting a little play. They make this week because this week was better with the pass rush. Yes, yes, it was, but they still it's not showing up in the numbers with sacks. But but I think, I think this week was a little better with pressure. So we'll still see if it continues to. I mean, like I told you guys all earlier news year, it hurts. I mean it hurts. Sweat is not it. He's just not. Yeah, yeah, he's not a he's not. They need him to be a tins at guy and he's not. They need him. One of them has one of them. It's Reddick. You pay. It's Reddick that needs somebody, but you don't have somebody. Should tell again and like hey, dude, your best pass rusher shouldn't be dropping back in coverage, and that's the only thing that scares me about this team. But they're so good on the back end that, you guys said, they make up for it. But sooner or later it's gonna it's gonna catch up. Right, you'RE gonna FACE YOU'RE gonna face a quarterback who's just that, and you know there's not a lot of them on the schedule. They'll be there. Yeah, your best quarterback you're facing that is Rogers, and that's not told Thanksgiving weekend, but that point he'll be so high. Did you see the celebration this weekend? I want to I want to give our guests guys right, I we we go off here, but we we have when we have guests in, we have standard questions we ask our guests kind of kind of start. We're reading. That's all right, Don before we get into the initiation questions, how do you feel about the standard and the dog mentality? Uh, you know, talk in the Locker Room and press conferences. I understand the purpose of it, but it's Corny there there. There are times where it comes across as very, very corny Disney movie. Yes, like I don't, but but buying into it, but they're buying into a waiting I care totally. Yeah, but I was gonna say but something better standards, like but like here, here's but, like here's the thing. Right. I look at the just like did you hear, like, did you hear the press conference the other day with Sirianni where he's making fun of himself about the ROCK PAPER SCISSORS? Yeah, he was like, yeah, like what, what were you guys busting my balls about last year? ROCK PAPER SCISSORS? But, like, listen, if it works in the locker room for the players, I don't give ship. Do whatever you gotta do. I get that, but I just think it's like as a fan, yeah, there are times where it does come across this corner, but listen, he has that lot, he has that locker room, he's got the quarterback in his corner, he's got the quarterback as the guy that everybody's looking up to. He's right like like everybody's looking at that dude and going, I want to play with that guy, I want to play for that guy, I'm I'm picking that dude up. If that's if that mentality comes from that experience and and and sharing it that way, whatever, I'm good e is gonna be wearing a standard t shirt in three weeks. If they were, if they were a super bowl, I'll get standard tattooed on my ash. Standard. put it out. It's on the it's on the table, the table as on as Furt con is on the sixers. That holds true. O, I didn't do it that. It's hard explained.

They did. So back story. I'm trying to I'm trying to get into work questions here. Don't listen. Listen, all we got is time. Yeah, so the back story on that is I stauid have the sixers one. I would. I would change my middle name to fur can. I love the S, but I just didn't. I didn't believe it was gonna happen. And listen, he firk was in the middle of a brawl in Turkey. Like yeah, and I didn't realize how young he is. But like, if it takes him until twenty six and he gets the ship beat out of him in Turkey to turn into an asshole on the court and come in and just start banging threes, whatever. All right, let's get through our questions here. All right, again, rapid fire. This is gonna tell us where you fall within this group of clown think about these answers before you spit them out, I say rapid fire, and then you're telling them the first one is the most important one. All right, actually, yeah, chicken wings. Are you a drums or a flat guy? Drums? Three in a row, three guests in a row. Thank you. All right. Do you guys have do you guys have a spot? Thank you very much. Do you guys have a wing spot? I know you're only will grow. You got a wing spot? My favorite wing spot and in Philly, is burns tavern down in Richmond. I'M gonna go curns or Burns. They're pretty good. There's a spot on Grummantown U make miniments. Oh all right, now, that's that's in my neighborhood. So where are you? Okay, so I used to worry. Have you guys been to Union Jacks and it was one of Roxburgwy good, but I worked, I worked for for forever. They got a honey Caribbean sauce that I'll hit you. Yea, let's Jack's Fir men's is good. Man is good. That's hard. That's a hard one. That's tough. Right, were drunk listen. If listen, if I gotta pick between the two, I'm going both right, I'm gonna get ten and Tim No. It's funny because when you talk to people who know about these places, it's like who's cooking, like they know who the cook's are, that they'll be like they'll they'll ask you like well, who's cooking? And there's a specific cook who cooks the wings perfectly, and that's how you get your answer. At