ABOUT THIS EPISODE

Wos still getting used to that. Tommy, I hear you. I like it though. I like it, though. It's just Jim Marcus. We're with you on a Thursday night. Thursday night special. So Thursday night football. Shout out to the Ryan Cross Country Team. My girls will be running up in the Bronx Saturday. So I'll be up in the Bronx and at St Anson's we got a big October fest. Yeah, somebody get the beer. Going to be slinging beers. Yep, and that voice you here is Mr Deke Mark Te. How are you, sir? Good evening, how are you? Fantastic. We have a special guest. That what we do. Always like to interact and I said if we got any of you out there to want to come in Talk Sports with us, we'll talk any kind of sports. We will talk more than sports. We talk food, we talked drake whatever. Come on in. So we had somebody take us up on that. Another park with guy, Anthony Frat. I don't want to put your last name, Frotendui. No, I get it close, close, let's go it all the Friday good, absolutely great. Depends on Tego. You want to get what us well, I want to. Want to drop up in German. So you want to drop a front and DWOLLN all day? We'll save that when we're on the other side of the pond. Yeah, we're drinking. We're drinking POPs Irish whiskey tonight. Celler, right, we bring a lemon cell out with maybe then at all. Yeah, this is definitely the whole number of my throat. So we're EXCO. We're going to talk eagles. Of course. This is more of a eagles football based PODCAST. Eagle centric, Eagle centric, yes, like that phrase before we continue, powered by POPs and also sponsored by Matt Melody, the MGM Agency, Insure Phillycom we got you covered. Boom so and starting to roll right off shot, start to starting to really pick this up. If they're season three, it's only take this three years to get our shit together. But there are some big news in the Philly sports system today. Yes, all one, Gabe Kapler is no longer the skipper of our fills. We talked, we went into a little overtime last Saturday with the show. We talked about the fills and what we thought was going to happen. And here we are, not even a week later, and game is gone. What happens next? CYANURA happy to see him go, the chip Kelly of baseball. Boom. Yeah, that's a good analyze right there. That's right there. Yeah, I'm I'm glad to see him go, but I don't hold him most accountable for what happens. I hold the front office more accountable, especially Mr Clintach. You know Gabe. Gabe could only work with what he was dealt with. You know the cards he was dealt when when the bullplan exploded, when the Cutchen went down, they didn't really bring anybody in. They did nothing for the bullpen. They never got any solid starters after Noah, and when the cutching get down went down, it had a domino effect throughout the entire lineup. That was never addressed. I mean, you got it. You know your two biggest hitters, batten one and two. You know, and that that's on Gabe. But I mean he was never given, you know, they everything they brought in from a cutchen blew up in their faces. No, nobody helped, nobody worked. And you know, I lay that at the feet of of mcclintach and mcfail. I'm not sure what his title is and I sure as hell don't know what he's doing there other than a high priced go between between the front office and and Clintach. I really don't know. You know, his quote this summer was if we do, we do, if we don't, we don't, and that let went over like a lead balloon. For what? Not Quite as if in this but pretty close. We'll get there. Yeah, and it just you know, that was the whole anything. He kept repeating this this damn well, if the playoffs started today, we just you know what, Dude, when the when the season was ended, when the playoffs did start, you weren't there, and that's all that matter. It doesn't matter what you are the end of July, the beginning the walls, August, if they're starting, we're in the PUTT it. They don't start in July. They start in September, the October, all those if, if we did, if we did, that drove me insane every time he said that if the playoffs start. Guess what, they're not starting tonight. My if my aunt had ball, should be my uncle. That's exactly what I was just gonna say. I had a dud. Usually goes with the the cliches, and I knew DJ's probably bite his tongue la. Yeah, bring that outside Jo it kind of like if she's got a mustache, it's my uncle. Now. What are your thoughts on Mr Kaplod Air?...

I think he watched the game. Manage the game. Is a manager. You got to be two steps ahead of what's going on on the field. So how many times was he flatfooted when, you know, picture ran out of gas or just start getting lit up? You know, you look in the bullpen. Why is why is nobody in the bullpen? There's nobody in the bullpen. What's he doing? He's watching too much, he's not thinking a game throw. I mean you got you have to be two steps ahead at all times and if you're not, that's what happens to you, and that's that's kind of surprising. Coming from somebody who played the game for thirteen year all as a professionally played the game for thirty. He played the game his entire life. So somebody coming off a thirteen year career in the in the major league's, that's surprised at the you know, it's a good observation, but it's surprising to hear that about somebody you played that long in the major league's. Hey, sometimes, you know, don't matter you play ball, you can not be a good manager. Right, well, what they say you can't do teach. Yeah, but well, in his case, is enough to get to the big leagues. Yeah, but and it's and see, I always say, you know, it's the guys that make the better coaches to the x players that make the better coaches are the ones who weren't relying solely on their talent. scrappers, right, it's that cause they had to study the game boards. Yeah, they have to study the game, they have to know the nuances of the game, they have to be steps ahead of everybody because they don't rely solely on their talent to get them through their career. Yep, and you know, they have to know the game inside and out to sustain a career in there, whatever the sport is, and that was what gave Kappa was he was a guy that had to study the game to sustain a career. He wasn't you know, what position did he play? outfield. outfield. Okay, so he wasn't a Gary Maddox, he wasn't a Bryce Harper. He wasn't somebody like that that rely, you know, could get by on their talent. I don't think he was a starter, like a real, real starter, any time in his career. Now he was more, you know, a six thousand and seventy game guy came in and somebody got her. He was right worth Alfield and one x amount of this. He started out with the royals, I think. Right he start king for our farm system and my knowdgers. I know he played the red sox and want to chip there. Okay, he wasn't one of their championship teams are but she'll oh for I think it was the o four team mess bloody sock. So it's interesting name that you bring up. There Shell any chin? Any chance there's any X phillies like? I don't. The phillies aren't like the flyers where they just like to go through their retreads and bring them back his coaches. But it's funny because Lenny Distra, he's been out on social media saying bringing me, bringing Brett Myers, bringing shilling will turn this team around and they'll turn them around. I'm about to turn them to a winning team, but probably the party will be good. Yeah, right, you know that's cases and cases of Miller Lake in the in the locker room there. Who Was it? WAS IT Frankona? They got plastic with the red socks for having the fried chicken in there and it wasn't there. Story with him, with Tito and anyway. Yeah, yeah, I can't recall that. But so in there some of the names that are out there that might be taken Kapler's place. We talked a little bit of the ride out here, like do you want another unproven guy? A Banya's was a name. It's out there, although not he said that he's not really interested. But then all the everybody else is a retread. Buck Show Waller, you hear that? Because he's got a connection to mcfail, I think. Yeah, they yeah, because mcfail was the bottimore connection. Was Him and Clintock. They book came from Baltimore and he was the manager when they were doing it about Joe Madden. A love to say it. I personally I want Girardi. Girardia was the next day I was going to throw out. There's my guy who, if that's your that's probably by want him number one. Yep, here's an interesting name that doc brought up, Mike Sosha, and he puts his oddes at three to one. He's old school. Three two one way, three two one. The me his favorite as show water, even even odds for show water. Yeah, because it mcfail, right, right. I would love to see so she's a hometown guy kind of. I think he's from Springfield delco. You know, he's got a nice track record out there with the with the angels. He's a life lifer in the game at Baseball alute. He was a Catcher, which is huge. is they usually make own a game. Yeah, they have to know what's going on in the they're the only one that sees the entire field at all times. They have to know what's going on and that's a position that studies the game, your general on the field correct so you know in Girardi was another catcher saw you know that those are usually, you know, top notch managers. I don't know how many world series catchers as managers have won, but they usually make a pretty decent manager. Ned...