Burns's, they you have no choice and sauce is either you get the sauce you're dope, and the question is sauce. Yea. So the owner frank. The question is, is Frankin? If Frank's in, I think like frank goes by the sauce and just like keeps dripping more hot sauce into this sauce. And so frank's did. The wings are gonna be hotter. Frank's not. They're they're a little more mild, but you only get one good around us. Northeast Philly Union tap. They're pretty good. They actually have good food. Our sponsor BA, they're very good. I was wondering when we were getting there get we get. We get their wings every week and they hit the spot. Yeah, they're very good. No disrespect sweet children, personal favorite sponsor. Next question. There we go, MJ or Lebron. Oh God, is that? Is that even a question? It shouldn't even apparently should all day long. That's three in a row with that. Have we have? Have we had anybody's safe flats? Yeah, I just said chef tip. Ye, actually started. Went Back. I'M gonna I'm gonna Start Tracking it. Last three. Yes, listen, I will tell you when, when I worked at Union Jack's, when I when I was bartending, we were there were there were people that would only eat. They would, they would ask for ten flats. Oh, yeah, for sure. I must have been drunk then. Where was heather and I went at the dinner where somebody it was. It was an up charge. You can order only to get the bullshit. Yeah, yeah, that's bullshit. All right. Next question. scrapple. Yes or no? Yes, all right, he's from Philly's only who don't like scrapple. Yeah, well then they don't know what they're talking about. I like what I like, scrapple and sounds. I don't eat scrapple regular. It's only got to be on the sand scrapple, egg...

...and cheese. Yeah, right, like you only be on the sandwich. I don't. I don't eat. I'm liquid scrapple. It's got to be on the sandwich and it's got to be Christie cakes. Jim Eats a piece of scrap before he goes to bed every night, all over at night, midnight. So there's some pillow talk with scrapple. To get out of the way, your waiter. Greatest Eagle Center, Chuck Ben N Y Kelsey nuts. I just I was gonna say I've never seen him play. I can. I can tell you that I remember sitting in the back of my grandfather's Ford Taurus and him telling me about Chuck Ben Naric and telling me about those guys. So I'm not saying it's it's only secondhand stories that I ever heard. I won't deny that he's an incredible player. Um, but I I'm just gonna go recently bias. That's like and he's gonna be. He's gonna be a whole of Famer, so I can't go wrong. I want to check. I want to check. Um, we don't need to see stats. We've done this before. But he wants to know how many people. He can sit on people's when you think of concrete, Charlie, you should think of a line exactly brings back. You should think of a two way player for six. That was concrete. If, if, if, you don't mind decision. Are you okay? So he fits all right, so obviously like that. No, no, no, but I mean it's the Bosco with the classic is. That's yeah, yeah, yeah, that's that's that's real deal. That's stitched on. That's the hurt seven brand, thet you can't go wrong with forty seven. They make the best sets. Sorry, I just shouted. Just wanted to shut off the hat. We have one more question, but that deck usually throws in a second. But here's the final question. Crazy evil of all time. For you, Dawkins, Dawkins, there you good answer. Like the just just a guy that was just an animal that came in and demanded like when you see one of the greatest defensive coaches in NFL history, look at that guy and say I'm gonna Design a defense around that guy. And then he he was able to shine like the energy that he brought, the passion that he brought, you can you can't go wrong it's a ship. It's a travesty that he walked away from his career in another uniform one, walked away without a super bowl. Yeah, agreed. Yeah, you think about the greatest safeties when he played was Ed Reid. He got to troy, got to right, John Lynch got one with the box, the box. No, he wasn't on that team. He was. If he was, he was really old. Moved to San France. I think he was in the front office by then or working his way up. No, he was doing broadcasting. Yeah, he played in the against Pat Yeah, I'm just making sure that question. Making sure your question. What your question? Of The polastic question? I've noticed you've been sneaking. Well, that's more because a bark. Also, I wanted to ask you to piggyback on the on the Your Greatest Eagle. Who's your Favorite Eagle? I'm guessing him. Yeah, he's. I mean that was that was the quarterback when I became like Eagles Fanboy, and it was. It was appointment television to watch that dude. And do you want to hear a funny one from me? What made me like the Eagles was Jim mcmahn. There you go. Really it was. Yeah, that's the only thing. I thought it was the coolest thing I've ever seen. I had a sweatshirt that had an eagles guy with advisor and then I saw it on TV. I was like, Holy Shit, yeah, that is cool. Alright, since, since Jimmy brought it up, have you ever been to the Polestra? Okay, let's pause for a second. My grandfather is the last three sport athletes at the University of Penn. Yeah, he played,...

...uh so, soccer crew. No, I played soccer. WHO Base at? Baseball? Do you remember walking around the Palestra? What was so so? Soccer, basketball and baseball. But do you remember walking around the pleasure before they redid it, where they had the giant Um team team photos? Yeah, my uncle has it at his house. It's uh, got ninth, nineteen when he was when he was in college. got. I'm looking at his I'm looking at his diploma right now. Um, but he played. Yeah, he played four years at Penn. So and he so. When I was a kid he would, we would take the train in the thirties street and then walked to the Palestra. It was I've been God, I couldn't even tell you a million games there. He used to take us all the time, like middle of the week, calls, yeah, I'm picking them up at six and pick us up and we would all go down and we would just it was great. I mean, I think so. I don't need to ask you my question, but I will anyway. The Cathedral or the POLEST CATHEDRAL OR DUMP? Oh God, that place is fucking church. No, it's a cathedral. It's a cathedral. I mean it is everything that you want a nostalgic basketball venue today. I absolutely love the POLESTRO. I would go watch kindergarten kids play basketball at the polestic. They can't see. Yes, it's the point. It's express the point these days. Yeah, you got to care for you can't be an old man. I'm not an old man. I'm back from come on. Yeah, I like to go to the pleasure and sit on the Little Kid's laps and watch basketball. I can't say that. When did your grandfather play there? Give me one second, I'M gonna go look at his diploma. You're sitting on the little kids laughter and I sit on yours. You were just said you were sitting on the Little Kid's laps. Last week you said You you win to play the Games, didn't he really? Yeah, I was gonna do a segment of stupid Shi. We should. We showed you. Yeah, because I'm sure there could be a whole ship to comment to you last week. Just because you're wearing a collar doesn't make you logical. Yeah, yeah, definitely not. Had he had a step away to check out? I'm looking at the diploma from the University of Penn Ninety nine. So he played from fifty five to fifty nine. Wait, so I my my brother went to LaSalle. He graduated the Sound Seventy One and my dad used to take me down to a lot of games down there, late sixties through the mid Seventies. Okay, very nice. Wait, when was Penn was good at football for a long time. Yeah, that was were they still good back in the fifties and all, Penn was a national powerhouse before the Ivy League was made. Yes, yes, Chick's time. Remember penalties win in the Ivy League. Know, the Ivy League was started in created in nine. Prior to fifty five Penn was considered a national power ass in football and then when the Ivy League was started that kind of fell off. But team was decent at one point. Two right now. Oh yeah, but, um, in the eighties, uh, this after hours club I used to go to a couple of the couple of the bouncers, football players, the girls are walking around with the cigarettes. I had to tell all the women because, hey, a right, where can you put my hat? They were like are you Donald Kenny Martin? And they they used to bounce up there and they used to play the talkies on the back right. We used to and we used to talk to him about pen football, and that's when they were winning year after year the Ivy League Championship. That's cool. Remember, not you, Don but everybody else in this room. He kissed by A. Hey a little bit about how about your podcast, the drunk and broad podcast? And I said, our guys, you guys gotta to Collab with another podcast. It was cool. Tell us about drunk on broad when you guys started? What night she's going on? Where we can find the podcast? So so, I mean drunk on broad is something that kind of originated during covid before me. Um, the guy that, the guy that kind...