Yost, yeah, you you well, you've heard his name out there. No, no, but that he who? He's one. GIRARDI got out. Yeah, right, a Banys, we mentioned earlier. He's docks got him at fifteen to one. It's kind of a dark horse. Dusty. Look that doc is given us odds. I like that. Yeah, good job that. He says. This is how he sees it and what he's heard is his odds and he's got his long shot at Dusty Watton at twenty five the one and he he's he doesn't see whaffing getting the job because of his affiliation with Kapler, and I agree with that. He was through this bad experiment. Yeah, the regime. I tend to agree with that. You know, I don't see dusty Roboni is getting the job. Eyes Show. Walter probably is the top. About a list about this name John Farrell, red socks. HMM, see on the staff now. No, no, he they got rid of him for Cora. Okay, he won a world series, okay, all right. He was the one who won the world series before cor just one okay, and they got rid of him here. He actually him and that thus the weath and were the ones that were the true finalists other than Gabe okay, for the job when they gave the game. So this is why we brought you on the show. You if you really want to get bad he we can really get into the scouting you need. I'll borry it. It tears with that. We have a guy that's a writer for for yellow jacket here, Mikey McCafferty, that comes on our show every once in a while. He's it's Big Philly. This guy also gets into the football with us, but up obvious just pulling up some of his tweets. So there's a there's a couple of many other names that I've never heard of that he's thrown out there. So he say throw money at Josh Bard. Experience coaching at the MLB. No, I don't know his and the other ways. Sam Fold, he'd be a first time manager. Then he plays him. He believes he'd be clint text top choice, but not Middleton's fall was a coach for he played for us like his last year or something, and then he's he he's at our system. Okay, he's one of the guys and like double at or something. Yeah, he's like double or something. I actually would prefer Girardi. Actually, he's one of those guys who's not on the field. He's somebody who, you know, like gives his opinion. Okay. Well, players that are in the system. Okay, you know what I mean, that guy, Sam fold. HMM. Yeah, you're a boy, Mike Mlilo. Apparently you made a point that he liked. You said good point for it. I'm not sure. He didn't specify which point, though. Hey, P and p cats looking for a sponsor here, my friend. It's a fantastic food. Yeah, now did I've never had a bad meal there. Yeah, absolutely, best catering around. They married. Might have my wedding reception with their all meet me too. I'm time familiar to right. Who is this? PEMP cares MOLOLO's no, we're at you kidding me? You say you're from pre park wick. Kid. I left park with. Are Real things closed? For Christ's sake, they were around before their all right, I'm out. I'm sorry. Overall towns and road, road, yeah, I know, we tech club. Yeah, yeah, there, that's there's those halls. Man, as I don't cater man, I bring my own right. M You're listening to. We need some food to bring into the lunch box. So you show up in a wedding reception. W Yeah, what his giants lunchbox. That's got me. If I do it, if I knew what Mike you were on, this would all change. Oh good, father brother, can I give you coach, dead manager. HMM. What about Clint Hurdle? Here you go. HMM. And they always develop guys in Pittsburgh. They just never paid them. Yeah, yeah, yeah, he's one out. They got rid of the kid, Jerrek Hole, and they got rid of the ball, the guy who's pitching that night. The glass. Now they both were on Pittsburgh. You get you give it a yeah, he got rid of me. It's it's happy. Yeah, I hear that. Now you're you're in. Now you're in your got me to myself. I say, I don't want say anything wrong. They were like the expos of the old days. X. So many great players came from the expose, but they just couldn't afford them and they ended up going elsewhere. And turn it on, it there and a lot of big names that came out of the exposed organization that they just couldn't hold on to, like like the pirates. Absolutely you can develop they just can't keep them in talent man's a sad part. So you you started off saying that it sounds like you think Kapler's escape good and I agree to a certain agree with front. You See, I'm like he does. He definitely deserved it. He's the pound of flesh. Yeah, exactly, he's the pig. Yes, there pound of fly. Can't fire twenty five guys, so you fire one. It the the problem at Middleton won't didn't want to fire clentact because it looks like...

...as such a mistake, but the problem is it was. Yeah, they're scouting St Terrible. You know, there's a guy that's last names or tease we he came from the Dominican. The phillies have one of the biggest Dominican Republic academies there. No, I've read an article about that. Who have they got? Nobody. Okay, ready for this? Was it a KUNA? It's either a KUNA or Soto. And let me see. Wait, ready, and and let me add Fernando Tatis Jr. Okay, we paid this kid for million dollars, this orte's kid. Okay, sixteen. It was a few years ago, same year that Soto Akuna and Fernando Tatis junior came out. We paid this kid four million dollars. Okay. Fernando Tatis was bought for seven hundred and fifty, all right. A KUNA junior was under it was, I think, around the same amount of money, and Sodo, I think, was like three hundred and twenty Fivezero. Wow. So you know, look at it. This kid is like the the big kid when you're thirteen who's hitting bombs, and then when US her sixteen and everybody filled out, got bigger. Hmmm, he he can't do nothing. You're the same size. Still, you're still in the same fifteen. You're older. Everybody else's right. You're the man child, hitting, hitting off the kids. You know you're you're a hundred and seventy pounds and everyone else is like a hundred and ten wet with five pound weights in each pocket. Deacon I used to coach a baseball team together. He'll tell you it was you know, it was like that. But, and that's the problem. They can't develop their own players because they don't know who the hell they're picking. They don't know what talent looks like. And you know, we talked about the last you know podcast, you guys that were on then. I was shooting the deec about Mike arbuckle and him losing the GM job to Ruben. Tomorrow. He went and turn around Kansas City. They were bad for years before he got there and we were just talking about right on your way, and then he comes over. They win a world series and they probably should have won another one the first year they went to the world series when he played Sam Frand. It's all about choir and talent knowing what to do with it. And obviously who you know? The Kit was the Guy Brad looper. He was another mcfail Guy in Baltimore. They've been picking for how long Baltimore. WHO HAVE THEY DEVELOPED? I mean, can you think of one like maybe Zach Britton, but you know. So then who that is? Clint Tech, responsible then for the farm systems? To absolutely him and mcpail. So it's I think your points good there. Right that Middleton, he's not going to say I'm wrong. Right, ntact. Right, Clintech, you take you take the heat. Yeah, and you say you were wrong with the Kemmler. Yeah, hire that. That's why sometimes teams don't cut a first or set, especially in football, where they're expected to produce right away. Not necessarily in baseball, but first and second round picks in football are expected to produce right away and when they don't, City Jones, it'll tell or ja, Kwan Jarrett, I don't know if he was. I know it wasn't first. Was He second? I was gonna save a fourth. I thought third or fourth. Okay, but it'll take them three, maybe four years to get rid of it. For Marky Smith out there here, right right. It'll take three or four years to get rid of those guys because they don't want to admit the mistake. And it's the same thing with Matt Clintach. They don't want to admit the mistake. It's ego yet right, yeah, that, yes, and when you're a multibillionaire you got a lot of ego. I also blame the Scouting Department in the player Development Department, because they're they're not. They're they're drafting kids that are not that they take years to come up. If they come up. Mickey Monia Yeah, well, he was straight out of high school, so you kind of give him a pass armed but he's not making any progress. He's it's four years ago. Is that what that was? Four years ago? He I didn't know it was that long ago. How about you like to how about Cornelius Randolph? You know, they could had a they could have had bueler. Yeah, the kid that the dodge, the one who's there based on their their number one, now took over Kershaw to go way back Frank Thomas, and they picked Jeff Stone instead. Yeah, he was stuck a low level, a ball me. But I mean, did you know, did this this scouting department, in player Development Department? They you're going back decades, outside of our buckles, time outside of that, in the early s when Chasaut Lee, Jimmy Rowlands, those guys were coming on. Howard right, all those guys, Madsen Right, call, call all that God. Yeah, and here's the sad part with it. No, no one really gives the guy credit because they shoot him out the door. Edwait, I was just gonna says greatly. Yes, and anyway, Houston they were all his God a team there. Yep, he was. So it was...

...he there when they won. Find No, Oh no, now days, didn't know. He was getting pieces. Still swinging in a tree with it from his parachute, I think. But I mean so now Sony Bono hitting trees. Now Sony died. So they stay sunny. That was sunny. But yeah, what you call you got to go back to the s to find guys that they brought up through their system that made it impact absolutely. And when I mean go back to the set, I'm talking Lozynski, Schmido Schmidt, you know, those guys that that Groofmin right. So it's you know, you gotta go back decades after that, are in the early s, to find anybody that they've developed. And what pitching? o the Nicole, Hammils, Brett Myers, who's the one you mentioned, Adson, Matt Ryan Matson. What kind of pictures have they brought up that if you know? Now we have Aaron Olet, but he had he went backwards. This year, you know, the pitching has been Jan you know bereft hitch, all these guys, Gavin Floyd, yeah, to be great, right. who then have a couple DEC in? Yeah, yeah, they're not put there's they're not dominant. Now who is the guy who had the knuckle curve. That was the unheitible pitch, and they what was his name? Dan't? Now we're ly now that the dude this played at Rice, the son of some pictured. I'm going black, but he had the knuckle curve and it was supposed to be unhitable. Pitch through like ninety six. Now dug DREBECK's kid. Yeah, that wasn't him. Kyle, Kyle, now, that wasn't him, the one. I'm thinking. He'd had the knuckle curve. He had good stuff, but he want to hurt in his arm and they turned into nothing. To write me. Didn't they trade him? Wasn't he a Pars Heals, part of these trade deal cliff Ly, tray, I forget who, but he was in the trade lost in. I to listen there. Yeah, picture got here. Yes, yeah, it was, because he was supposed to be. He was. Yeah, he was a second rounder. Yeah, he was a second round. It was doing good. Wonder who he sued other than the Phillies and and the guy who produced the well, no, that was he was working out. You get hurt on the field? No, Oh, no, he was working out and something. You know, like me, I don't know. It was a band or, you know, some kind of you know, no autilus machine or something. Something snapped and cracked them right in the eye and he lost his eye. That was a game over. So he's not getting millions from the MLB, but probably from that as somebody's paying them. Yeah, I doubt he's working swinging a hammer anywhere. I doubt it. M It's just it's pathetic the system. That's of great word for their sandy and they they keep trying to do patchwork with trades and free agents. And you know the efficient way and the cheap way to build a team is through the draft, and that's in all sports. Yep, you know your draft players and you developed them and when they come up they're still on a cheap contract for the first few years or their their career, and if they pay it out, then you resign them. Look at everybody who's in the playoffs, in even the guys who are out. I'm saying even just the playoff teams, right, right, every one of those teams has great player development. I mean look at the race and they spend nothing. Yeah, they spend nothing and they and you know, backtoback ninety was a ninety five wins, MMM, and as much as very in the same divisions as the Red Sox and the rankies, right, I mean they're not playing cream props. I mean it's not like New England and you know, their football playing in their division. Yeah, jets in the dolphins, as much as I enjoyed watching the braves go down in flames. Yeah, they're not going anywhere. Oh No, they're sounded and they're young. They're it. So they're not going in the national's. You got. Yeah, yeah, it's sad. This team's going to need yes, and you know, the mets were kind of in the same boat we wire. There were expectations that never came to fruition. But you know, they already fired their manager. I'm sure they're in the hunt for you know, I've heard Girardi's name mentioned with them. Yep, so they know they're they they got a what almost a two week head start on us in trying to get a manager. And don't forget, they finished ten games. who were five hundred? Yeah, and we were a game on the ten games. Yeah, you know, and and as pathetic as the Marlins were, I think her I know you're going to know I think we had a losing record against the MARLINS. Absolutely, I mean and they were. They were like thirty games, Forty Games on the five hundred fifty. They wondred. Fifty nine. They want fifty nine. They were to seventy two fills. Did they have Steve Carlton Win in Twenty Seven Games? Little Rick Wise Trade will give you a rick wise and bag of baseballs for Steve Carl Right. Were they sure drinking some whiskey? Sure? How many balls are in that bad? Yeah, we talking dozens. Are We talk?...

Any of them scuffed up or they right out at a box? Yeah, they got rid. They ain't got any of that that bayoume mud on them. They put out good. I read an article about that over in south chairs by. Yep, maybe it's a something that chuck weatoner blood on them on the M Bayoume. You know, the old Bayoum bleeder. Yeah, and so to Philly. They got their work cut out for them, man. You know they got it. They got got to get a manager. And another thing we talked about. Their coaches, whoever it is, are already in place. Yeah, it's is the pitching and sister retaining him for now. But I wonder if they bring a manager and they say, well, I forget one of you two guys set on the way over. I'm sure that if the manager, the new manager, wants and his staff, he's going to get his own stuff. Oh that I'll have one of the mean stimulations of him sign it. Yeah, what I mean, that's how bad look on the phillies to retain all those coaches. Whole things are bad. Look at. Well, I mean to fire the manager, but not to fire his staff and the in also, it's a bad look to keep this the old staff, when you get rid of a manager. I cause any potential new managers going to be like, what's going on over there? If this organization is running the way we're saying, where the top ones to be able to give it to the bottom to blame. So they're say it, look, we're not the big guys. Don't fire the whole staff. We're going to bring a new manager. If he doesn't like you, he's firing. Yeah, right, we retain the whole staff, except for what the three did, pitching coach, the hitting coach, because Charlie finally decided to retire. I guess. Yeah, if I'm the new manager I come in, I I don't want him as my bench coach. I don't. I have a third base coach already of mine. I don't. I got my guys. Yeah, you're not going to. Clint Hack is absolutely on the hot seat. Oh God, yeah, he's can't sit down on that seat now. He's all fire. I mean they have like. I mean for my money that he's got to make the playoffs next year to keep his job. I can't see how. I mean. Is this your four or your five? Next? Will next year be five form for Clintact? Is that five? That would be your five. He's got four in so we're where's his people? We're position guys. Yeah, where are the a doc says is going to take ten years minimum to fix the form. I will go. I would. I cut that in half. Well, if you get somebody intend point is today. My point is it's been broken. Oh well, for decades outside of two hours, so ill ever since. Another ten years for everybody. It's a mark, it's sure is how better not be in all the ten years. They won't, ever, they'll waste, Bryce Harper. That's what I'm afraid that's the waste. I mean Nolah yeah, absolutely. Yeah, yeah, you need it. Honestly, you need a number one to go at Nolah, go get your call. Yeah, I don't just make it. Huh? He was never supposed to be the number well, no, just buy the fault because right, yeah, I mean last year, last year, he pitched like a number one. Absolutely, and you know, we were talking earlier about the pitching coach. Did he did? He jam him up? Yeah, you know what I mean. I mean. And with that fallen, we talked about e FLN right, ethel was a totally different picture, a three stop listen. He stopped listening to them. Today, pitching coach, you got tossed. I mean totally. So you got you got to know your players when you're coaching them up. I mean you cut good thing's been a coach a million years. You got to coach your guys up in the right way. You can't tell them what they can you got to know your players and know what they can and can can't do right. You can't have Zach Eflin throwing for seem high fastballs and he tops out at ninety two. Can't do it, and that's why he was getting smoked. What heat? You know, totally flipped the swort switcher, went back to throwing the his but it's a fastball, but it's a like a second later it's a sick it's a sincond fastball. He throws soon as he went back that at the the Arra drop, he was like to to something last I think thirteen starts. So, I mean you got to know your players and know what they can do. You can't have a guy throwing ninety two to a major league player and and expect him to succeed. You're not Sett them up for success, not even close right. I mean it's it's beyond it's funny. You know, twenty thirty years ago a starting pictured it through over ninety. That was pretty impressive, absolutely, but a starting picture. Now it's got to be ninety five or above, no question. And the lefty and left the IT. That's the other thing we were talking about. The no left handers in this rotation. Zero. Yeah, Dallas sitting there. You could have had them. You can't tell me that they that they would have made the playoffs without him and him and all. Yeah, not. I mean even as pathetic is, at least last yea. They want they're up until the last day instead of out of it with two weeks to go. Absolutely, I mean it's not even a question. I mean and Clintack doesn't cost that, doesn't even go. He doesn't go to even look at him. MMM. I mean, come...