...of Co host with rich Um, he and a buddy started it in their basement. Um, it's gone through a couple of evolutions of you know, I got connected with them through a friend. They needed somebody to come on. We started collaborating on some stuff. Um, we're we're about to hit episode one, so, you know, we're uh, we're working on a couple of things we try to do. We've moved away from like the talk about every sport too, like try to like, whatever episode we're doing, try to do one sport just to try to keep it focused. Um, that's that's it's a challenge for us. It can be right, it can be but we found that like the when we when we see when we were getting trying to get feedback on scrolling through the feed right, seeing that if someone wants to just hear stuff about the eagles, right, they go right to that stuff. If they want to hear just stuff just about the Phillies, they go right to that stuff. So, Um, it's working for us now. Who you know that that could change, Um, if we get on and we feel like we want to just, you know, go forward, just talk about whatever. Um, it's just like this. It's exactly what you all are doing. Um. So it's kind of why identify with a lot of the conversations you're having, because you know, we're kind of having a lot of similar conversations. Um, you know, we're we just we we started working with belly up, uh, maybe about six months ago, seven months ago. So we're part of that network. So we we kind of you we'll get a little bit of support. We're credential to go for Flyers Games. So, Um, you know not, you know, not gonna makes a whole lot of sense right now, because getting credential to go down to see the worst team and see it's a punishment more than it is a privilege. But straight in the bottom of the barrel, I think. If it is a nice thing to do. No, it is, it is and truly. Um, you know, they they've been really supportive in terms of helping us. You know, we've we've got, you know, the merch store, we've got you know, you name it. We've got to kind of set up in in our uh, you know, link trade whatever. Um, we do highlight tape, like we we put out some highlights uh, from from games in the morning, from the previous night. So, you know, we're just trying to keep it, keep it fun and just keep it, you know, live. We don't we don't tend to get too statistical. It's it's uh, it's just fun. And we actually just started something new. Um, we just created a fan call in line. So we're trying to we're trying to get that up and run in trying to uh, you know, get some people to call in pregame, post game, during the game, Um, and then we play that. We've were playing them back on the on the next week's episode. So you know, we're just is that for flyers or is that for every every time? That's for everything. So Penn State football and Notre Dame football, you take calls for that. Are you break you are you penn stater? Don I grew up with no college I went to Newman College. So I grew up with no affiliation. It's actually the one reason why I love college football because I don't have a team. I turned it on. I turned it on me. I went I went to Westchester. So I don't really have much of your Penn State Hater Stop. I mean, I don't necessarily hate or well, listen, I like, I just we you know, I don't have it. I don't have a squad, I don't have a college affiliation. Actually, my dad is a die hard Villanova hoops guy. So, like, if there's anything, that's another question ablem that's a new question. Is it a Philly school? Is it a Philly school? Come I guess. Listen, I guess. I guess the pause. The pause tells me probably not. No, it's not within the city. But listen, you know. And it's hard because they took a small school and made it a top notch national program and but at the same time it's hard as a die hard philly fan. You kind of left the big five in the dust. You sound like you should have an episode one of the guys that comes on here sometimes. History history. They tried to ruin the Big Five, right, Don I mean you know, he he did. I mean the big five is. The Big Five is never going to be as long as long as Villanova is a top ten program temple, unless temple gets...