...on, there's there's fuelers out there. Those guys all talk. I mean he could be like right, you know, hey, I, you know, you know. I was in wherever he was in California and I saw Kik will throwing look pretty good and and Middleton should have been saying to what am I pain you? We need dude. What were you doing that day that you here to could a great one. And what are you doing? I'm paying you to be a general manager. Go general manage somewhere or somebody. What's eat a popsicle somewhere. He doesn't need to say he was back frunch in the number right, right, right. You know, I don't need to see what he looks like. It did show me his number. Defense went off ten sacks, like I said, we it was Ted the first time in history where a team had ten sacks and too, defensive touchdown. Yes, so little get first timmy team history. I think it was first time. I felt as history. Other than that, it wasn't very exciting game. Right, it was just kind of it with the offense. St Time Out of second about it row cause it away. I tied in that. We got your cover business. Yep, Yep, DJ says, don't feed into a Zegos as the head swell. He's DJ studying. Better Start Right. Yeah, do you need to be studied? Don't you have a test or something tomorrow? Paper to are you better be drinking Thursday night? Yes, he is. That's right. Yeah, there's no heat, there's no class. He did it too. He did the smart way. He made Monday his first class at one o'clock and I think Friday is in the afternoon. to Ye. Kind of give them props on that. Kenny DJ said, pops and get some study on. Oh yeah, he's yes, yeah, he's got done. He can multitask. Yes, you can multitask. He's all growed up, all growed up as big boy pants are. That's right, they call they called Waist Chester for for a reason. Thursday to Sunday. Great, that's that's where animal was thinking about going. He's actually yeah, I think there you go. Guy Cuts down those polner coteels. Yeah, it's West Chester Monday through Thursday and then way shares their from Thursday to Sunday. I believe that's a well developed and established rep correct. They look Tommy, Happy Valley. We were always happy. I was Monday through Sunday. Exactly. That's what that's why I took me five years to get out there right every summer. Parents aren't pissed about that still, but look, it's paid off. Looking Real, liken, you're right. I got a journalism degree. I'm running a board right now. Maybe now we I learned stair diving in Penn state, stare diving. MMM, you know that? You know that is Posi. I sure do. Yeah, if they're doing a bunch of this stuff, I think it was more like ever claire. Yeah, that'll do a little jungle juice action. I couldn't tell you that. The football player that jumped on me, but he threw me down like twelve steps. The ideas you jump down the steps and then just dud, just keep jumping down. Oh what that pile on the rabbit. Yeah, it's a bad idea. Yeah, yeah, Itally really bad idea. Yeah, it's it's a moment. It's a good idea. No, that's not yet, any time at all. In a good idea. That, you know, ten, twenty beers then, yeah, it's not really you know, you're all fired up, you're feeling until Nah, now he's the Oh my God. Yeah, dude, it's like it's like two hundred and seventy five pound Liman. Yeah, this is this is back like like ninety one or something. And Yeah, he just of all the stupid, dumb things I've done in my life, that's not on the list. Nah, that was fun. Kind of like I want to purgatory back in the day. If what was purgatory s early dating ourselves. I'd MM. What was the craziest place ever, though. We got to throw out of MVP a Maloni. Oh yeahlodia game last week. I got, I got, I really there's really only one in my mind. Brady Graham. Three sacks. He brought it. You can throw out Gary for his I was thinking him. He would throw out Orlando Scandrick, the ex cowboy. M No, he's an interception. He's an ex cowper. That was a fumble, right, they rip them out. He just drifted out of his hand and he had two sacks as well. Did he real? Yeah, and don't and just remember he was just sitting on the street.

Yeah, right, but he is an ex cowboy, so he's got it. That against them. So who you get home with them? BG? Yeah, I want to go a great. The offense didn't really do my no, nobody. Only a deserves any recognition or they were off praise. So I do want to talk a little bit about Derek Barnett, but we do the MINISOTA preview first. Let's let's talk. Let's touch on Derek Barnett. I think he's got a problem between his ears today, so that he's got three on sportsmanlike conduct penalties. Two of them I think are definitely deserved. The one from the first game and that was a little orderline, borderline to me. But yeah, he crush Justin Williams and a Green Bay game and if you see the video this week of what he did to that Lineman. Now, granted the offensive line was like kind of like Jab but I'm going down to field, but he would write his knees. He just dropped right at his knees. So that was so is he? Marcus Hayes had an article yesterday that he's going to be the next Vonte Bird Vantez perfect, which I think that's a bit extreme, but he has three penalties this year alone and I think perfect as like six over the last eight. So perfect's a bad guy. Yeah, he takes some cheapshots. Maybe his here a little more blatant, but Derek Barnett getting tagged with his dirty player tag. You're putting an x on your back on that. Yeah, now that look now they're looking for you even more. They're looking for you and you can't you can't hide. He missed a season, so is he trying to make a name and by trying to do that and trying to get like we talked him right out with city. Jones is looking at all right. I'm coming up on a year where I'm going to need to get paid. So he's going a little too much, he's going a little too strong and he needs to get some sacks. I don't get him my name. He's got a couple this season. He's he's probably been one of their best rushers. He hasn't gotten a quarterback yet, but that's been the story for the whole team until this week. Ye, with their ten sex this week. Hey, wait, we leave, we leave the league and pressures exactly. Yeah, it's that great, great, well, show me where the interceptors are coming from, the ashes, and show me where the sacks are coming from. I made that point last last week. We talk yeah, that a sacks are great and yes, it's sacks. Yes, are great and they make your your cornerbacks way better than they are. Yes, but I love exacts. I love sacks. Also, tobby, tough. Let's get that. That's get that great, like get that, cut that up for this ACK S I love a lot of sucks. Now we got that. Yeah, you were. You tell all that. You Remember? Yeah, Oh, yeah, I just want to make sure we icolate what dee just said so we can play that it later. Right, I'll work on that, man. I'll try to figure that out. You met. We make a ramp rap piddio about that. If you're not susy, he's as sacks. Yeah, it's there. As long as you get pressures, Harry's whatever, and make a bad throw, make that quarterback on comfortable, get two hits on them. That serves a purpose to no, it's it's not to say you're not losing yardage. I understand APP because you get that with the sack. Yes, but it's still serves a purpose making a quarterback oncomfortable. You know, maybe you get an interception out of it. Whatever. Hey, even Tommy terrific. Isn't that great when he's not in the pocket? Correct, right, Chad. Look at the interception he had earlier. There it is. So do you think Derek Bartnett? Is he a dirty player with these shots he's taken? All right, I just said I said two out of the three. Yes, I think we're cheapshots, uncalled for, but I I'm not ready to call him dirty. Yet I think he's still a young kid trying to make a name for himself, probably not the best way. Like you said, Fret, because now all these ebers are looking at you a little rader and every little thing you do after the whistle, where they might have let it go in the pass which pushing in Shoven, now there more likely to throw the flag on you. Back in the day, I'll be your coach grabbing you by the face mask. Yeah, and straighten your eyes. Yeah, exactly, and it's her, apparently. Dugs. Talk to him. Is there anybody on that defense, though? That Fletcher is seems like a big goofball to me. Malcolm is probably the leader of the defense. Yes, but I feel like the lineman kind of stick to themselves, like I like Malcolm. Can tell him, y'all, make keep your head straight. Your calls on US yardage. You. Yeah, costume his please. Yeah, you're going to Coss as a game, but Jason Peters in the offensive side. I think Jason Peter should be able to say for the whole team, because I don't know anybody wants to message Jason Peters. Do you know? He's the only ult doesn't lay in shee. I won the watch make because it still probably doesn't go off that on. He's a guy I don't want playing that game, the twelve step or whatever the call. Well, now, back in the day he was a tight en. He was probably yeah, sure, right, try to twenty. Yes,...