...it shipped together and gets back to any kind of notoriety. I mean LaSalle, Drexel, St Joe's, those schools are never gonna be top ten programs and they're getting villanovas getting. It's hard to say, because Villanova's getting elite talent right there there. But they're not like you said, they get guys from anywhere. I wonder, country, nil stuff, if that. That'll definitely affect affect them. Just had the money. And now the NBA. The NBA is now going to start implementing the new wanting the high school. You can go round all now, so that's gonna Change it too. But yeah, I mean between between the N I L S, between the the G League elite team that you can go right out of college and make you know what, like five grand and play for a year. It's hard to say, because there's no reason. If you're top end talent player in college basketball, there's no reason to go to college anymore. Before you had to because you couldn't enter the draft before you had to be you know what, the one, the one plus year out of high school. Now when they when that rule gets implemented, you got the G League team like there's no reason that any of those guys that are you know, which is the people like me who love college basketball in March madness. It's really not there. It's a cult, just like something else that you guys are a part of. Mr Penn State Hater, Hey, you guys beat over and cool. Now you'll beat in the branch I was trying to be nice to you, but I can hear you once about sparty. Yeah, they stopped, they started, they stared, they stocked, you know, they stunk. It happens. Okay, they were running your up about Penn state. First Time we pled for bubble. Then you have nothing to say, kind of like a B on Monday night about hurts. Damn, I mean Michigan State sucked. They didn't. You know, there's not much you could say more than they shipped the bed. All right, we're going commando. What do we got going commando? Does that mean no topics? I know we're running running time and kickoff already happened. So did anybody overlook the fact that their nickname is they? That could it could be the commies and it's in DC. Perfect. Do you do you think there's gonna be? I think there'll be a lot of eagles swam. I think half it will be. URT IS gonna go by the railing when he goes back in. I think they're gonna have him come up to I don't know where gonna go. Yeah, but like if I had a guess, right you. I mean, listen, we've all heard like the people that are going with, you know, the very his programs, right, fans of Philly, the Philly sports trips. We should have asked him if he's a fan of the face paint. Is that going to be a new question too? Yeah, yes, I do. I'm not. Yes, he's like he's studio. One time we had him. We had we had him and yeah, we did. He was one of our guys had a beat with him and trying to get to him. He came in. He was he came in his studio. Was I actually he was going into the stadium. On Monday night. I hear this behind brody goes, oh, he's behind us, and I turned around and Jamie's like five people behind me. So I thurned, I said hide, was like, oh, he saw. He's just going a kid. So we haven't a connection with Jamie. I guess with the Philly Sports Guy. That's a hell of a good picture too, by the way. Yeah, we have to do about that, but yeah, he's a bit of that subjects. I guess he will not be returning on the show. I want to. I just realized this though. Predictions for years now, right, we've been doing this for five years, but I've been spending my Thursday nights with two dons and you would have thought that we got three dons. Crazy. I never what I thought I'd been in a in a virtual last time there was three dons and I remember it was probably a Mafia. My real name is Don and my real name is Don and DJ is line nickname. Oh God, I'm a junior. I got DJ for a minute. Okay, I'm not a junior, I'm Donald Joseph. But oh well, hold on, I'm Donald Joseph too. Whoa, what do jobs? Job?...

Cobra Kai? Yeah, speaking of Cobra Cai, real quick, that season, no one. Let's get there's a football game this weekend. Um, where's wins? When? Who He is? He's putting up. He's putting up numbers on both sides. He's got empty number interceptions, one on one. Um, there's lanes. They got no running game. The only thing that you can do is past the ball, and that's our strength right there, right yeah, because Washington seems to be going down early in Games. Even a week one they had a little bit of lead and then Jacksonville came back. So Hey, if you can shut down the passing game and force them to run, while getting to Wentz. I think the eagles win this game easily. And is anybody wearing that's a trap game? No, you have, you're gonna have, like we said, at least of that steadiame is gonna be. Will Be Eagles. They'll be fired there. A lot of this team is still on this team from the WENTZ era, so they're going to be fired up to play their old quarterback. Show them. You know why they got rid of them, rightfully and I think. I don't think it's saying it happens, but he's had something to prove for two years. That's what I'm saying. He will be but, as I said in the park a lot if anybody else other than Carson wentz was quarterback in this team, I would worry that it was a trap game. This is not a trap game. Is a broken man. He's not good easy. That's great. It's not gonna be this game. I hope these steaks act. Think they got a lot of pressure. I think. I think they end up getting a lot of pressure on them. So the predictions I just I hope. I'm waiting for when Baker Mayfield style to come out, and so I'm gonna kick their fucking ashes. He's not gonna do that. I'm gonna spit them like the seventeen. The Eagles will soar, though. I walked through the Valley of shut going come out. Yeah, yeah, you read the Bible, Mr Hurt, the commando. Um, I will say, just because it is an NFC, and I think nate you might have said this too, it's it's it's a division game. Yeah, they're always they're always tough. You are going down there, but it's gonna feel like a home game. We traveled very well, especially down there, and that's why. That's part of why I was like, yeah, I heard what happen. It's a cheap trip. Um, if you're going with someone. When I picked up our food from mom and used that, I asked the folks in there like what their thoughts were, and all guy, Mikey, he said seventeen. He feels like the front office has told them you need to destroy wes. How he's in the room, you know, game planning, like they say he's Are you do? Only there for the players, but Um, they're telling them that you need to destroy went so right. I think at the end of the day it's an easy win. Walking away maybe we even see gardener minshew. Oh, that next Thursday night. All right, we'll go around here. I don't know. Like like I I look at the matchup right and I look at at a position where they excelled last last week. Right there their their defensive backfield could not be playing any better. Right and if they were able to shut down Jefferson, feeling and cook the way that they were able to do right feeling doesn't get it doesn't get a catch until a fourth quarter. Avil Cook's under twenty yards rushing for the entire game. I look at Terry mclaurin, Johan Dotson, Chris Samuel, and I look at Darius slay, James Bradberry and the other guys that are in this defensive backfield and I don't see it. I don't see where they're able to consistently and efficiently move the ball down the field. I think those guys locked those guys up on the outside and I think this is the game where you might see some some pressure from the defensive line. I think you're gonna see a lot of aggression. I think Youre gonna see a lot of blitzing. I think we were talking last night. We were talking about like plays, like like what's the play that turns the game? And I don't necessarily think it's a play, but I think, I think this team is due for like a four plus sack game. Yeah, don't think guys like Fletcher and Brandon Graham are sitting there thinking, you know what, I couldn't touch this the whole time when he was here. Now I could tee off and drive him into the ground. And coupled with the fact that, like...

...they're in that whole super run, like the Super Bowl run. You know, he's essentially talking shit about you guys like not being on the field right some of those guys, some of those guys don't. They don't forget that ship. Yeah, and a lot of those guys are still that. They still remember that. So as many as many guys have turned over on his roster, I think there's a lot of guys that are like, this is my chance together to get in actual little revenge. Absolutely get the ginger. So what do you gotta do with ten? Wow, there you go. I think it's a rocking chair ride. I think they, you know, they're up, they're up big. They may, you know, they may be get a score late and I think it's a rocking chair ride. All right, I don't know which, which one you go? I want to go. Thirty four birds. Yeah, that's all you got to say. Are you serious? Who's got the big pleas? There's going to be a punch on the they're going to be all over the field, special teams. We didn't get our M v PNN. I mailed them out today. So alright, cool, cool, cool, mile saying there's three touchdowns. Yeah, all right, dude. No, it's a whiskey talking. Yeah, I'll go. I'm glad you're driving. Go there, you go get another MVP. Alright, what do you got? Seventeen. I think that. You know, Washington and two. Maybe stays in it a little bit once. Maybe maybe they can ball first, go down, scort, touchdown when starts feeling his nuts, and then and then they just start. But yeah, thirty one, seventeen. Where's your big player? I would say, Um, I actually think that Monty Smith and Dallas like that. I was I think they're. I think they're gonna key in on a j Brown, which is going to open it up for everybody else. So I'm kind of towns, I'm kind of with the room so far. I think it's I think it's a I mean, besides maybe don who had the blowout, but I think Washington keeps it competitive and then late in the game he will just pull away. I'M gonna go thirty three, three, okay, okay, hear me out. That the thing that puts it away, which is something this team has lacked for a couple of seasons now. Jake Gallio touch no, would be awesome. Either a kick return or punt returned from this special team where a touchdown. That reminded me. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. It's either cover your al and he's gotta go. He was this point. Yeah, he's not really doing much. Keud, you keep parking with the minions and maybe they say, maybe they stick quiz back there. Yeah, it probably did not show up, so I'm going with that's my bold prediction for the game. made it to the League. You're just a conductor to hurt stream. Think about it that way. If I didn't you back in high school, you'd be a water boy chasing the guy around. You only drink. Hey Cocks pickens made an insane kiss. No one cares to seven eagles foot from last week. Who makes a big play? WHO HAS A big game? Alright, alright, you know, I just like that. There you go, nate. What do you got? I know you don't like to give scores, but come on, give us a bet over the half right now. Yeah, just I think that I think that lines a little bit too high. Too High. Yeah, I think it's too high. It's a we know these and we and I was looking at some of the history. Um, we beat them twice last year, I think, and then the year before they beat us, so you know. And then obviously in the two thousand tens it was all Donovan. So we kind of beat them up pretty good and they were never good. So if I was betting this game, I would lean Washington first half. Um, I think it's a pretty decent what do you mean? Like spread? Yeah, the spread would be three and a half, I would think. I would think for the eagles, right, it would be plus three and a half Washington. Yeah, so you're saying like ten seven at a half or sometime something like that, like seventeen fourteens or something like that. That's where I would lean for the first half bet. Um, the game, though, score, these games are always tough. So I'm thinking like like, I...