...yes, a little more spelt back in the day. Yeah, he's probably pushing to twenty. Yeah, I forgot about that. Yeah, you know, there wasn't a whole lot of issues, a lot of drama in an Andy Reid locker room, specially when they were winning. If there was, I'm sure be doc could handled it. You know, dout. Yeah, and I and I don't. I'm not comparing Jenkins as a player, you know, performance wise, at with Beatdalk, but in the leadership category he's comparable, to be dark and I think he would. He's the kind of guy that could get into even alignman's face and say look, you got to cut this out. You know, you need to clean up your act and and play, you know, make the effort to play a better game and stop this nonsense that's going to get us a flag at a time where we don't need a flag and be, you know, a killer force. Yeah, I think the first two were he could use the excuse that I was playing to the to the whistle, and sure know you can use that excuse. I'm not buying it for the hit on Justin Williams m but this the one this week where he just went down to the LINEMAN's lands. There is there is no need for and and after that speech by Jason Kelly, he can get into anybody's face on either side at a ball and read them the riot act. Don't forget the phillies brought in be doc for. That's right, that's right. For a little. There you go, session down there and up front. From all told, you know, not one eye wasn't looking anywhere but him. Hmm, he just commands that. He just commandered absolutely. I mean he walks in and talk, starts talking. Forget it, you're you know. It's as say, there's God right there. That's a great description and was perfect way to describe him. The commands, the room's presents. Me Walks in, it's like boom, who, Whoa, who's that dude? Yep, I don't have to know who he is. Yeah, I mean you could be like a non sports guy and him come in and start talking you're like, yeah, who's it was? Oh, wait a minute, the hall of fame ceremony. Oh yeah, like we were out there and he says he was totally on. He had script it, he had a speech that he wanted to give. He saw troy and he said, you know what, I'm just going to go and out there. SAFETIES don't get a lot of recognition in the league. So where they were like bears fades because of that ear, are locker and Stud and they're saying after Dawkins, like all these fans just taiting us. Man. That's he seems like he's a really good dude and that speech was great and we didn't really know much about them. But how could you not? I just I mean our lacker was a stud. I know that. I know that in your I mean you know you can be a homer, but I mean, come on, you don't know about Doggins? I mean that's like saying you don't know. You know about Reggie's want of clothes or yeah, we're saying, all right, I started to look at like some of the dirtiest players in the list of dirtiest players and he was have a few on their dirty waters. Yeah, Andre Mudy waters wasn't the highest one, though. who was the heighest of eath? On the Eagles? Running? Yeah, running. He was another guy that they have. Did he like an all see back. So you want to stand around a pile? What's Hee? A politician now, right, he was not even not anymore. He does. He was a center. Yeah, really was he? Senator? M Senator, Yep, one term and he says I've had enough at his bullshit. I'm out. He can't be Brod. He's got enough cash. So, yeah, it probably had tried them more like yeah, this is real bullshit. They I don't want to deal I don't need to deal with this. I don't want to deal with this. Amount the the offensive Lineman for a St Louis Cardinals back in the day. My God, Oh God, right, dobler. He was consistently voted the dirtiest player in the League each year. Guard. He was an offensive lineman. I'm going to get I guess he was a guard. I don't know if he's a quarter tackle. It's a guard. Conrad Dobler, imber, I remember that name. Yep. Yeah, they said when at the bottom of the pile. I forgot it. He'd be Gouging Your Eyes, grabbing your cross say whatever. There's a couple names in there to surprise me that we're in there giving it a fish Hook Jack Tatof oh my God. Yeah, a dirty play. I never knew hiven. I knew he was a heavy hitter, but all is it dirty c because you don't remember from Yeah, after Raider, Daryl Stingley. Dude, I was just gonna bring him up. We talked about this, right, Daryl Stingley. He's not the one to get pack. Yeah, Patriots pleaser. Yes, it was Kadom. It did them all right. Yeah, yeah, he, Stingley, went up for in a preseason game and he came when the starters used to play. Yeah, he goes up where the fall was good. Right, he goes up for the ball and their hugs down. He they were missiles. Right. He was about he had to be two feet off the ground and tatum came in from...

...from behind and took him out like at his knees or a little lower, and Stingley did two or three flips in the air, landed on his head, broke his neck and he was done. took him out on a stretcher. I think. I was watching the game actually, because that was that was just ugly. Saying that buncus. I wouldn't call now I wouldn't call him dirty's on the list really, but neeric was on the list, which I see chuck being for one another Pokin eye hit and and he it was a it was a legal hit one because clotheslining was legal back in the day. See, if you're going to go back that far, you got to understand that the rules were different and it was a different game back then. I mean, plus, the guys weren't as big now. They're fast or any now now. And I mean I've seen. I've seen players that are like ten feet out of bounds and dudes are taking them out like from s the S and S. Yeah, and you know, you see guys getting splashed over the water table. You know, they got it a table with all them cups of water and they just go smash it into that. I've seen that I don't know how many times. So you got to understand the context of a game. Back in those days it was, it was. It was a much rougher, tougher, meaner game. That is to less pads. Less pads. Yes, it's not it's flight football like today. Nothing. The hit, the hit on Frank Giftler, right, who they act like as such a killer hit. How many times did you see? I'll just say this, name Ronny Lot. How many? Yeah, how many guys did Ronny Lot light off? Or Steve Lynch right? Or yes, Steve Lynch there, or John Lynch? John, yeah, John Letge, that's who I mean. Yes, I mean, thank you, so Nihili guys, I mean and high like guys, and you look at that hit on Giftford and you're like what, doesn't really look bad. And I mean and it was a it was a legit hit, clean hit. I'm or even even be doc. I mean how many times you see be dog launched himself ten feet, ten fleets a guy, right, right, you can't even do that today. That's a press that's a the foul. Yeah, there was. There was a I don't know if it was a Monday night game. It must have been a Monday night game because for Tim Harris used to play defensive line for bears, the bears, and he t just planted Brett farve. He that bret far was running around with the ball and I think Brett Farve just got rid of ball. Tim Harris picked them up and it was like watching a Suplex, just planning them into the ground and Brett Farb was out. I don't know if he was knocked out, but he was on the ground for a couple minutes and they ended up out outlawing that move. You weren't allowed to do that anymore. So you know, yeah, it was. It was pretty nasty and a lot of thanns that that's a move, though you were. Simpson was a dirty player. Now I guess kills people. I can't see you, but I mean I know Dj's a dirty person. I know Dj. Yeah, I heard he's a good pezz maker. Sorry, getting dark. Yeah, it Dawkins was on there, but he was a low he was like seventy six. I would not I would call him a thirt the top three. We're perfect. Bill Room announced. Yeah, he was called Rollo. Oh, yeah, he was spensiders, thirty plased. He's a guy could see definitely pulling on some jewels. Yell Roid it up. Oh, yeah, big time. Yes, big time. Brought it up. Ye, not coming out of his all. LYLES ATO was how yeah, he's another day I had. He was roared it up. Ritchie Incognito. Donalkin, sue M yeah, yeah, Stephen Newer, when you're stopping on a dudes head. Yeah, plays over. Yeah, see, you're dirty place. So do you put Barnett in that list? Not, no, no, not yet. Ok. No, no, I'm not ready to get either. No, that's Marcus Hayes was ready. He's not even the first cut off the list. All right, so now we got a Viking Cape coming up. Right, we have five minutes to talk about wow, where did we're not on there overtime. You're good boys. Take it. You got nothing to do tomorrow? Right, Tom now, just work, man, five am. That can wait. Yeah, to show us the power buttons. I got your brother, I got you. Take some time to talk eagles likings. I'm interested in this set. I flexed. I have a flex day to Mars. I don't have any work for you. Yep, I want to real the Friday. Hey, what's that? Not Working every other Friday? I've the Flex Day. Now I'm saying, what's the idea of not work? I don't know why. You know, between my two gigs, it's like when I don't know when I'm going anywhere. I'm times out of ten when I have a flex Friday, I'm working with the movers. I was just going to say, yeah, we rocking the movers. Yes, but I'm not work. They don't have and my wife is the Damn Dispatcher and she won't give me any work to more. It's wrong because there is none thereout. There is no word to be given that one. Yes, and yeah, hook up the home teams, do you would think. Yeah, she got it. She kind of directly benefits, right, right, sort of Rybe...

...yeah, kind of. Yeah, kind of. I'm only part times, says she has to take care of the full timers first. Now Dj was here. You to you're not working any of those days yet. Tomorrow. Today. Where did YOU BRING DJ? is He work with you, though? Now he's he had a small taste of that world and said that's enough. It didn't help that the first four or five jobs he was on was were like fourteen hour jobs. Yeah, yeah, so he was like now I'll find a job at giant goes, sliced telly meets. My Dad used to work for one or seven and he used to leave samesters. Yeah, and he used to load the orchestra. Who you know? Anytime the orchestra. Yeah, any of that stuff in that like academy music and all that business. Before the Kimmel Center. Yeah, you know, back right like late s and stuff, and I remember he brought me in a couple times like, you know, kind of under the table, and it was great. I mean, you know, move the stuff. You know, it was like we work like three hours. You know. I think I got like a hundred and fifty bucks. Yeah, Oh, you know. Yeah, now, eighteen years old, you know, eight, eight, eight, hundred and eighty eight money, about fifty was, you know, you're doing I for you know, a couple nights off stead. Absolutely, you know, it was. It was. It was, you know, breakfast, you know, my dad paid for breakfast and then we would do that. That lunch was on him. Yep. And then, you know, the end I got a hundred fifty cash. Here's we've really derailed now, but under the real we gotta get back to the bike. He's maybe a derail a little further. Do this. He was will beat the May book it you, you guys have heard of marry Alonza? Yes, my dad was. My Dad had mutual friends with him, so he knew him a little bit. used to play touch football with them before he was Marie Alonza back in the day in South Philly. How he got discovered? He was a he was a mover at the Academy of Music. He was one of those guys that your dad yeah, okay. Well, like the work your dad used to do, he would bring like, if you know, some out of town workership was coming in. Yeah, he was see out of one any unload their equipment and bring it back and forth New York, Chicago. Right. Well, he used to sing while he was doing that get out of town, and that's how he got discovered. Someone heard him. I was like right, kid, you and I'm Yep, that dudes got a voice. He needs to be on stage, not unpacking trombones. And that's the craziest you know. Yeah, it's a kind of crazy story here. That's how he got discovered. Ye Wait, is that how we got our pitching coach in our fashion and it's ready. Are Kids, you were saying. I wish I could remember who said that over the radio. Tell but you see here at the batters kit really at like sluggersville's. That would baiting get specific as to what type of batting cage, but just try to get some more sponsorship. I want yet slugger a blue girl. Yeah, if it wasn't, then I think it was extra innings. They still around? I don't know. Dave Mondy would know if they were still around. Still go up there all the time. Okay, we still go to a place was all gravel, whole road, you know, once it was left Gravel Street road. Yeah, it had the ball fill make the right in the ball field, sports zone or something like that. Bo. That's as that was. Yeah, yeah, stick an there. Yeah, good spot. fastball's like hiates. Yeah, yeah, probably speaking baseball. You you go to Dream Week with us, comment that you pay. It's a five grand. You got your community money. Take that shit up and that was that was big years ago. Take Ah, make it some money. Take the hole in your backyard and pulling chest pat went to dream week twice. Did it two years in a row. Yeah, I had all stories from there. I'm sure guys going in twenty one. Are you bucked going to be at about its already booked? Well, that book book. But I mean I got my cash. I'm right. You got like six dudes gone. We're trying to make a test spot. My nephew went two years in a row and he loved it. He said it was awesome. He said you start in like January working out, you go down to the bank. I'm ready to go tomorrow, two thousand and twenty one. WHO's gonna be there with he? You might be looking at like Brett Myers, Jay Brown. Ye, should be like they say, shemitty always shows off. You know the balls are. You get like a Mani Trio Baba, Chris Crucker, Chris Coast was his coach. Yeah, one of his first year. I don't know about his second year, and Joe Conklin was on his team. Get Out and he says Conklin is funny as Hell. Oh, yeah, yeah, he says the stuff he says on the radio. It's peg. Now he's creat Oh yeah, he's dirty. Yeah, he know, he gets down. Yeah, yeah, he he said he he was down there to fill out the paperwork, to do it, and you know that they did. It's all. It's on a table. You know, you...