...think Washington cover if they lose. I think they cover. They keep this close, like as good as we look like. I think Smindy, me and sminny agree on something today, that I think that whence is gonna be up for this game. Like wince has had this game circle for a while. It's not in Philly, it's in Washington, like I understands me. A lot of green in there, but it's all it's gonna be packed with a lot of Um, you know hogs out there, man that they used to call them so um in that state of Miss Trash Um. But I think it's gonna be h I think it's gonna be a good game. I really do. I really, I really do. And we're gonna see when that if that pressure turns up a little bit, let's see how, you know, hurts handles at and obviously how good Washington is. It's a good test for Washington, and I mean it's a it's a good test process because we like, like you guys said, Don you said it, Don's with the s. You all said it, that when you look at this division and you look at this conference, you don't really see a lot. Yeah, especially, especially with right. So even if he was even, he was good. I don't believe in anything that, Hman. So when you when you look at that, Um, you know Washington could be a sleepy pick to make the playoffs, like you know what I mean, like we all thought of one. So he listen. I just don't see where Washington scores pulling. I don't see. I don't see the avenue when they match up with this defense. Yeah, I just I don't see where they. YEARE talent than Washington, man, do they really do? That's close receivers, quarterback wide receivers are not better than Washington's wide receivers. I think I think is pretty gone. Hopkinson, though, no, but the Golfer Wins Golf. Really, dude, he's a broken man, like he like what wins is totally the guy that has all the intangibles right. He's got the strong arm, he's got the size and the arm strength. He just can't put it together. But he's got like he's like his like his brain. He steps on the field and his brain is like a bowl of Ramen, like it's just like no, and Don I agree with you. The only the only thing that I have a problem with people who are so bad on wins is because we saw wins his peak. His peak is M v P. So you see that person if he can find it, wherever it is, and he gets hot but good. We also sold the mental where he couldn't take he couldn't take a threat behind him and he crumbled and he was looking over his shoulder and he was hated in the locker room. And that peak. Is it going to happen this week? Well, we're seeing that, frank right, might not be really actually players felt the same way in indy as the eagles players did. I mean, I'm not, I'm not disagreeing with you, and maybe the guys in Washington are are falling in line, but all all I'm saying is is that when, like we're just comparing the Detroit team, I don't know, I don't think that that Detroit like I didn't think that Detroit team was that good. Yeah, yeah, here, but here's the thing that you're talking about. You're talking about him. If they can, if he can get back to that apex. Right. Yeah, when was the last time, like, like, like, like since so he gets he gets injured in that year when he gets injured, but he gets he gets injured in that year where they win the Super Bowl. Right. So and he was if he played, if that season plays out, he's M v P question like he was light years ahead, had ahead of everybody. But from the time that he came back and started playing for this team again and then goes to Indie and is now in Washington, when was the last time you saw a glimpse of what you saw in that Super Bowl Year? He didn't. He had three opportunities to get the coach a sweetheart and then had a kid with this random that was it. It was downhill for him. Thinking about it, you know it was they it was thirty fourteen. It's a garbage extra touchdow for Washington in the game.