...go out and you fill out this paper. It is a paper. And he said at a certain point you see all the hardware that you can win as individual players. There's a there's a batting, you know, batting, title, gold gloves, all that stuff. He says, when you get to their get to that point, he's like, he goes, I turned it a guy behind he's and he's my nephew paces to a god beyond his his shit just got real ha ha ha ha. And the guy was like, yeah, it's sure did. Yeah, you can't even mel says. Then I'm talking like we aunt and I'm sing I'm going to go to cages. I'll she's like, you idiot, you probably think the phillies are going to look at you a plan, like, what do you mean they are? No, that's not a bad I did never know. But starting in January he said we would go down to the citizens bank in the cages underneath the stadium. Yeah, and we would bat in there and we were going like two, three nights a week. I said, I came home sore every time. Oh yeah, Hey, and they're there's it's not. It's no joke. You are, he said, you are a baseball player for a week. He said after the game you go into the clubhouse, they got a spread for you, you know, food, beer, whatever. Yeah, he got pitched. I'm fired all about the afterparty run. Laughs. Yeah, take bake like to do. I have to stick. Do I have to go between the white lines? I have to go. So I've up between the white lines. Yeah, Hey, they do have a GM a. You could be a GM and go. I do that. There is a GM. Can you go to fill the GMAION and and the wife and kids can comment. It's like to grant or something. Yeah, you just don't bring them. You just let him come into the stadiums. Right, let's stay. Notte tell room what he call it. He pitched. He was a picture when he was down and he his ice was ice, his arm was I stopped. After each game they have the real trainers and stuff. Yeah, not that Sheridan's. Yeah, caught any said. Yeah, they want to sit here. Challenge wanted an old players. Oh your bone, you're done. Oh Yeah, you don't Chid music. Oh yeah, yeah, Chimney's that, you're gonna get one of the ribs. Yeah, yeah, he says you're talking Shit. The showing right. Don't put Brett Myers accus and trying challenge wanted to play spot week. And if you happen to be pitching and you challenge them at the plate, he'sus go by you and to hear Harry's voice. It's out of here. All right, Minnesota. Yet we had to get the MINNESOTA. Yeah, but we'll do our do our confidence picture. It's what I always like to do. So confidence pixes. We take positions. Who you think's could play better? HMM, Eagles, likings. Who Do you have more confidence than confidence? Man, it pops hit me. Who Do you have more confidence in at these positions? All right, quarterback. I'll started off. Got To go to the Eagles, no question. Yeah, caution, Tommy, you want in on this? I got your brother. All right, Eagles, yes, Carson Duck, Kirk cousins? Who? Yes, all right, running back. That you start umself time. You will go back this way. I definitely a Dalvin Cook hot thought. So they can't? Yeah, they can. It's the whole it's the whole thing. I'm little combiny. Yeah, yeah, we got totally. I'll take Madison is the backup to he's just as good. Man. If Cook goes down, I don't know that they miss a beat. He's that good of about spunning that two hundred eleven yards twice this year. Yeah, I kind of like the Combo man just to change up, to switch a bit, switch at the pace and the best in Minnesota. They actually trade it up and picked him up, even though we were like, we're buying them. Yeah, we're waiting. Dope. I'm going birds, birds, I'm going with the change in its oder. Birds, I'm sure. I'm yeah, I hear you. I'll try not to be at home or it's Bennesota yet on the ruse. I hate to us that. You don't get me wrong. I Love I love Howard and I like Sanders and I think they need. I need to think they need to run. Howard, I hate to bring it up. You're going against your PSU guy. Look, I love miles. He's got a Berkeley Shirt at home. I love miles, but it's right. If this is weird, trying to be hitting on that, trying about balls, I do have a Barfet Jersey. It's Penn State Park. Yes, that's a red objective here, like, I know, I know, and I try to be objective, but I like that. Change Cookies probably as best. Ready. Let me realify this in the mix. He's he heard his quat. Let me qualify this. If Howard is the starter and gets the majority of touches. Yeah, I'll take him in sand. There's over. They got to use him more. Yeah, absolutely. Hey, the the thing. It goes forward, man. He doesn't go back and see Vin Cook. Very not that. I always think on that Sunday side of it too. You know that. But best like betten with your heart and bet when your hands. Two things right. Tommy schooled us on that our own. It's not even close, man. He's not in a lay school's on that.

I just said. He's beat with his head. Yeah, Tommy, did it. Know Bet, I think making cash. I did some crazy stuff. Are you guys are recording? I'll tell you all right. Next she is gonna be wide receivers, which we just had this back and forth through the running backs. I think the wide receivers are just as tough. So we're going to look at it as the wide receivers. Don't look at Kirk cousins, just them. Stephan's a little hurt, he's a little bub I think I get a good Minnesota though. You take those two receivers. Yeah, I'll know the Shawan. Yeah, and that's yes, that's the sweat, that's the thing, that's the swing vote. Yes, we're so. The shown. It's the eagles. What Adam, it's Minnesota. He's hurt. He's but hurt, though. That's that stuff on. He's really but hurt. Yeah, because you think doesn't think he's getting this side. They both were well, which you can feed them both this week, though, against some bird secondary. Yeah, that's the problem. Scary tight ends, Eagles, Eagles all day, hard and offensive line the Eagles, because the line m push. We do willow push. If you want to go push, yeah, you're allowed one push. That's my push. Yeah, we'RE gonna go. If we're going to go to talks of still hurt. He's not right. No, he's not. Is it just the foot or not? I think it's just a foot. Just, I mean because if yeah, be if you know of your wheels, you can't any head can't dry training camp now is he had no preseason, nothing but to look at last week and think they're they're all juiced up. Now they got to the quarter back to head a really good week last week. Does that carry? They were playing against I, for I area DJ on the offensive line. Yeah, I don't get excited. Yeah, I thought I heard Ola one for twice. Yeah, somebody's throwing out a right cape. We push that. Is that consensus? Yeah, you're just going line. You're not going back end. Right now. We'll get that. Now we get I'll go vikings again. D backs. Now Line Defense, a line. Yeah, I think we're going to push on defensive line. linebackers. Already pushed on that one. Yeah, linebackers. I think, linebackers. I got to go MINNESOTA. Yep, reluctantly. Yes, I'm going straight, hard, not, not hard. Head secondary and think. I'm sorry, is that on? There's head on there. Yes, we got that, I think. Yeah, I think, coach. That's the last position. We're good. Dog epay, it definitely dog. All right. So if we do the quick math we had, it's special teams on. I don't know. We don't do there. We got five. Five, wow, pretty even. That pretty even. It is even. Yeah, that's that's pretty damn even. Wait on, my math is off soundly. Have nine positions here. Three, four, five, POPs. Is that? And you can't be for all of them. Five, four eagles. Did you get me for all of them? I did. Okay, I proxy voted for you. That's fine. To give me a push. I did give you, a push. All right. So we got. We got five, four birds on the confidence picks. So we're all confidence to the Eagle. We're all confident eagles are going to win. Yes, it's gonna be tight. So how does that translate actual gameplay? Where we going? What are the key matchups in the game that are going to win or lose the game? Force ZA question. The D backs are our defensive backs of hard, stop up big. I mean, other than that, we you know, we could get trained. You know trained well. So fortunately it is kerk cousins thrown on the ball through that. So, however, however, Kirk cousins versus the A. Let us up. Yes, a few teze. You see, five and three against US could be sounds. That shock me if you had a winnings us. Yeah, I think so. Yeah, I agreed. That is that. That's the wanted the keys to the game is the DEFENSI. Backfield. They need to step up against some pretty good receiver. So, shorts, you should just dive a little plan. Do we do tight ends? We did, yet I was in a brainer. Yeah, you know it. Kyle Rudolph, he was hurt. CARLOF is non fact. They don't. They don't think it tight end yeah, they are. Yeah, he's a non factory right. I mean, honestly, my bet is you, if you're shorts, you got to go after the quarterback. They gotta get them. Yeah, you gotta gotta go after him, you gotta get them, you gotta you gotta Rush, you gotta send it up. Yeah, I'm tired of waiting on the Front for to get after them because they're not. They get close, you know. Yeah, they get close, but close as not. It's not cutting it in this particular case. Not Hey grenades and know who she's at. Last week was an operation. So far in the season it's not been the rule of thumb, but that three sacks before last Weekay, right, for four games. That's terrible. Yeah, so, yeah, we got it. We got to get...

...pressure, we got to get hits, we got to get sacks on on Kirk cousin, you know, same, same thing. Make them uncomfortable, make them make bath throws. And on the offensive side you always want to be able to run the ball, dominate, run the ball, eat the clock, eat the clock, keep that defense fresh. So if they can, if they can run the ball, I think we're going to do well. You know, I see I already think the eagles are going to win, but if we can definitely do that, we definitely want to get into one. Our strength is the run on the defensive side. Having given up a hundred yards rush, you're in like eight games. That's their bread and butter. Dalvin Cook. They're going to try to get him involved, try to get him running. It's a home game. I originally, I think, if I go back and look, I had this game as a loss out there in Minnesota to them. I think I may have to now. You had it as well. I had it as a win. You had a win, I had a lost. Dj had a loss and and Flann and I both thought that Minnesota was going to be the top of the north. You look into the beat, though. They beat Atlanta. WHO GOT ATLANTA? They are all off Oakland, but Oakland the last couple weeks looks like they're starting to turn around and they be the giants. Sorry time. Sorry, brother. So what's a screeny game out here? One fourteen paths. Giants are driving. They just threw a pick. HMM, Shit, get that defense. Get should think that they feels you should have took that money with the AH. Sorry, my bad. So I agree for it. They needed and they need to. Just swartz needs to dial up all kinds of exotic blitzes and and we know he doesn't like to do it, but if he needs to, he's got a chat from Jim, Jim Johns. He's got to get that go and and get kirk cousins with his happy feet and given the ball. Yeah, so if we got to get it, I need to get a prediction in final scores. Who wants to go first? I'll go first. You go first. You want me to give you some of the the averages? Birds are putting up twenty eight point two given twenty two point two, like you're putting up twenty two point four given fourteen point six. Really, yes, wow, that's a well, I shock like thirty's playing a good their defense is rank six to pass. What are they given? I don't know if you have this broken down, but what are they giving up at home? I don't have the split for the right. Yeah, they did play the giants in the Rangers. Yeah, yeah, drama. That one. Their losses are their losses are to Green Bay in Chicago, which doesn't help. With no mean flint thinking be at the top of it. I want to go. Two Thousand Eight hundred and twenty four birds, and that's a cover to I think. Right. What's Nice? Two and a half. Yeah, I think it's close. So okay. So three points usually where they give the home team. So Yep, what do you got, friend? Two thousand and Seventeen Eagles. You want in them to stop mounny? I don't know. UPSET THE APFEL car Cu Huad Gus will throw me off. Give it to us. I'll be shy actually. Will tell you this, though. Kirk cousin doesn't win against teams that are over five hundred. He Goes Rover five hundred. So yeah, you got a puncher's chance. I'd rather be home that away. But I that's that's only didn't has me a little off that it isn't Minnesota the whole revenge and you know they're they're still their aces are still chapped from the NFC championship game and beat this last year. But I mean, that's that mean nothing. That was here, though, right. The best part about US wouldn't super bowl, was the fact that we did it there, there and and Pete Doug e p had the what's the coaches name? Jimmer, yeah, he used his office that week and he and Zimmer couldn't he even go when new his own office. Really? Yeah, I'll bad that came going to your own office. I'M gonna go with the oftenance gets himself straight this week. I'm going thirty one, twenty one. HMM. You guys be nice. I think Carson, Carson, not that he's played bad, but he's had, you know, destrious last week, three games, dude. Last week was he didn't need to do anything right. That was one of his fence ugliest healthy games he's had, if not the ugliest healthy game. He's AD. Yeah, he missed a lot of throws. He's been Mr Drizzle heason. We've talked about it. It's really blame last week on drops. He missed a lot of throws. He's gonna get hot. Somebody hurt, and I mean I just throw those. Yeah, he's putting Wade balls way high and how? I mean how many times the has art's I mean it was the second game that they played, or was at Detroit,...

...that he led her. It's way high and now it's got annihilated. Yep, I remember that. I talked about it. I think it was weak two or we three. I said this is not you can tell me all you want, but the receivers drop in the balls. He's the supposed not. And meeting, you guys gave me Shit. Meeting was yeah, yeah, he's he didn't need to do anything. least we did. Bardis, it was the jets. Right, if he's like throwing the ball like that this weekend, up until, I think up until last week, he was. He was looking solid, you know, he was looking pretty good. His receivers let him down on a number of plays last week. I think he really did not look good at all. It was, like I said, I think it was his ugliest healthy game he's had. Tell me, these guys don't look right because they don't play in pretseason. I mean, that's asleep. They got a play, I get definitely. After all that. The other two in the room with this up didn't agree with that. They like Precius. Doesn't mean any staughters, is that? Is that stual, the young bucks, that Dj Young Buck, and slay man and he who's my forty two whatever. YEA BE. You got it. You gotta see that. I mean, yeah, you have to, like we said, we cocks right. You didn't play at all. You do any OTA's nothing. NOPE, YOU'RE NOT gonna walk in. I mean, you know talent, yeah, because he's super talented, but I mean if you don't have the legs, you know, his leg, to push off and to go, he's got no bullosh's and nothing. MMM, hence no sacks, it's probably going to be like well into November before he's coming around. Yeah, actually got three games on the road thanks to the phillies in the playoffs, thanks to what playoffs? So we need we need to take two out of three on the road. Yes, yeah, and I think this is one. This is one, and I think Chicago's the other one. Chicago's home. Yeah, who's the Gold Room? MINNESOTA? Dallas. That was where I'll be next week. Oh, Buffalo, you're going out the Dallas for the game. Yes, brother Nice, right, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and gone with your boy Mike my now week week. He's got a nice comment on here. Yeah, he should be coming. I might hijack his ass and still put them in the years in my suitcase, I mean, I mean my buddy Christmas like out there. So if you're lose another Dallas Fan, right, if you're vom getting too. But but Chris, to his credit, is getting us a sweet, a fucking sweet. Who is Chrismas neck? Guy's a guy from there or he moved out long time ago. He's good theude. This goes to your little revelation when I told you shom. Yeah, you could tell all your buddies now that you're on itunes. Yeah, I think if you're between the ages of like thirty seven hundred fifty seven, that means something. Outside of that, nobody cares. But your this is going to be retained in history forever. So if you want him to commute the MIC, no, let it happen. Is What it is. Okay. Now what are YOU GOING TO JERSEY? Will you wear it on when you're at the game Thanksgiving Day? Oh, come on, it's gonna be a wince. Okay, absolutely no. Not. What Eagles your which Team Jersey are you wearing? Eas? Okay, that would that stopped in seventy seven. Yes, I was a cowboys fan for a minute because my dad was for a minute. Yeah, wow, I mean probably from like seventy three to seventy seven. Okay. Well, just the fact your boy Mike says the eagles are going to beat the Vikings. The cowboys are going to beat the jets and hens. That's go down. The following week is going to be for a first place. Tell my I'm going to Piss on the star for him. Nice. Do one better take a dump late please. Wow, I don't know I find that much time. Okay, hopefully I make it. Take every take a cricket. Drink it like the night before. Take it. Yeah it. Take a little shot of xlax before you. You try to say, have a turtle ready, liquified. Look, I got a turtle ready and like run out. Is Stanley steamers where? Well, you're touching cotton, then you start running it. HMM, that one. I turn the underwear inside out. That's right, only school. All right, I think. I think we're good. Yeah, it is a good I think it's a good thing you stop. Yeah, about taking a double the star? Hey, go perfect ending point. I'm the talk trades and but we're already. We're done.