I I think you're gonna see like the Caitlan Wallace is at the end of this game. You're not gonna see him. Look, they have no running game. They're their best running back is really a receiver and he hasn't done squat all season. Gibson, they're they're trying to put Curtis Sadel back. They're making deebo Samuel. It's it's not happening. And our strength, like I think everybody. Everybody said it tonight, right now, is the secondary if when he's got to throw the ball, it's not gonna happen. And we know how bad he is turning the ball over and it's a garbage touchdown to even make it fourteen. I agree, like, look at look at their look at their defensive backs. Right, Kendall, Fuller, Jamon UH Jamon Davis, right Kaarnem Carl, like, those are the guys that are going to be covered. A J Brown, Devante, Smith, Quees Watkins, Zach Pascal, anny game. Well, I'll take I'll take my group versus that group any day, and twice on Sunday. Alright, I realized there was one question we forgot to ask. It's probably good what you go out on. Were you happy when Andy Reid won the Super Bowl? Were you happy for Andy when he won a super bowl? As a dude? Sure, as an eagles fan, I couldn't get two ships. All right, didn't like that answer. The right answer was that was the most right the right like. The right answer is no, I couldn't get two ships, other than the fact that my next door neighbor is a chiefs fan. No, we don't know your next neigh we don't care exactly and nobody cares. Nobody knows my next one neighbor. All right, dot. Thank we're hanging out more time than I asked for, but I'm glad you were willing to hang around with us again like you're. You're close. You guys would have come into all night with US and hang out. We didn't even get to the to the standard thing. So are we touched on it? Away, we touched on it a little bit. Let's really grab it. Instead of just touching, we tend to grab it. Yeah, we tickled it. We're gonna grab it. Really, we haven't tickled an the money. WERE gonna get our hands on it really, really we have. We have yet to tickle some funny lines this year. So we got on that. UH, yeah, we're raising the standard in here. Boys, we have standards. I'm trying to keep you to begin with, there's a lot of ortization. So I would like collars every night. It would be great. Uh, I got your collar. We had name tags, Um, but you know, if we can JALEN's expecting to stand out out of his guys. I'm expecting to stand out of my guys and I'm expecting yards to help us keep this standard going. So you are brewingt company. We would love if you'd be the standard of the Santa Boot. First, that was good. Looking at our podcast. We left some money on the table. We did need. We need to get back. We got a whole week. We got a whole it was just were it was a short week. Yeah, we have on the table. We did all right. So we got our predictions in M VPS. Were sitting at our our stickers. Um Offensive M v P. OF COURSE IT hurts. Three thirty three T D...

...fifty seven eight yards with two rushing touchdowns. Statement game for hurts NFL tonight. But first player there may be a requirement of wearing, you know, handlebars or shaving your head or shaving an eyebrow to get on the train. Maybe the have to discuss the entry fees going forward from here on out. You're not touching this head of hair. Eyebrow. I don't know. I'll have to talk. Not Beards, not good enough. I'll shave the beard. An't you? I'd have to grow. I don't really grow it out too good on the stash. It's too blond. I mean you're too blond's, but if I shave I look like I'm ten, so there's nothing wrong with yeah, there is where you're trying to get into a bar and a bounces grow in your idea, like all right, and I'm twenty four to appreciate, I'm sure when I'm fifty, but I ain't there yet. And slay got the defensive mvpn week and NFC defensive players should have had. I wonder what you would have had. Four intersects more six. But which do you think he values more? The NFC player, defense player a week, or the Santa Bu First? How's that even a question? Yeah, I mean we'll. He'll have it on his lockers. That I will say. There was a there was a video, locker room video with a J and his locker roos behind him and I was like freezing, like, you know, zooming in and see if I could see the stick. And we gotta start putting it on social media. I did think about tagging Jen. Yeah, I should have took a p I didn't take the picture. You send it to us and chat today, but you'll find it. Yeah, we're not involved in IT'S R rated. All right, that's good. Any last comments? Red October is not happening. Want nothing right now. Excellent to each other.
